136. Slytherin Green
Everyone said they'd wind up together:
Slytherin's kind and queen, the crowned pair
that stood together at the head.
And their parents thought the same;
they were engaged, even,
destined to marry.
They had little choice
but to fall in love
if it was their fate
to spend their lives together
And they didn't mind it terribly
back in the day; maybe though
when he found his heart changing
he'd drifted away from her as well
But before that, they loved the roles
of King and Queen together,
the image of them ruling
the castle together.
