82. Waiting at Home
She couldn't wait at home for him to return.
She couldn't even be sure he would return;
the last battle had started, and it promised
to be an epic one, full of blood.
It ached, seeing that empty chair and thinking that.
How could she possibly depend on hope?
she couldn't, she couldn't wait
for him to walk through those doors again
and smile at her.
He might never come home again;
she had to go.
