I am so sorry this isn't an update! Believe me, I wish this was an update. But alas, tragedy has befallen me and I do not know when my next update will be. There will be a next update! This isn't one of those "my life is ending so i'm not updating this fic anymore. everyone lives happily ever after, the end, thanks for reading!" ANs. No, i will be updating.
So basically what happened is that Ellie Parker was an idiot and spilled water on her MacBook (aka: the only computer she has). As I type this my Mac is sitting on the blower of my air conditioner where it will be for the next four days or so because that's what Siri told me to do. Luckily, i had not started the next chapter of this fic or i'd be a lot more upset about it. that's not to say though that there wasn't any hysterical crying as i called my dad for help; there was actually a lot of hysterical crying. But Ellie Parker's dad said "never fear" and found a place on campus for me to rent a Mac from until she comes home this weekend and they can get her computer fixed then!
Now, little known fact about Ellie Parker: she knows nothing about technology so this whole iCloud thing? Yeah. I don't know how it works so I never thought to use it. *palm to face* For right now i am in denial that my computer is most likely kaput and just not thinking about all of the work I am about to lose. especially all of the original stuff i've written in the past four weeks. except that's not a big deal because it was all first draft stuff and it all sucked so i was gonna have to rewrite it anyway.
SO IF YOU'RE LIKE ME AND HAVE READ NONE OF THE AUTHOR'S NOTE SO FAR BUT YOU SEE THESE CAPITOL LETTERS SO YOU THINK "OH I SHOULD READ THAT PART" long story short: spilled water on Mac. said Mac is down for the count. got a rental Mac. not writing fanfic on said rental mac. probably won't be updating for another week, minimum. really sorry.
