A/N: Been a while. I thank the patience every time for good reason. I buckle down and write precious little. I really need to make it more of a habit. In any event. On we go.

Bonnie only grew more and more worried as days passed with no information on what was happening to Kim. Finally on the fifth day near evening Mr. Bundy knocked on the door frame of her room. "Ms. Rockwaller?"
Bonnie looked up from her books. "Yeah?"
"Would you kindly gather a change of clothes for Kim, and a blanket please." He stood patiently with hands behind his back. Slightly lopsided in the walking cast.
Bonnie headed over to the dresser. "So what, did you fuckers bury her or something?"
The response chilled her. "Of a sort."
She only hesitated a moment before continuing. "How do you people sleep at night?"
Bonnie turned with her load. Mr. Bundy gave her a pained smile. "By remembering that by doing this we might save seven billion from incineration." Bonnie simply clamped her mouth shut and she followed him. They walked through many corridors down to where the sparring rooms were at.
He stopped beside one with two guards in front of it and nodded. They stepped aside. One of the guards and Mr. Bundy both actuated a control panel at the same time and the room slid open. Bonnie could feel the cold air spill from the room as well as the blindingly bright white light. From the room she heard white noise playing at a pretty decent volume. Looking in she saw what must be Kim huddled against a corner of the wall her clothing in tatters.
"Kim?" Bonnie lurched forward and entered the room. She approached the shivering form of Kim.
She could hear Kim mumbling to herself. "It's not real, it's not real" over and over.
Bonnie reached forward and carefully touched Kim's back. The reaction was instant. She screamed and jumped around. She tried to shove herself into the corner even further. Her eyes were wild and terrified. "Kim, it's me. Are you okay?"
Kim was breathing heavily, terrified breathing. She scanned the room and locked in on Bonnie's face. She didn't speak. Bonnie handed her the blanket. "Its freezing in here. Let's get you out." Bonnie slowly stood and offered her hand. Kim shakily nodded as she wrapped the blanket around the shreds of clothing. Carefully she extended a hand to Bonnie who helped her up to her feet. Bonnie put a hand on Kim's back and gently rubbed as she guided Kim from the room.
Not one of the three outside the door looked at them as they exited. She watched Kim's face carefully as they passed and there was no reaction there. They passed in silence, no one stopping them. Bonnie led Kim back toward their room. Kim finally spoke in a whisper on their way back. "I need a shower."
Bonnie looked at her hard. "What happened in there?"
Kim looked back. "The cold, the light, the sound. That static." She shivered.
"But your clothes…" Bonnie wanted to ask more directly, but couldn't find the guts to.
"Tried to make a blindfold and ear plugs. It just wouldn't work." She spoke just above a whisper.
"So they didn't…"
Kim shook her head quickly. "No, I didn't see anyone." She paused. "How long was I in there?"
"Five days." Bonnie responded with a sigh of relief.
Bonnie saw tears shimmering in Kim's eyes. "It felt like so much longer." She said it so quietly Bonnie almost couldn't hear her.
Bonnie roughly rubbed Kim's back through the blanket. "Well you can get cleaned up and a hot meal in you. You'll feel a lot better." She thought about it. "Well kitchen is closed, but I do have some rejected muffins in the room from the baking teacher." She squeezed Kim's shoulders. "The name is Peter Grant. Not a bad guy. That's that cook guy that we see every day." She new she was rambling and stopped herself.
Kim just smiled at her weakly. "I just want to sleep." Bonnie only nodded in response as she elbowed open the room door.
Bonnie went ahead of Kim and settled the change of clothes on the counter in the bathroom and came back out to find Kim shrugging off the blanket. She clenched and unclenched her hands repeatedly like she was trying to get blood flowing again in them. "Cold?" Bonnie asked. Kim just nodded in response before sticking her hands in her armpits. Bonnie returned to the bath and started the water running for a bath. Not too warm, and stopped the drain letting the bath fill.
She returned again. "Its warm not hot." Bonnie spoke quietly. Kim again gave her a small smile as she passed Bonnie. Not once looking at Bonnie's face. Kim shut the door behind her and Bonnie could hear the water stop and a groan as Kim must have settled herself into the bath.
Bonnie didn't know what to do. She looked around the room looking for something, anything to do besides stand there worried like a fool. She settled on the coffee table and began picking at one of the muffins, dismantling it much like she had watched the chef do in the past.
Bonnie perked up when she heard the door open and Kim stepped out looking a lot less pale. "Better?" Kim only nodded in response as she settled herself into her bed. Still not looking at Bonnie. "Kim?" Bonnie waited for Kim to look at her. "You with me?"
Kim took a deep breath. "Yeah… Its just…" She shook her head. "I just need some sleep."
Bonnie nodded. "Okay." Kim rolled to lay on her bed. "Kim. I'll probably be put there in the morning. And you'll go meet the Dean here. He's going to try and drown you, like me. There's a mouthpiece with a little air in the weight belt. So you know."
Kim rolled up on an elbow. "They kept it so you can't sleep. You can, but its only for a little bit. Very hard to tell after… well after some amount of time." Her gaze dropped and she rolled away again pulling the covers over her head.
Bonnie just stared at the inert form for a while. She laid back down herself and stared at the ceiling. She worried about Kim. It was hard sometimes to tell when someone was broken. Well and truly broken. With all the static and bright lights Kim may be perfectly fine after a good, quiet night of sleep. Or not.

Bonne woke up, or thought she woke up. Usually one didn't float with no reference for up or down when they were awake. Nor were they naked. Nor was it pitch black. She touched her nose with her fingers and didn't see a thing. It was warm, too. Almost body temperature. She mulled over her situation for a bit. "So." She spoke into the darkness and she only heard the muffled inner sound, no echoes of her voice back to her.
So where they had went with sensory overload with Kim, they had chosen sensory deprivation with her. Dicking around with gravity so she didn't even feel weight. She started as she felt something cold bump into her back. She whipped around as best she could and with searching hands she found what it was. Feeling the surface and the shape it was a simple water bottle. With the way it sloshed it was mostly filled. Carefully she cracked the top and tasted it. Water. Just water.
So this was how she was going to spend her days. Going insane in cave level darkness. "Well fuck."
