Crossposted from AO3. What if season four was just a story Victorian Watson told? The biggest recurring theory since season four aired has been that part or all of it was taking place in John's head. At the end of TAB, it is implied that Victorian Sherlock could have made up all the modern stories. What if season 4 was when Victorian Watson took over the story?
