The Life as A Young Potter
Chapter 2
"We're here everybody out" Harry said. Instead of traveling by floo powder like they normally did they drove to the train station due to all the luggage Albus and James had to take with them. Albus got out of the car and went to get a trolley for him and James. Now with everything on the trolley they headed to platform 9 3/4.
Albus was a little nervous to go through the gate way leading to the platform but he made it through fine with his Dad's help.
Albus was in the back following Harry, Ginny and Lily when he stopped abruptly when thinking about school, his mind was going a million miles an hour! "You coming Albus?" Harry asked.
Harry walked back towards Albus "What if they don't like me?" "What if I do get put in Slytherin?" Albus asked nervously. "Which ever house you get put into, you will do great in." Harry confirmed.
"You know you have the choice of which house you get put into." "The Sorting Hat always puts your thoughts into consideration." Harry told Albus. He felt a bit better now, but still just wanted to keep his feet planted where they were.
"I love you and I will see you soon honey." Ginny said to Albus giving him a hug and a kiss. Albus walked up to his dad and was saying goodbye when Harry handed him a present. "What's this Dad?" Albus asked.
"It's a gift that was given to me my first year ay Hogwarts and now I want you to have it... maybe don't mention it to James, ok?"
"Yes, Dad Thanks." Albus said questionably.
"Be safe, have fun, keep up on your studies and don't get into to much trouble, love you." Harry said with tears in his eyes. "Love you too Dad." and with that Albus got on the train and sat next to Rose and James.
"See you soon" Albus whispered to himself as the train was pulling away from the platform.
