A/N: Here's the epilogue guys and I want to thank everyone for staying along this far. It's been an emotional journey.

Now here's the epilogue...

*One Year Later*

The sun was shining brightly down on Magnolia, hope of the infamous Fairy Tail guild and many of a certain salmon haired woman's family. Clarissa Cheney, (otherwise known to her friends and family as Rissy) was grinning like a madman as herself, her son and husband walked through the familiar town.

She smiled as Rogue continued talking to their young son, his small tuft of jet black hair blowing in the gentle breeze and dark orbs wide with excitement. At his age everything excited the young baby and caused him to smile - well he was her son after all.

Rinan had always been a curious baby, always trying to pull at Lavenders wings or poke at the beady eyes of Frosch's costume and even grappling at the faces of all who held him. Though the one person he loved to be held by was his father. Though Rinan was close with both of his parents, he shared a close bond with his father.

"-and over there is bakery where your mum gets the best fudge" he explained to the nine month year old. Rinan cooed in interest before placing his fist in his mouth.

Rinan lifted his head to turn to face his father, a small pout on his lips. "Bab-ary?" He asked, though it was slightly muffled due to his fingers being in his mouth.

Rogue nodded with a smile which caused Rinan's eyes to brighten.

"Yes, Rinan...you're so clever" He praised which caused Rinan to babble excitedly. Rissy smiled at the scene before placing a kiss on his forehead, causing Rinan to laugh and shake his head away.

"He's learning so fast" She commented as Rinan hid his face in Rogues shoulder.

Rogue nodded in agreement before turning to face her, though readjusting Rinan in his arms.

"He loves being outside, especially the forest" He added whilst giving her a smile.

She blushed slightly before nodding. It seemed that their son had inherited her love of the outdoors and especially trees.

"But he loves his parents more" she added before pressing a kiss a Rinan's nose, which caused him to erupt in a fit of giggles.

"-and there's my favourite little man!" A voice slurred.

Rissy smiled at the sight of her guildmate and friend, Cana. The brunette wasn't with her usual bottle or barrel, though Rissy assumed that she already had quite a bit to drink.

"You've finally showed up?" Cana asked as she flung her arms around the parents, though Rogue seemed a bit uncomfortable in her embrace.

"It's been two weeks, Cana...and Rogue hardly has time off anymore due to all the new members, and Rinan hates public transport-" she started before Cana silenced her.

"Yeah I know, but it still sucks not seeing you here every day and I miss this little cutie" She stated with a grin before taking Rinan from Rogue's arms.

Rinan giggled as Cana made faces at him, and the two parents walked behind and into the guild. Lavender and Frosch were already inside, for the two exceeds had already arrived earlier with Lector and Sting.

As soon as said dragon slayer spotted them a cocky smirk appeared on his lips.

"So you tell me to come early and then you two show up late?!" Sting exclaimed with mock hurt.

Rogue just rolled his eyes which caused Sting to laugh. During the process Rissy spotted her son being passed round the majority of the guilds female members - though of course he loved the attention.

"Rinan threw up on the ride over" Rogue explained before taking his son back from Laki.

Sting grimaced before smiling at the baby.

"Ew. He really doesn't take well to transport" he stated with the surprise clear in his voice.

Rissy nodded in agreement, before Sting placed his arm round her shoulders.

"It's probably from her side of the family" he stated with a laugh which caused her to frown. Though before she could counter his statement, her brother appeared.

"What about our side of the family?" Natsu asked with his arm draped over Lucy. Though she was barely showing, Natsu was always as protective of her.

Sting just shook his head with confusion, his obvious respect for Natsu clear.

"Oh that you would make a great dad with all your..um..dadness?" He answered with uncertainty, though Natsu didn't seem to notice and puffed out his chest in pride.

Lucy just rolled her eyes in response which caused Natsu to frown. Though Rissy had no doubts over her brother being a good father she wasn't sure what 'dadness' was or even if Natsu possessed such a thing.

"Well we can see when he actually arrives if his 'dadness' is up to the challenge" Lucy said with a laugh. Natsu frowned before attempting to counter her statement, she started laughing at something Sting had said which only seemed to cause her brother to pout.

Both Rissy and Rogue smiled at the scene, with Rogue gently rocking Rinan in his arms as the three mages bickering continued.

"So a whole year" She said with a sigh as she reminisced over the time that had passed. The couple had been through alot together and she was sure that with the new addition to the family that the adventures were sure to continue.

"It's gone by pretty fast.." He added before smiling down at his son. The moment Rinan was born he knew that he loved him, and he knew that he would do his best to ensure that he remained an important part of his life. Even though Rissy had assured him that he would be a good father, he feared he would end up like his future counterpart and wake up with nothing. There had been numerous times when he had woken up in the night, afraid that his wife, son and best friend were gone and it taken the efforts of both Frosch and Rissy to ensure him that neither of them were leaving or that they were going to.

Rouge smiled at her before pressing a kiss into her hairline, ever since the first time he had seen her he had known that she was something different - something special, she had an effect on him that he never wanted to fade. She was his wife, his smile and the mother of his son and he was glad to have her by his side. He felt a soft weight against his leg and turned to find both Frosch and Lavender standing next to him. The two exceeds were final additions to their little family, and as he kissed his son's forehead, and took his wife's hand in his own he felt like the luckiest man alive.
