118. On their Wedding Day
He could still scarcely believe it
but it was true: the garden of Eden
had stretched out before the pair of them
and they danced
For eternity: she spun and spun
until he could spin no more, and she spun
some more without him, just wrapping
the white butterflies of her wedding dress
into a lovely embrace
And he couldn't be jealous of that dress
for holding her more than he
but he savoured his wedding day daze
a moment
before spinning a little more with her
again
And they spun and spun and spun
together in their embrace, and apart, watching each other
and smiling all the while
in wedding bliss.
