185. Girl's Bedroom

That's what happened when you grew up
with boys; they hadn't a clue
about anything: those stuff she had to hide
in her room

And still they saw them, gawked at them:
her bra, her thin floral panties, those tampons
in a box – and it wasn't like they lived in a hole:
they were teenagers after all, or adults

But still they gawked; not one of them had yet
seen a teenage girl's room
except for hers.
