149. Snow Day
It was a Hogsmeade day
in the snow
and the pair of them walked
arm by arm
together.
It was just the two of them
and the snow, raining down on them
like the winter veil it was
and the chill it brought along
And they walked together,
close together,
step by step,
to fight the cold away
And they didn't worry about
how close they walked,
how their thick gloves touched
within deep wool
or how they hovered close together
when they spoke, thin mist
wrapping around each other
in teasing flirts
Or how he kissed her on the cheek
when they walked in,
leaving a warmer spot
or how she giggled and took his arm
and lead him to their seat
or how he shouted the bill for them
like a gentleman
and she
the pretty little lady
he couldn't resist.
