A strong man in body but feeble in heart,
Never quite accepting the fool he held:
That boastful pride, so close to his chest
In that it puffed out like a peacock's tail.
Only if he had slayed his tongue before the
Cat ran into another's lap,
He might've managed to save his fate…

Perhaps, he might've even lived another day.
