Chapter 3
I have been living with Arric and Melody for two and a half years now. My fighting has become almost perfect with my age (currently 8 years old), and I've learned 16 languages (Chinese(duh), Hindi, Spanish(easy), Arabic, Malay, Russian, Portugese, French, Javanese, Japanese, Bengali, German, Korean, Turkish, Vietnamese, and English(relearned(Italian is her main language)). I've written down all I know about this world and other animes (One Piece, Dragon Ball Series, Code Geass, InuYasha, One Punch Man, Sailor Moon, Card Captor Sakura, Wedding Peach, Cowboy Bebop, Bleach, Fullmetal Alchemist series, etc.). I also have sketches of all the characters.
It turned out that I couldn't slow my learning rate down enough so I wasn't saw as a genious. I now know how to run a business and hotel chain, cook, bake, and anything my parents think would be good for me to learn. I did still go to regular school and they don't think I'm a genious (thank god), but I feel as if there is something my parents aren't telling me. My life with them has been nonstop learning and its making me uneasy. They constantly look wary of something.
"Vega- dear, we are going out and want you to stay at one of our friends' house. Is that alright, dear?" Melody, my mother asks. I looked at her and nodded.
"May I take all of my Journals and sketch books?" I asked her.
"Of course, dear. I wouldn't want you to be bored." she told me, happily. Then father walked in.
"Alright, everythings ready to go. We'll be dropping Vega off at his house and going to the restraunt." Arric, my father, said to mother. I smiled at them. I was happy that they were still taking time to date.
Now, we are in the car heading to their frieds house, and it seems that this friend lives in seclusion, as he seems to live deep in the forest. After a while, we finally pulled up to a beautiful traditional chinese home. We all got out of the car, knocked on the door, and waited for the person to answer. I was deffinitely curious about this friend of mother and father's, as this is the first time that I had ever met any of their friends.
It was about 5 minutes later that my mind recieved a shock (though I didn't show it on my face or in my eyes). The person that answered the door was Fon, the Storm Arcobaleno. My parents were having Fon watch me while they have a date. I looked at him and tilted my head in curiosity.
"Hello Arric, Melody." he said, then looked at me. "This must be little Vega. I've heard much about you little one." I nodded my head and then withdrawn into my mind to think about things more thoroughly.
As I was thinking, I was moved to Fon's sitting room with all my stuff being put in a bedroom. When I finally organized all my thoughts my parents were gone and Fon was sitting in front of me. Fon noticed that I finally came out of my own world and smiled at me. He then placed some tea in front of me, which I took and nodded in thanks.
"You must have had a lot to think about, huh, little Vega?" he asked me. I, of course nodded and showed him one of my notebooks that I had brought with me. The notebook was one that I started for the Harry Potter Series. I was going to write various scenarios for each book of the Harry Potter series. The one I gave him was the original first book.
I watched him read through my work and he was showing a good amount of surprise at my skill of writing up stories. He was practically devouring my notebook whole. I knew that it was good, so while he read that notebook, I started writing in a new one with Harry being in Ravenclaw with Severus and Remus as parents. I had already written all of the original story and now I'm writing one where the dark were the good people.
When I looked up again, I saw Fon openly gawk at me. I raised an eyebrow and tilted my head. What did he see that made him look at me like that?
"You are very good with words, Vega. Do you perchance have any other stories that you sugest I read?" he asked eagarly. I nodded, of course I have something that I think he would like. So I gave him another notebook, but this one was filled with the Hobbit novel. I grinned at him with mirth as he practically snatched it up. This was how the night continued until we went to bed.
When I got up in the morning, Fon looked at me and then he looked as if he came to a realization. He poked at my cheek marks and my hair. I know I look wierd, but why is he surprised by them?
"You look much like a friend of mine." he stated while looking sadly at me. "He doesn't much like to be around others unless he gets money out of it though."
It was later that day that we got the news of my parents' murder. Fon decided to take custody of me and train me up to be my father's heir to the Mafia Famiglia of Vlauttine.
A/N: What do you guys think so far with this chapter? Should I break thos chapter up and add more details to her life so far? Or should I keep it like it is and going to detail of her life with Fon as her guardian? Who should she meet next? Should she be sent to live with Kyoya's family and help raise him? Or do I send her to Byakuran?
R & R PLEASE!
