182. Buried in a Box
The clicking of cameras around him were like
a ghost, a memory that would quickly fade
now that that life had gone –
If only his dear brother wasn't gone
he could have smiled,
could his picked his own camera up
once more
But he couldn't; it lay, buried, in a box
beneath his bed, snapping dust.
He'd taken all those pictures to share
with his world: his little brother
but all he could give now
were his tears.
