This one is really pushing the rating, but I didn't think it was worth putting into the M rating just for one out of 95 poems, you know?

95. Together in the Dark
I knew it was going to be a ride
when I took you;
you were the better woman:
wild, and yet the perfect porcelain face
of restraint.
Another man would have feared being in the shadows with you
in case you slit their throat with your beautiful vampire-like lips
but I was as crazy as you for blood, my dear; I gave you my coffin
to do what you willed inside.
If, in your love-making you bit my throat through to the jugular –
well, you were worth the risk, because that same tame feral beast
made me feel wild and alive inside.
We've shut the lights down and played together in the night:
this dangerous game as the black crows of death took flight
and I figured, if I'm not worth your time you'll dump my body
in a trash heap and move on, and I'll do the same
because I love the taste of blood between my teeth as well
even if I don't show the stains.
The darkness is a magnificent thing then: it hides it all
if you don't bring fear inside; and we're fearless, you and I.
We can have everything, do anything in the darkness –
We can die in the darkness, but we don't
because we've come.
