A/N: The end of this arc is closing and that means the end of Rissy's

The Fairy Tail mages were both shocked and saddened at the news of Rissy's apparent capture.

They had been sitting in the guild hall deciding on a plan of action for the past half hour; however it seemed that they weren't getting any success.

Lavender sighed sadly in her place next to Lucy, the smallest exceed had taken the capture of Rissy in the worst possible way and was no longer her usual jovial self.

"How can we find, Rissy-Chan...There's not even a scent to follow" She said sadly.

Lucy turned to the small exceed with a small smile. She still had Rissy's bonsai tree with her it was almost a silent reminder that they would get both salmon haired siblings back.

"That isn't true, Lavender. Master sent both Gajeel and Wendy out to follow Natsu's scent...so wherever he went Rissy will be" Lucy answered.

Happy nodded in agreement before offering Lavender a fish. The small exceed took it with a sad smile before slowly taking a bite.

"And Natsu has a great sense of smell, he's sure to find Rissy in no time" Happy declared with a wide grin which caused Lavender to smile.

The youngest dragon slayer sighed as she watched Gajeel and Lily expertly track Natsu's scent. Sometimes she wished she was as strong as the others so that she could be better at protecting her nakama but the blue haired girl knew that her nakama still loved her, no matter how strong she was.

Wendy watched intently as Levy cast one of her own spells in order to help the dragon slayers. The words 'reveal' suddenly appeared and then sunk into the ground where a trail of footsteps were.

As if feeling her gaze the script mage turned to Wendy with a smile.

"This way we can see who left the footprints" Levy explained.

Wendy's eyes widened while Carla nodded in understanding.

"Good work, Levy" Lily praised with a nod.

Levy gave the dark exceed a smile before Gajeel unexpectedly placed a hand on her wild locks. Undoubtedly making them even wilder.

"Gajeel..." She said with a whine, though both exceeds and Wendy didn't miss the faint blush that decorated her cheeks.

Wendy smiled as Gajeel released his signature laugh, it may have not been clear to a lot of people, but it was clear to herself and the exceeds that the script mage and the iron dragon slayers shared some unspoken bond.

It was a different bond than that of Gray and Juvia's it wasn't obvious to either party yet for some reason both mages danced around one another yet still managed to lean on the other for support.

"Kid...We're moving" Gajeel said pulling Wendy from her thoughts.

She nodded as she watched both Levy and Gajeel follow after the words which had formed the words 'Elijah'

Wendy nodded with a smile as she followed after the older mages. She, Carla and Lily exchanged a knowing look before carrying on, small smiles stretching across their faces as they watched the iron dragon place his arm protectively around his script mage.

The cell was mostly dark due to the lack of light, though Ezekiel never minded the dark. A large part of his life was spent in darkness, so being submerged in it never fazed him.

For he didn't just adopt the darkness in his soul, he became it.

He knew his fate, most likely a rune knight was going to enter in the next half hour and bring him to his demise. He welcomed his death. No he embraced it.

Yet somehow everywhere he looked he saw the same dark eyes that had always looked so hopeful, the eyes that never seemed no matter what he did.

The sound of the door opening caught his attention and he was met with the emotionless faces of three rune knights.

He wordlessly stood, knowing what awaited him once he passed the metal bars of the cell.

And he walked, his head held high and lips pressed into a thin line as they stepped closer towards the doors that he would never again pass back through.

The sudden sound of the ground shaking caught all their attention, however before any of them could react a loud explosion emanating from the ground beneath them caused the rune knights to get blasted back and most likely to get knocked out cold.

Ezekiel turned as the familiar green eyed gaze was turned to his own. Stepping out of the shadows he was met with the sight of his old cyan haired companion.

He watched silently as Elijah used a sharp edge of stone to cut the magic binding chains around his wrists.

Elijah smirked at his handiwork whereas Emmanuel gave the purple haired mage a nod of silent recognition.

"No Esther?" He asked his gaze flickered to Emmanuel who stiffened slightly.

Elijah turned to face him, his face hidden of all emotion.

"She's gone but her death isn't in vain" he said before placing a hand on Emmanuel's shoulder.

Ezekiel narrowed his eyes on the dark haired mage. There obviously was something he wasn't telling.

"Now I left something important unattended, we should get back" he said before he sent the stone to encase each of them and in a flash they had left the cell.

Once the salmon haired dragon slayer realised that Elijah had to have been following them since they arrived back in Magnolia, he felt a familiar anger rise inside of him.

His scent washed over nearly most of town, staying confined to the shadows to keep himself concealed from the dragon slayers for as long as possible.

The scent suddenly stopped as he reached the edge of the town, it was almost as if the mage had disappeared into nothing which was impossible.

He released a growl of frustration before he heard familiar voices calling his name behind him.

"Natsu - San, we found you-" The youngest dragon slayer said excitedly.

Gajeel, lily and Levy appeared next to her before the iron dragon slayer turned to face Natsu with a grin.

"You actually thought that we would let you run off on your own, salamander?" He asked with a grin.

If it wasn't for the dark haired dragon slayers smirk, Natsu would have mistook his earlier statement as somewhat caring.

"The footprints stop here too" Levy pointed out before turning to face Natsu with a small smile.

"Did you manage to find anything, Natsu?" She asked.

Natsu shook his head before turning back to the script mage, she had formed the words 'FOLLOW' the words sunk into the ground which only caused the mages to frown I'm confusion.

Levy then used her magic to create the word 'TUNNEL' the tunnel formed in the ground where the words 'FOLLOW' were seen still floating through the tunnel.

Natsu was the first to jump down into the tunnel, followed by Gajeel who pulled Levy in by the back of her dress despite her protest. And then Wendy, Lily and Carla, who carefully climbed down to join the others.

Wendy stood in awe at the words as they continued to float down the dark tunnel.

"This is amazing, Levy-san..." Wendy gasped as she watched the words through the tunnel.

Levy blushed slightly before turning to the younger girl.

"Thanks, Wendy but it isn't that impressive" She said as they continued their walk.

Natsu let his flames engulf his fists and thus allowing the group some light as they walked through the tunnel as they followed the words.

"So you think that whoever took Rissy went through here?" Lily asked the script mage.

Levy nodded to the dark exceed before turning back to face the words.

"I think so, since my solid script has taken this trail...It should lead us right to her" Levy answered.

"And the bastard that took her" Natsu added with a growl. He was going to pound that earth mage bastard.

So what did you think of that?

Stay tuned for the next chapter where things happen and we find out what Rissy's been up to.
