195. Secret Friends
Nargals were the things that no-one believed
except that sweet blonde girl under the mistletoe,
sad, and lonely, but believing in them all the same
And they were fond of her, because she believed in them,
gave them life
with her belief
and they tried to be her friends
But they weren't tangible, weren't visible
to all: they made poor friends,
friends only she could see
and speak to
But she would smile at them;
it seemed they were good enough friends
for her.
