Nothing ever stayed quiet in the guild for long, news of Gajeel and Levy dating had spread like wildfire and everyone seemed to know of Rissy and Rogue being a couple so news of a new member spread easily as fast.

Having arrived back at the guild after hitting another dead end with Rissy's attacker, Lucy was surprised to find nearly all the guilds female members swarmed around the bar.

Turning to Levy who was sat at one of table with a book in hand, she shot the crowd a confused look.

"What's over there?" She asked as she took her spot next to Levy.

Levy turned her neck towards the crowd before turning back to Lucy

"They're all talking to the new guy Cana brought back...and apparently he's cute" She explained with a blush.

Lucy smirked at her friend before turning to the crowd, even Wendy and Lisanna had joined in the band of females. With the amount of attention; both good and bad, Lucy was starting to feel sorry for the new guy.

"Why aren't you sneaking a peek?" She teased.

Levy let out a small giggle before lightly shoving her friend, though Lucy didn't miss the small blush on her friend's cheeks.

"Lu-Chan, I have Gajeel and beside no interest in the new guy " she added with a grin.

"Speaking of guys, I couldn't help but notice that you were Natsu-less" Levy pointed out with a smile

Lucy nodded before releasing a sigh; not being one to give up Natsu had gone with Happy on the hunt for the attacker which left Lucy to head to the guild alone.

"He's looking for Rissy's attacker" She told her friend.

Levy frowned before placing her book down with a small thud.

"Erza said that Rissy might be coming out today" the script mage said with a small smile. Lucy knew that her friend was trying to distract her, Levy was like that, the script mage was able to read anyone like a book and thus made it easier for her to understand people when others found it difficult.

Lucy nodded, while at the hospital herself the nurse had told her that Rissy may be allowed to get discharged. However Lucy didn't stay too long, in order to give Rissy and Rogue some alone time.

"Yeah, it's great that she'll be allowed home at least it will distract Natsu for a bit" Lucy said with a weak laugh.

Levy smiled once more before placing a hand of her own,

"Trust me it will work out, Lu-Chan it always does" She declared with a smile, though she never understood how Levy would always remain so optimistic a smile on her face even when the days got dark - it was just one of the things that fascinated her about the little script mage with the blue hair.

Opening her eyes slightly, she was met with a bright light. Trying to move her uninjured arm she frowned at the weight pinning it down to the bed. However once she turned she realised that the source was the shadow dragon slayer holding her hand in a gentle grip, with his head rested against the bed in a deep slumber.

She smiled at the sight before slowly lifting her bandaged arm to tap him on his head. The action caused him to stir slightly and he blinked the sleep away from his eyes before properly looking at her.

"Morning..." she said her voice still groggy from sleep.

He frowned slightly before punching the bridge if his nose.

"It's the evening," He pointed out with a small yawn.

Her mouth formed an 'O' shape in realisation.

"Really, it felt like Lucy just came and visited only a few minutes ago" She said before gently ruffling his hair.

He smiled at her as he removed her hand from its place in his hair.

"She came this morning...and could you refrain from messing with my hair" he told her, his smile still evident.

Her eyes darkened mischievously as she shook her head with a wide grin. She then leaned forward slightly; her face inches away from his own and their eyes never leaving each other's.

"I could... but I don't want to"she whispered breathily.

He shook his head in mock disappointment, before leaning in even closer. Her gaze momentarily landed on his lips before meeting his own gaze and she didn't even realise that she was living her own in anticipation.

His hand slowly moved to cup her cheek and to her shock and surprise the other moved to tangle itself in her hair. Her eyes widened though he was sporting an innocent smile.

"Hey...that wasn't fair" She said with an added pout.

He pressed a chaste kiss against her lips, which instantly had her pout dissolved. However she was still sour that her wild hair was a mess."Now we're even" he told her with a smirk.

"It doesn't mean that I have to like it" She said as she folded her arms over her chest. She then

to him with a smile; her sour mood having gone.

"But I can't stay mad at you" she whispered before leaning to close the space between them. Her lips were inch away from his own when the door opened, causing the dragon slayers to abruptly part from each other.

"Didn't think that we were interrupting anything" Sting stated as he walked in.

Natsu shook his head as he walked in beside him.

"Wait, what were we interrupting?" He asked with a frown.

Lavender, Happy, Fro and Lector were at their heels. Lavenders head was adorned with bandages and she was the first of the new arrivals to climb onto the bed.

"Rissy-Chan and Rogue-Kun were about to make out" Lavender pointed out.

"Stupid cat is going to get another head injury" Rissy said in a singsong voice.

"Sting never threatens me" Lector declared which caused Lavender to frown.

"So guess who's leaving today?" Sting asked with a grin, and instantly all arguments were forgotten.

Rissy shrugged before turning to face her brother, he too had a look of confusion.

"Technically, us since we're not staying" Natsu pointed out.

Sting sighed loudly before sweat dropping. Though Rissy didn't understand what she or her brother was missing.

"I meant your sister!" He exclaimed as he gestured to her on the bed.

Rissy grinned widely; she was itching to leave the hospital for she hated being confined in one place for too long.

"You mean it, I really get to go?" She asked with a smile.

Sting nodded "and you and Rogue get to spend all your time together" he said with a cocky smirk.

Rissy smiled before embracing Rogue tightly, he seemed somewhat taken aback by the sudden embrace - most likely because his face was now buried in her cleavage.

"Think of all the fun we can have" She declared, unaware of Rogues blush.

Sting started to laugh which only confused her.

"Yeah, Rogue all the fun you'll have alone with Rissy" Sting teased.

Rissy was sure that she was missing some sort of hidden message or an inside joke, if Rogues blush combined with Stings laughter was anything to go by. She glanced down, suddenly remembering that she was still embracing Rogue tightly.

"Oh sorry Rogue forgot you were there" She said with a giggle before releasing him from her hold. Though he was sporting a blank expression.

"Looks like you broke him" Sting sighed with a smirk.

"Maybe Wendy can fix him?" Natsu suggested with a shrug.

"His face is so red" Happy laughed causing the other exceeds to laugh in agreement.

She fiddled with her hands slightly before turning to glance up at her brother, hoping that he would get the hint. He narrowed his eyes before quickly widening them and then turning to Sting.

"Hey, I saw this really cool thing outside" Natsu declared before ushering the blond out of the hospital room.

Sting tried to protest however Natsu continued to push him out with the exceeds in tow. Her brother offered her one of his signature smiles before shutting the door behind him and leaving the pair in silence.

She sighed as she pulled away from him, knowing that it was going to be goodbye for a while as the returned to their respective guilds.

"But I kind of don't want you to leave..." she sighed.

He nodded in understanding before embracing her, placing his face on the junction of her neck.

"Ditto" he whispered.

She lowered her head with a small blush, her bangs now covering her eyes.

"I don't even know what that means" She said with a giggle. Rogue shook his head with a smile, placing his forefinger and thumb underneath her chin and forcing her to look him right in the eyes.

"It means the same; I don't want to leave either" he explained, before covering her lips with his own. His lips moved feverishly against her own, the both of them knew that it wasn't to be a last goodbye however they both hated parting.

She slowly and regretfully withdrew from him, as a man of little words, Rogue Cheney certainly proved that actions spoke louder.

The Fairy Tail mages were happy that Rissy's jovial mods continued despite Rogue and Stings departure. Though Natsu had to admit that he felt some sadness at their goodbye, though he was certain that it wasn't a last for the pair.

However it was once that they arrived back at the guildhall did the mood lighten in there too, the members quick to congratulate his sister upon arrival and her close friends to share reunions. He noticed Lucy, Levy, Erza and Juvia embrace her at the same time before Erza started poking at her bandages.

"Both you and Natsu need to learn to not be so reckless" Erza said, her tone firm but caring. The other guildmates shrank back slightly from the redhead whilst Rissy smiled widely.

"Don't worry Er-Chan; I'll be careful next time" she stated which caused the requip mage to sweat drop slightly.

Having not been in the guild that morning Natsu was surprised to see the large crowd surrounding the bar whilst loudly squealing. He turned to Lucy with a confused expression, the blonde signalling for him to sit with her.

"So what's with them?" He asked once he was seated.

Lucy turned to where his gaze was focused.

"Oh, the new guy only he isn't exactly a member until master gets back" Lucy explained to him with a smile.

He nodded before turning back to Rissy, his sister now sitting with Juvia and Lisanna. The takeover mage must have said something embarrassing as it had Juvia's face red whilst Rissy laughed loudly.

"Cana brought him in" Lucy told him as she fiddled with her celestial keys.

Natsu nodded once more before turning back to the crowd, it had now parted allowing the new guy to step through, though his fan base were expressing their disappointments loudly. Natsu narrowed his eyes at the newcomer; something about him seemed familiar for one it was the way he walked, his dark wild hair that fell into his face and lastly his dark eyes.

"Where did you say he was from, Luce? Natsu asked.

Lucy frowned before placing a finger on her chin in thought.

"I didn't, though he seemed pretty quiet...not much of a talker" Lucy explained.

Natsu nodded though he continued to keep his focus on the newcomer, though he noticed that his scent was faint but familiar, however before he was able to make a connection his sister had bounced in front of the new guy effectively startling him.

A wide girn was plastered across her face, and her hand outstretched as if she wanted him to take it – the situation seeming all too familiar to Natsu.

"Hi I'm Rissy, we haven't met until now but welcome to the guild!" She declared before wrapping her arms around him and lifting him slightly off the ground, despite her recovering injuries.

"Rissy stop harassing the new guy!" Erza demanded which instantly caused the salmon haired woman to not so gently release the new guy.

Lucy watched in amusement before turning to Natsu, a small smile crossed her face once Erza continued to lecture Rissy on not picking up men without their permission.

"She sure has made an impression on Rinan" Lucy pointed out.

He turned to see Rissy now happily conversing with new guy - or Rinan however what surprised him was the small ghost of a smile that appeared on the man's lips that just seemed all too familiar for Natsu.

"Wait, 'around' isn't a place" Rissy stated in confusion, breaking Natsu from his thoughts.

Rinan opened his mouth to speak however Lisanna did it for him.

"It's sort of an expression, meaning that he's from the area" She explained before turning to the dark haired man with a smile.

Rissy nodded in understanding before turning back to Rinan, her eyes were narrowed and her head tilted slightly to the side - her 'thinking face' as various guild members had dubbed it.

"There's something about you, Rinan...and I can't put my finger on it" She stated with a pout, and Natsu was sure that he noticed the dark haired man to stiffen slightly.

"Aha!" She declared loudly, which caused the commotion in the guild to momentarily cease as everyone turned to face her in confusion.

She then turned back to Rinan, only to grab him by the arms and making him look rather nervous.

"your name means 'rain' how cool is that...and rain is only my most favourite thing" She exclaimed before releasing him - and a little too roughly as he staggered backwards before regaining his footing.

"Yeah, you have a cool name, Rin" she stated with a firm nod, as confirming the statement to herself rather than to him.

"Well actually it's just Rinan" he corrected with a frown.

Rissy shook her head with a grin, her eyes darkening mischievously.

"Nope" she said popping the 'p' in process.

"You have a nickname since we are officially buddies!" She declared before tightly embracing him once more.

Rinan looked slightly I'm uncomfortable in the embrace as he struggled to free himself, however with Rissy putting all her strength into the hug the possibility of escape for the dark haired man was impossible.

Natsu watched the exchange before turning back to Lucy, the blonde sharing his confused expression.

"Keep an eye on him" she whispered, low enough for him to hear with his enhanced senses.

He nodded before scooting closer to Lucy, to anyone else it looked as if he was putting an arm around her - which he was, though the new position allowed him to whisper to her without being heard.

"You think something's up with him too?" He asked.

Lucy nodded before discreetly gesturing to where Rissy was sat, along with Juvia Lisanna and now Rinan.

"It can't be a coincidence" She whispered before turning back to face him.

"Rissy gets attacked and then he shows up when masters not around?"

Natsu nodded, now that Lucy added it all up it made the situation make sense.

"He's definitely hiding something" he added as he turned back to face Lucy.

"We keep it between us, we don't need unnecessary attention...but keep close he's obviously targeted Rissy" Lucy pointed out as noticing how close the pair were.

Natsu nodded once more,

"He's up to something but we just need to find out what" he stated before turning back to face Rinan, he was going to keep a close eye on this new guy at least until they found out his intentions.

Oh Rissy when will you discover the connection between you and Rinan. However the two have finally met, but what are his intentions. But Lucy and Natsu are gonna be watching him.
