153. Hands On
They were more hands on people; the both of them.
Sadly, that meant they didn't know how to follow directions.
They didn't know when to play it safe
instead of just tossing things into the cauldron
and making it explode.
They had the same sense of direction:
the same wicked humour,
the same arrogant attitude
And that was probably why they could tame each other so well
since they were two peas in a pod.
At least, on the outside they were
but beneath, they had their differences:
the white woman, the black man
that weren't at all so white and black
but different shades of grey
But what wasn't wrong
was that they made the perfect pair.
