91. Try and Forget
She could never forget
those younger days she'd shared with him
in lighter times
But that was before the curtain on the world went grey
and blood and black tore the pair of them apart.
She tried to look fondly still
upon the past
where he'd been sweet and innocence
and she so serenely calm,
When she hadn't been afraid
of his other friends,
of what he'd slowly become…
But she tried
to bury it all away
deep inside,
Tried to rewrite the story
of that past with him,
tried to continue on
But the past was true
and buried within her bosom
tight
And she could never forget
those younger days she'd shared with him
in lighter times.
