"You're not paying?!" Temari exclaimed, in shock. "It's our first date, Nara!"
The corner of Shikamaru's lip twitched as he held out his hand.
"I paid half of the bill," he explained. "And you'll pay the other half."
"You're crazy!" Temari told him, reaching for her wallet. "I can't believe girls even like you!"
"You like me," Shikamaru pointed out. "And we both like for women to be treated as equals. So really, you appreciate this gesture."
Temari slapped the money into his hand, snorting.
"Think what you want," she muttered, glaring down at the table to hide her smile.
