Chris926: Thank you! Hope you like this as much!
Tammy Henson: Goodness no! Poor David! I can't kill him!
Guest: Umm...it might be incomplete but I hardly abandon my works. So, it's your choice
Number Ten: He is going to be in the story, yes, but his name will be different. You will find out in later chapters!
Alexa: Thank you! No, they don't remember anything. It is just a joke. And yes, Snow and Regina working together on the curse...Let's see what happens!
Present Day
New York...
As a new day dawned in New York, a small yellow bug pulled over in a normally busy street. The cold weather, however, was not something many people wish to feel.
Emma peeped out of the window as Henry pulled out his backpack from the back seat.
"Meet you after school?"
Henry frowned. "Mom, I have sword practice."
Emma groaned as Killian laughed at the front seat. "Remind me, why have you enrolled in such a dangerous sport?"
"Would you prefer shooting?" Henry asked cheekily. "Well, I am in archery for that."
"Aren't you, my prince in shining armour!"Emma gently pulled Henry's cheeks as he smiled. Henry turned to Killian, waving.
"See you on the boat?"
"Aye," Killian nodded. "After your sword practice, we will have our own...time."
"Father-son bonding time?" Emma asked, looking at the two boys. "When are you going to tell me what do you on that thing?"
"Not so soon, mom," Henry chuckled, "Patience."
Emma rolled her eyes as Henry finally waved to his parents and ran in. Once he was out of sight, Emma turned to Killian with a smug smile.
"So, what are you and Henry doing?"
Killian gently pushed away a single strand from Emma's face. Leaning forward, he looked her in her eyes. Smiling, he said, "Wouldn't you like to know, Mrs Jones."
"Killian," Emma said warningly, "I will find out eventually."
Killian smiled. "Later, Swan. You will surely find out, but later. Now, would you be kind enough to drive me to the docks?"
Emma huffed, earning a chuckle from Killian. As she started the car, Emma shook her head, "I don't really understand why don't you drive. It's not like you can't."
"The long drives we go on are something I cherish, Love," Killian said, looking at Emma, "and anyways, a few weeks more and I would have to drive myself. Wouldn't want my Swan and Duckling to have any problem."
Emma rolled her eyes, turning left. "As I said, I am pregnant, not sick or injured."
"Aye, but I doubt you would enjoy driving with a baby bump."
Emma sent a glare in Killian's direction, earning another grin from him.
Life was good.
Five Years ago...
Enchanted Forest
Snow and Charming looked around as everyone was brought back. They thanked Aurora and Philips, before starting on their journey to the Queen's castle, which was previously Snow's.
"It's amazing," Snow whispered, looking around. "Nothing has really changed around here."
Charming smiled, looking at Snow. Holding the reins of the horse, he asked, "How does it feel?"
"Coming back?" Snow looked at Charming, "Different. Weird."
Charming gave a chuckle. He knew that feeling. He was no prince, but he too once had a home, a farm. He could only wonder what had happened to the place after his mother died. He never really had the guts to go back.
But no matter what he thought about, his mind went back to one thing. His daughter.
"Thinking about Emma?"
Charming turned to face Snow with a sad smile. "How did you know?"
"You have your thinking face on," Snow smiled. Charming nodded, before continuing. "She is going to be fine, David."
"Oh, yes," David shook his head, "I have no doubt about it. But Hook went with her."
Snow frowned before handing the reins of her horse to happy. Walking to David, she gave him a scolding look. "Is that what's bothering you?"
"Snow, he is a villain for a reason. Of course, I am worried about my daughter."
Snow slowly reached out for his hand, before holding it tightly. "Our daughter has been through so much. Hook is not something that she won't be able to handle."
David did not really agree, but nodding along, he smiled and resumed the walk.
A few paces away, Neal listened to the talk between the two. Had he done something wrong by asking Hook to go away with Emma? There was no doubt that Hook had turned him into Pan and thus betrayed him. But there was also the matter of his mother choosing him.
Neal did not remember Milah so much, but of what he remembered, she always made the best choices.
He was pulled out of his thoughts as he felt a hand on his shoulder. Looking back, he saw Belle smiling at him.
"Thinking about Rumple?"
Honestly, Neal wasn't. But he did not know Belle well enough to tell her that. So he merely nodded.
"You know," she lowered her voice, leaning a bit towards him, "We never really saw his dagger."
Neal stopped for a bit, staring at Belle before he realized everyone was moving. As the two started walking, he turned to Belle. "You think we can get him back?"
"I have read about Dark Ones," Belle supplied, "And they can't really die. Either the Dark One is killed by another person, taking their power or the power is given over to the Guardian."
"My father was innovative," Neal said, "Who knew? Maybe he was the first one to finally destroy the power of the Dark One."
"Nobody can do it," Belle said, "It needs another victim. The Dark One just doesn't vanish. So even if Rumple," her voice broke as she continued "Did die in that fight, a new Dark One must be around. And he or she will know a way to get your father back."
Present Day
New York...
"That was awesome dad!"
Killian grinned at his son's eagerness. He and Henry had a surprise planned for Emma, for her upcoming birthday. He just hoped Emma loved it as much as he did.
It was a wonder how much Killian's life had improved in past five years. Five years ago, he was a crook and a thug, merely cheating people and looting the place. Five years ago, in a Renaissance fair, he was for some reason ad decided to dress up as Captain Hook. He was running away from some people when he had come across Emma Swan and her son Henry.
The two were going to New York, and pretending to be a traveller whose belongings were stolen seemed like a perfect idea. However, something it that trip changed him. Once in New York, he no more wanted to be a crook. Parting ways with the mother-son duo, he became a sailor, something he was adept at surprisingly.
He never really thought he would meet Emma Swan again. But he did, four years ago, in Central Park after she broke up with her then boyfriend-Walsh.
The rest, as they say, was history.
Emma knew of the lies, said she was a lie detector. Up till the date, neither know what made her agree to give him a ride to New York. But whatever it was changed them both.
Killian pushed open the door, shouting, "We're home!"
"You're early." He heard Emma say.
Killian put down his equipment at the door and rushed in. He did not waste a second after he saw her.
He rushed to her and pulled her into his arms, kissing her senseless.
Henry was about to complain when Killian let go of Emma. It was in that millisecond when a wave hit them.
Everyone closed their eyes in confusion. And when they opened, they reflected lives they never knew they had.
"Mom? Dad?"
But neither paid attention to Henry as they held on to each other.
"Swan?"
"Hook?"
Present Day
Maine...
At a place where there was nothing, out of the blue, a town appeared. A town called Storybrooke.
And nobody remembered past five years of their lives in that town.
The curse is broken and Henry, Emma and Killian remember. What next?
