Please R&R! ^^
Natsu walked the other way from where the group was, avoiding them. The salmon-haired teen held his backpack with his right hand behind his back (A/N: I don't know how to describe how anime characters hold their backpacks like they usually do when they go to school, so just imagine them holding a backpack regularly.) and walked over to the other side of the school.
The school was surrounded by forests, so Natsu easily found a place for him to eat without being disturbed. He walked past a couple of bushes and trees, and slowly made it too a sign and a small fence. The fence was around the school to keep students from going way into the forest. Natsu looked at the sign that he had read every time he came here: DO NOT CROSS FENCE. PLEASE GO BACK. THANK YOU.
A fairy Tail mark was put under the words, meaning that Fairy Tail students weren't allowed outside the fence either. Erza was the one who made the sign, and she did it when while sh angry at Minerva, a girl from the prestigious, high-class private school, Sabertooth, when she was flirting with both Jellal, and his twin brother Mystogan.
Though is did take a lot of convincing -and restraints- to stop Erza from killing her.
Natsu ignored it, and jumped over the small fence, making a sprint afterwards. When he finally found the familiar path, he grinned. When he finally reached his destination, he couldn't help but awe at the sight before him. There stood a clean, blue lake, with trees surrounding it, hiding it from the eyes' view. He slowly walked over to a side of the lake, and plopped down on the dirt.
His eyes scanned his surroundings once more, looking at the trees that were now bristling. How was his life so far? Well, he had an angel living with him, he still needed to find his father, and he still was anti-social. His thoughts drifted over to Lisanna. The white-haired acted kind to him, he noticed, be she was one of those people who would soon see how anti-social he is and leave him.
But you could be wrong, A voice said in his head.
What are you talking about? She will leave me just like the others. I just know it... Natsu told the voice, his voice faltering as did his confidence.
But you don't know for sure. Give her a chance. The voice encouraged, giving Natsu a little hope.
Should I...? What if she leaves me...like... But the voice interrupted him.
You'll never know until you giver her a chance. Natsu lightly smiled and clenched his fist in determination.
Alright. I'll give her a chance. Natsu told the voice and silently thanked it. The voice didn't respond back. Natsu looked back at the lake, seeing something move there.
"I should have brought my fishing poll with me..." Natsu said to himself, after he saw fish jump over the water, almost looking like they were mocking him. A vein began to pop on Natsu's forehead. "You damn fish...!"
"Oi Natsu! It's not nice to yell at fish who aren't hurting you." Natsu looked around the place, wondering who could have followed him, panic began to rise in him, as he searched franticly for the voice. Had they found his secret place? "Who's there?!"
"It's me Natsu, look up." Natsu looked up to see that Lisanna was floating above him holding a basket in her hands, her wings flapping, though not making a sound. Natsu relaxed when he knew it was Lisanna and plopped back down. "Phew. That it was someone else!"
Lisanna giggled, finding Natsu humorous, and slowly touched the ground. Natsu noticed the basket in her hands and tilted his head in confusion. "What's that for?"
"It's for us," Lisanna responded cheerfully, and walked over to Natsu. She slowly bent down and sat on the dirt, setting the basket in between them. "You forgot to eat breakfest this morning, so I thought that maybe I should make you lunch." Lisanna explained.
"Thanks," Natsu said sincerely, smiling at the angel. On cue, his stomach growled, which made Natsu blush and Lisanna start to laugh. When Lisanna saw Natsu blush, she decided to point it out, "You're blushing." She said, which made Natsu blush a bit harder.
"No I'm not!" Natsu denied hotly, though his face said otherwise. Lisanna smiled. "But you look cute when you blush," Lisanna responded, laughing even harder at Natsu's expression. After that, Natsu had been staring at Lisanna's basket, giving her the idea that he was hungry.
"G-Gomen Natsu!" said a flusterd Lisanna as she quickly opened the basket on one side and took out the food items one by one. Natsu stared at all the food Lisanna had packed for them: sandwiches, rice balls, sodas, spicy candy, anpan mans, and pocky." Lisanna rubbed the back of her head sheepishly, "I didn't know how much you ate, so I packed a lot of food..."
"Well umm..." Natsu was too focused on the food that she made to actually answer her response.
"I'm sorry if the food tastes bad or if I wasted some of it! I didn't mean to!" Lisanna said quickly and waved her hands frantically, a blush began to form. Natsu turned to her form and smiled.
"No it's okay Lisanna," Natsu gave her a toothy grin, "I was really hungry this morning, and I thought I would starve to death the whole day, but thanks to you, I won't. so thanks for the food." Lisanna looked at the boy's appreciation and smiled. "Hai!"
The rest of the meal, they talked about Natsu's life. How he came to Fairy Tail Academy, what were his hobbies, and where he had been. "But yeah, that's all I got." Natsu explained as he took another bite out of his sandwich.
"Now that I think about it, Natsu," Lisanna said as she put down her riceball on her napkin. "Where are your parents and siblings?" Natsu stiffened at his bite. He felt himself become still, and tried his best to get the dark and hidden thoughts out of his head. He slowly chewed his food, and made no eye contact with Lisanna. Lisanna noticed his reaction and froze instantly, a horrified expression on her face.
"I...I-I'm-" Lisanna tried to apologize, to take back what she said, but Natsu quickly interrupted her.
"Drop it." Natsu whispered, almost angrily. Lisanna flinched, as his words slowly began to pierce her heart with guilt. Natsu quickly finished his riceball and stood up. "I'm sorry, I have to get back to class. Need any help?" Natsu said in almost a whisper, though he didn't look her in the eye and instead focused on the shimmering lake in front of them.
"I-I'm okay...thank you." Lisanna said, not looking at him in the eye. Natsu just nodded and proceeded to walk back to the fence.
"Jaa nee." Natsu said without looking back. Lisanna nodded as tears began to whelp at her eyes, though she quickly rubbed them and turned back to their picnic.
"Yea... see you later." Lisanna whispered, and slowly began to pack up the picnic. And although she forced herself to stop crying, she could still feel the hot tears sting on her red cheeks.

The tension dropped. Smiles faltered, and tears began to form in some of their faces, as shock was also shown. There was a deep silence, something that Lucy was all to knowing of.
"W-What?" Levy asked, and it was almost a whisper. Erza placed her head in her hand, fighting down tears, but miserably failed and began to quietly sobbed. Jellal came closer to her, and hugged, rubbing soothing circles on her back and whispering her words of encouragement.
Even if she didn't know the person, Lucy had felt a pang of sympathy for the girl's family. Her heart wrenched as he thought about what they would be going through. Just like me... Lucy thought, sadness washed over her, and pools of tears began to form in her eyes but she quickly stopped them and rubbed her eyes. Now wasn't the time to get all emotional, she thought, she had come to this school because she wanted change away from her old life. She had to stay strong.
"L-Lisanna..." Cana whispered, thinking about how this could happen. She quietly sobbed, a hand touched her shoulder. Cana looked up to see Gray looking at her, clearly not liking to see her cry.
"So you heard...?" Cana nodded. Gray sighed and rubbed Cana's back soothingly as he hugged her. "I didn't want you guys to know just yet..."
"We deserve to know." Jet told him as he looked sadly at the crying Levy who was currently being -somewhat- comforted by Gajeel. Droy looked at the inderect rejection and felt a new wave of tears began to form.
"Master's having an assembly in her honor." All eyes shifted to Erza who had stopped crying and put on a brave face. "It'll be in two weeks from now. I don't know that details of when, but I know that she will not be forgotten." She lifted up her hand in an L-shape. Lucy didn't know what she was doing until everyone else put up the same sign.
"Hai!" Everyone shouted and Lucy was surprised at how much they loved their Lisanna. Lucy smiled at them, but she didn't notice a tear roll down her cheek until Gray wiped it off with his thumb.
"You don't even know...Lisanna, and yet you're crying for her..." Gray lightly smiled as he held out his hand at the blushing Lucy, "I respect that, and thank you for it. You're now not just the new girl in my book." Lucy smiled and high-fived his hand. "Hai!"
When she noticed all the others begin to stand up and welcome her to Fairy Tail, also thanking her for her respect to their deceased friend, Lucy smiled happily -and a bit tearily- as she gave a silent thank-you to her mother.
She had finally been accepted.

The rest of the day had been quite silent Natsu, though he was used to it. Being the loner as school was...silent, but he was used to it. Natsu watched as a group of Fairy Tail members surrounded the new girl. Lacy? Lucky?
'Lucy...' He remembered and watched as she laughed at something the blue-haired girl 'bookworm' said. Natsu closed his eyes and put his hands behind his head. Guilt began to seep into him as he thought of a certain white-haired angel. He felt bad about what happened at lunch with Lisanna. It's not like he was angry or mad at her, it was more like...he didn't want his 'wound' to be re-opened again.
"Feeling down Natsu?"
"Woah!" Natsu jolted from his thoughts and fell down his deck in suprise. "What was that for?!" A vein popped on Natsu's head as he glared at his disrupter. "You wanna fight?"
"No thank you." Loke said calmly. "You're face just looked sorta guilty, I guess," Loke told him as he pushed his glasses. "By the look that was on your face, I guess I can tell it's about a girl. Am I right?"
Natsu's vein vanished as his expression turned into guilt. Would it be helpful to tell him about their argument? Natsu pondered to himself. If it would stop making him feel guilty and get on good terms with Lisanna, then it would be all worth it, he decided.
Natsu turned to Loke. "Actually...it is." Loke smirked. He had never known Natsu was the girl-getting type of person, seeing as he didn't really socialize a lot. But you couldn't not help a fellow guy in need, right?
"So tell me about this girl..."
