145. Giant Love
He never thought he'd find love: he was just too big
with that giant blood in his veins
but then she came along, far more glorious
than he, but the perfect height
so he didn't have to look down to talk to her
or she to him.
They wound up spending
a lot of time together
just talking,
falling in love
And in love they fell indeed
and even the barrier, that obstacle
that came along
was no match for them
because they'd found a kindred spirit in each other
so strong, it was too painful to let go.
If he could have that choice again, he'd fall in love with her
in several more lifetimes
because their one just wasn't enough;
it wasn't coincidence that they were the two half-giants
to meet: it was fate
And they were fated
to fall in love.
