A/N- Wassup? It be TOBN here with a long awaited chapter of What If!

Seriously. It has been TRAGICALLY long. I seriously need to catch up. With four chapters [possibly five chapters] left of this story, I need this done right away, because I honestly lost inspiration for this story, and have been incredibly lazy on this story, but that is the cold truth. Sorry guys :(

That isn't a very good excuse though. It has been almost a month. A long time for me. But anyway! Maybe I could step up the next few chapters! Maybe! No promises, because the quality of the one shots are going lower and lower...

What If...

In Re-Vamped, what if Ethan wasn't saved in time? What if the transformation was too much for him, and he suffered a terrible case of blood lust? What if he couldn't control it? Would he really bite his best friend? And how does this change everything for Ethan and Sarah?

Pairing(s): Ethan/Sarah, small Benny/Ethan, bromance.

Sarah watched helplessly as Jesse cackle, smiling as Ethan thrashed on the ground in pain. She saw the transformation happening, and her thoughts raced. Did she want to sacrifice herself for Ethan? Give up her humanity?

That was when Sarah finally snapped to reality; it was Ethan. The loveable, selfless, handsome, wonderful Ethan. How could she not save him? He is worth everything she has ever lived for, and of course she was willing to sacrifice her humanity for him.

The seconds must've cost Sarah a life. She knew the transformation was taking its toll on Ethan. She looked at Ethan in fear, and without any more hesitation, she drew her fangs into his wrist once more, tasting the taste of warm blood on her tongue. Ethan winced again, and Sarah was determined to suck the venom.

But she didn't taste any.

She quickly drew back as she watched Ethan's eyes flutter shut, his breathing paced and his heart slowly stopping. Sarah sniffed back tears as she felt for a pulse; did she save him in time? Is he human? Has he turned?

Is he...dead?

Ethan's eyes suddenly shot open, a glimmer in them Sarah never saw before. Jesse, who stood in front of everyone, smiled as he looked down at the crying Sarah and the weakened Ethan. He grinned evilly.

"So is it now, the mortal is dead?" He mocked. Ethan had sped to his feet, drawing his fangs as he panted for breath, Sarah still on the floor, crying as she looked at him. Benny, who stood beside Erica and Rory, looked at his best friend in a small sense of fear and worry.

"W-What happened to me...how am I.. but I..." Jesse shut Ethan's rambles. "A vampire. Of course you dumb ass. You are immortal now. Sarah...didn't save you in time. Those seconds cost your humanity." Ethan looked fearfully at Sarah, and Sarah cried even harder, feeling his eyes said 'Why did you wait?'

But to her surprise, Ethan picked Sarah up and kissed her.

It was a total shock; Sarah honestly didn't see it coming. The kiss was so unexpected, yet so beautiful. So grand. Sarah enjoyed every second of it as she kissed back passionately, smiling a little before they pulled back for mere seconds. Sarah frowned.

"Why?" She asked. Ethan grinned. "You gave me your life. I am you. And I couldn't have it any other way." Sarah smiled as they drew their heads close, noses touching. Erica gagged the word "cheesy", Rory squealed and clapped, and Benny coughed, catching their attention.

"I hate to ruin the whole 'We found love' thing, because seriously, I am all for you two hooking up," A few laughs. "But we still have some unfinished business to take care of." He said in concern, frowning as they all looked at the mockingly clapping Jesse. He smiled a toothy grin.

"Bravo." He teased. "What a great little show. I would pay double to see it all again." He paused. "Especially after seeing what is to happened next." Sarah looked at her ex boyfriend in fear as Ethan bore his fangs. Jesse circled around the five people as he smiled.

"You know, Ethan, in every stage of a vampire life, there is a time where the vampire begins a lust. For human blood. Especially if you plan on staying a fledgling for long. Let me remind you, there is no cure possible. So Ethan? Are you ready to get a taste of the struggle Sarah went through?" Sarah whimpered as Jesse grabbed Benny, the only human left, and using his fangs, sunk his fangs into his skin. Benny roared, the pain excruciating. Ethan's eyes widened as he saw Benny groan on the ground. He whimpered.

"Did...did you turn him?" He asked. Jesse shook his head with a devilish smile. "Nope! Just sucked his blood. And now, can you handle that smell of fresh, bleeding, human blood?" He asked, sarcasm threading in his voice. Ethan looked at Benny in fear, then at Jesse with a determined smile.

"I don't smell anything! I feel perfectly-"

The smell hit him like a beautiful, soft, pillow. Ethan watched as Sarah turned away, and Jesse cackled. But this was all drowned by the waft of that wonderful smell of...blood. It was so wrong, but to Ethan, it felt so right.

The silence killed Sarah; he was a new fledgling, of course he wouldn't handle the smell of human blood so easily. A shame she didn't have food to make it feel better or anything...but that wouldn't help Ethan.

Benny was on the ground, moaning as he looked into Ethan's indecisive eyes. He saw as Jesse sped away into the night, disappearing. Ethan locked eyes with his best friend, tears now streaming. It was so hard to resist...so...so hard.

"Ethan, Ethan bite me." Benny begged, tears down his eyes too. "I can't handle seeing you struggle." Ethan turned away, wanting to curl up in a corner and scream to death. He looked at Benny and shook his head, eyes still glued to Benny's blood, still trickling down his wrist. He turned away again.

"I..I...I can't." He was crying even harder. "You are my best friend. I can't do that to you. I might not be able to stop. I could kill you. Please don't make me do this." Benny nodded weakly. "Okay. Just...don't struggle. If you give in, I won't mind. You can control it, Ethan. No one is forcing you to do anything."

Ethan took the words into consideration, and he nodded, slowly walking towards Benny. He couldn't take it anymore.

"I am sorry Benny. I can't handle this. I...I need this." He begged him, tears streaming as Benny nodded, Ethan grabbing his bleeding wrist and biting it once more, Benny cringing as he tried to remain calm.

Ethan couldn't stop. It was so good. So alluring...needed more...

"Um...E-Ethan? I-I think you can..stop.." Benny whispered, voice scratchy and weak as his legs were giving out. He was dying slowly. It was happening. Ethan couldn't stop. Sarah, luckily, managed to pull Ethan back, snapping him out of his faze as Benny fell to the ground. Ethan looked at his friend and cried.

"I-I...I-I killed him! Even if I didn't, I could've! Sarah! I am terrible!" He wailed, Erica and Rory quickly treating Benny. Sarah shook her head as she smiled. "Ethan, you are totally okay. You are fine. Benny is fine."

Benny managed to weakly get up, dizzy and trying to stay unfazed by it all. Ethan hugged Benny tightly.

"...I love you." He said in a friendly way. Benny nodded. "If you mean it in the way I think you do, I love you too Ethan." He said with a weak smile. Sarah went by Ethan's side and linked hands with him and smiled.

"I love you also, Ethan." Ethan smiled. "We can finally be together." He grinned.

"Forever."
