That night while everyone was asleep in the castle, Emma made her way back to the hall of mirrors. She had a plan on how she might be able to send snow and charming a message.

Once she reaches the mirror that Regina has shown her earlier, she whispered Sydney's name, but there was no response. Emma said it a little louder. She hoped he would show, that the only person he could speak to wasn't only Regina.

He popped up a couple seconds later, making her jump a little, he was very loud as he said "the queen would not like it if she knew you were here."

Emma said "I don't care what queen likes, and neither should you. She locked you in a mirror."

Sydney said "so we are both caged animals, let's get to the point. Why are you here."

Emma said "I'm here to ask for your help, could you send a message from here to another mirror?"

Sydney said "yes for the queen, but you're not the queens."

Emma said "she wouldn't ever have to find out, it can be our little secret."

Sydney said "there are no secrets around here, the queen is always watching."

Emma said "please, I'll tell her I forced you. She won't find out. You have to trust me, what can it hurt anyway she has already stolen everything from you. Your life, and mine. I want to save us."

Sydney said "I will do it, but this is the only time, I don't plan on getting caught. This is the only favor I will give you."

Emma said "thank you, this is the only one I need. Will you tell Snow White and charming that I am okay?"

Sydney shook his head and he disappeared, Emma waited there for him to appear and when he did he said "they have seen your message, they want you to know they love you and they are building a bigger army as to fight Regina. To get you back."

Emma said "did they say anything about Henry? Did they fix him?"

Sydney gave her an annoyed look as he said "no they hadn't, I am not going to ask them either."

Emma said "I liked you much better when you weren't under Regina's finger you know that. I don't understand why you continue to help her."

Sydney said "because she is my queen, and I don't have any other choice. Now get out of here before someone sees you and we both get into trouble."

Emma nodded, she watched as he disappeared before making her way back to her quarters.

The next morning Emma woke up early, the next part of her plan began today. She would have to break Regina's army from the inside. She knew her parents must have been doing all of the work on the outside. Gathering a greater army.

Emma felt like it was in her to take down Regina's army from the inside. It might be difficult but she planned on doing it anyway.

Emma made her way to the room she had found as a kid, the one with all the hearts. This room was the root to most of Regina's power and Emma planned to change that.

As she reached the door she found it locked. She had expected that though. She took the hairpin out of her pocket and worked her own magic to get it open.

Once that was accomplished, she took some hearts. Not many just as many as she could carry. She took the bag and went out the door that was in the kitchen. She walked down the stream that was close to there and buried all the hearts that she had stolen.

Emma knew this might not work. She didn't have a clue if Regina actually needed the heart to control someone or if it could just be near by. She didn't really know anything about stealing hearts but she was hoping that her plan would work. If it didn't she decided she would just have to come up with another plan.

As Emma was at dinner that night, Regina was acting strangely cold and intimidating. Emma knew right from the second she walked in there that Regina wasn't happy. Emma knew this night wouldn't end well for her not at all.

All through dinner Regina didn't say a word to her, most nights she would ask Emma how her day went. Small talk but tonight there was not even a hi.

Emma finished her dinner in a hurry, trying to get out of the room as soon as possible. As she stood up to leave Regina said "sit down Emma. We have something to discuss."

Emma sat back down, and she said "what would that be."

Regina said "how is your little plot going by the way, you are not a very clever girl by the way. To think I wouldn't notice you stealing from me."

Emma didn't speak, she wasn't going to apologize for trying to help her family. Emma just looked down at her fingers.

Regina said "you're never going to stop fighting me are you? I am becoming tired of it Emma. There must be consequence."

Emma said "please Regina, I can't help myself."

Regina said "I think a little time in the dungeon will do you good. It always worked when you were a child."

Emma said "I was a child then, your dungeon doesn't scare me anymore."

Regina smirked as she said "we will see about that."

Without a second glance Emma was trapped once again inside the metal box.
