Shikamaru and Temari were lying in bed, naked limbs still entangled, when Temari let slip a quiet giggle.
"You know, I've never been this happy," she told him.
Shikamaru pinched her arm gently and laughed.
"Give me a break," he replied. "It was my first time!"
Temari pinched him back, much harder than he had pinched her.
"Ouch!" Shikamaru complained. "What was that for?"
"I was being serious!" Temari protested. "I've really never been this happy."
"I was happier when my arm didn't hurt," Shikamaru grumbled.
"But you're still happy?" Temari teased.
His only response was to pull her closer.
