202. In Her Way
She didn't like those who didn't try to understand:
she understood, understood how she was just supposed
to be a pet, who didn't understand anything
But she did: she understood a lot of things
and because she understood, she wouldn't accept:
accept such a life.
Instead, she waited until someone saw past the wall
of her body, and into her sharp mind
with respect.
