I'm sorry minna-san~ I typed Aoki's full name wrongly the last time, but I had changed it. By the way, at first I want to make this story last for 14 chapters only, but I guess I had to make it longer for few more chapters. Well, enjoy this chapter. Feel free to review minna :) happy reading!
Disclaimer: I do not own Kuroko no Basuke and all characters inside except for the OC characters. The plot belongs to me.
Pairing : Aomine x OC
Maybe OOC. Maybe AU.
Chapter 12 : I guess this will make it up
"Nah Aoki, which one do you think is better?" asked Aomine while holding two different basketball shoes on both hands, a pure black shoe and a dark blue one.
I tilted my head. Really, why should he choose those dark colors when he has dark skin like that? Why, from all shoes that scattered in every corner of this sport store, he chose those two? I left him there and started to look for another shoes.
"Oi oi, where are you going Aoki? Don't just go away like that when I ask you, damn!" said Aomine before he dropped those shoes back to their place.
I kept going to look for better shoes, ignoring Aomine-kun's protest. I stopped when my eyes captured a pair of white basketball shoes with dark blue lines. This one is pretty good, I think.
"How about this one, Ao-kun?"
Aomine furrowed his eyebrows, "No, it's not good," he said and left me there.
I placed the shoes back to their original place, following Aomine. I grabbed another pair of shoes, "How about this one then?"
Aomine turn around to look at a pair of grey shoes with teal blue lines. He seemed to be convinced for a moment, before he turned around, "No, I don't like that."
Once again I dropped those shoes back. We kept going and going, before I stopped in front of a certain shelf.
"What is it, Aoki?"
I turned to see Aomine beside me, "Nope, it's just those wristband look cool, don't you think so?"
Aomine just gave me a small hum before went to another shelf, still looking for basketball shoes. I just followed him behind, before he stopped and took a pair of shoes and held it up in front of my face.
"How about this Aoki? Isn't it good?"
I looked at those black shoes with red lines. It's good, but as soon as my eyes captured another pair of shoes nearby, I took those shoes and showed it to Aomine.
"That's good, but this one I think is better. A dark blue shoes, combined with white and teal blue lines over the side. What do you think?"
Aomine looked uncertain at first, but then he nodded his head, "Well that's fine by me. It's kinda cool with dark blue anyway, just like our hair," he said as he grabbed the shoes from my hand and proceed to the cashier.
I smiled, well I'm happy if he liked it. I waited for him outside the store, and happily followed him when we headed back to the station. I guess this day was one of the best days for me.
We didn't talk much in the train, and the train was not as crowd as the train that we rode before –which I regretted secretly. We walked back to the basketball court, And when we arrived there, he finally talked to me, "Let me accompany you till your house, Aoki."
"What? No no, it isn't necessary though, it's still 5 PM anyway," I said stuttered while frantically shaking my hand. It's a bad idea after all, I don't want him to accidentally meet my mother and find out that I'm a girl! No, I wouldn't let that happen!
"But, you had accompany me to buy my shoes."
"No, it's nothing for me. I'm glad that I can help you anyway," I still insisted that he was fine to not accompany me go home.
Aomine let out a small huff, "Alright, it's up to you, but I guess this will make it up. Jaa, I leave then, Ao," he said and tossed a small bundle to me. What? He called me Ao! Just like I said that I wanted him to call me Ao! But, I don't have any idea what is inside this bundle. I saw his leaving figure and then opened what he gave me.
A dark blue wristband.
I couldn't help to feel a great bang in my heart. He knew, he knew that I wanted that wristband back in the store! I didn't tell him yet he just knew what I wanted. I ran to catch him up. When I saw him, I shouted, "Thank youuuu, Ao-kun!"
I saw him just raised his right hand. I smiled, with tears in both eyes. I walked to my home, recalling those moments we shared today. I wore the wristband, and raised my hand up to the front, so the sun light shine through my fingers. But as I put down my hand, I could see a girl figure, standing in front of my house. Who's that? I approached those figure and froze when I saw her peach locks. That figure turned around and smiled at me. It's… Momoi-san.
