Character Poems: the Chosen through Time
28. Touma Norstein
He thought things through too much;
he was an enigma, and it drove
him all the more crazy because of it.
He didn't like being confused;
that was a stranger to him
and he didn't like strangers.
He didn't like clashes either: he knew
that oil and water didn't mix –
but they weren't oil and water,
but oil and flame –
An explosive combination, really.
And yet when he stopped thinking so hard
and the other thought just a little more
they realised the fuel they got
Was all the greater in the end.
