Roman and Evan are talking when Abe walks in. He walks over to them. Roman notices him.
Roman:
"Hey Abe. What are you doing here?"
Abe:
"I've been summons."
DA Natasha Crane walks in. She walks towards Roman, Abe, and Evan. They don't notice her.
Roman:
"By who?"
Natasha:
"By me"
Roman, Abe, and Evan look at Natasha.
Roman:
"What for?"
Natasha:
"I think it's time that we discuss all of these open cases I have on my desk."
Roman:
"We're working on it."
Natasha:
"I'm surprised by one case. Someone shooting your daughter Commander."
Roman:
"Yes and the son of a bitch is gonna be found."
Bo walks in.
Bo:
"What's going on?"
Bo walks towards them.
Natasha:
"Just discussing the open cases. I'm wondering why they're so many unsolved cases."
Bo:
"We're working on them."
Natasha:
"We're working on them isn't good enough. Get to work boys"
Natasha walks away.
Roman:
"I don't like her."
Bo:
"Well she's right there are too many open cases."
Abe:
"Exactly. You guys need to give me something."
Bo:
"I think I might have something."
FBI HEADQUARTERS
Rafe is looking through some files on his desk. He's about to open one marked "Colleen" when Gabi knocks on his door.
Rafe:
"Come in"
Gabi walks in. Rafe has a smile on his face. He puts the file down.
Rafe:
"Hey Gabi. Is everything ok?"
Rafe stands up and walks over to her.
Gabi:
"Yeah everything's fine. Where's Arianna?"
Rafe:
"Why would Ari be here?"
Gabi:
"She said to meet her here. It's important."
Arianna rushes in.
Arianna:
"Sorry I'm running a little late."
Rafe and Gabi look at her.
Rafe:
"Late for what? What's going on?"
Arianna:
"I have great news."
Rafe:
"What?"
Arianna:
"Brady and I are married."
Gabi:
"What? Oh my gosh."
Gabi rushes to Arianna and gives her a big hug.
Gabi:
"Congratulations."
Rafe:
"When did this happen?"
Arianna:
"Last night."
Gabi lets Arianna go.
Gabi:
"Why didn't you invite us?"
Arianna:
"It just happened."
Sami walks in with Allie, Johnny, Sydney.
Sami:
"What just happened?"
Rafe, Gabi, and Arianna turn to face them.
UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL: NURSE'S STATION
Melanie's drifting off to sleep when Carly walks up and startles her.
Carly:
"Hey Mel"
Melanie jumps up wide awake.
Melanie:
"I wasn't sleeping. I swear."
Carly:
"I believe you."
Melanie:
"It's just it's too many hours. We need new nurses"
Carly:
"That we do. Some applications have been turned in. So expect some new ones soon."
Melanie:
"Yay"
Melanie looks at Carly's hand.
Melanie:
"What's that in your hand?"
Carly holds it up. It's an invitation.
Carly:
"It's an invitation to a masquerade ball."
Melanie:
"A masquerade ball? That sounds like so much fun. I wanna go."
Carly:
"You got in invite as well. It's to help with the new children's wing here."
Melanie:
"Sweet. So are you going to ask Bo to go?"
Hope walks up to the desk. Carly and Melanie look over at her.
UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL: JAN'S ROOM
Kinsey walks out into the hallway and yells for a doctor.
Kinsey:
"Doctor!"
Dr. Jonas comes around the corner.
Daniel:
"What's wrong?"
Kinsey:
"It's my cousin. She's awake."
Daniel:
"What? Miss Spears woke up from her coma?"
Kinsey:
"Yes come look."
Kinsey grabs Daniel by the arm and drags him into the room. They stop right in front of Jan's bed.
Daniel:
"Wow"
THE BRADY PUB
Nancy and Craig walk over to Chloe and Philip.
Nancy:
"You two are not getting back together."
Chloe:
"We're not"
Nancy:
"That's what I just heard."
Philip:
"Oh we were talking about having time to talk about the baby. That's all Mrs. Wesley."
Chloe:
"Mom calm down."
Craig:
"Yes come down Nancy. How about we get some coffee?"
Nancy:
"Ok"
Craig and Nancy walk to the counter to get some coffee.
Chloe:
"Yeah like that's gonna calm her down."
Kate walks in.
Phillip:
"Well this is gonna be an interesting 9 months to 18 years."
Kate:
"How so?"
Philip and Chloe turn to face Kate.
Phillip:
"Oh so you haven't heard the good news yet."
Kate:
"What good news?"
Chloe and Philip look at each other then back at Kate.
Kate:
"Daniel's the father of your baby and you two are getting back together. Leaving Phillip free to find another woman?"
Chloe:
"This baby I'm carrying isn't Daniel's."
A moment of silence.
Kate:
"You're kidding me right? This can't be."
Phillip:
"It's true mom. Chloe and I are having a baby."
Kate's shocked and disgusted.
SALEM PD
Roman:
"What do you have little Brother?"
Bo:
"A search warrant for Colin Murphy's apartment."
Roman:
"Finally. It only took 50 years"
Bo:
"Let's go."
Roman:
"Evan, I want you to tag along."
Evan:
"Yes sir."
Abe:
"Let me know what you find."
Bo:
"Will do"
Bo, Roman, and Evan leave the station.
FBI HEADQUARTERS
Arianna:
"Brady and I got married"
Sami:
"Seriously?"
Arianna:
"Yes"
Sami:
"Oh my gosh. Congratulations."
Sami and Ari hug.
Arianna:
"Thank you"
They stop hugging.
Sami:
"This makes us sisters."
Arianna:
"Yes"
Gabi:
"I'm so happy for you Ari. I have to get going though. We have to talk later. You have to tell me about the ceremony."
Arianna:
"Will do"
They hug before Gabi walks out. Arianna turns to Rafe.
Arianna:
"Well I have to get to work."
They hug.
Arianna:
"See you later"
Rafe:
"See ya"
Arianna walks out.
Sami:
"I'm guessing you're not happy with this?"
Rafe:
"I'm happy for Ari and Brady. I'm just worried that's all."
Sami:
"Worried about what?"
Rafe:
"It all happening so fast. They haven't even been dating long."
Sami:
"Neither have we but we're engaged."
Rafe:
"We've been together longer than them. And they've been apart for awhile."
Sami:
"I know but let's not worry about that. They'll be fine."
Rafe:
"I hope so."
Sami:
"I know so."
Rafe:
"So what brings you and the kids here?"
Sami:
"Just came to say hi."
Rafe and Sami kiss. Not for long. They're interrupted by Natasha.
Natasha:
"Excuse me"
They turn and face her.
Natasha:
"Sorry to interrupt your work. Oh wait, you're not doing any work."
Rafe looks at Sami.
Rafe:
"Excuse me, I'll be right back."
Rafe walks towards Natasha. They then walk out of the office and close the door. Johnny walks over to Rafe's desk.
Sami:
"Bitch"
Sami says under her breath. Sydney starts crying. Sami kneels down to check on her.
Sami:
"What's wrong sweetie?"
Johnny jumps on Rafe's desk. Allie sees.
Allie:
"Mom, Johnny's on Rafe's desk."
Sami stands up and walks over to Johnny.
Sami:
"Johnny get down."
Johnny slips jumps off the desk and knocks over some files. Sami bends down to pick them up. She sees the file labeled "Colleen".
UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL: NURSE'S STATION
Hope:
"I don't mean to interrupt. I'm just here for my therapy session."
Carly:
"Oh yes with Dr. Kristina Moore"
Kristina walks around the corner.
Kristina:
"Did I just hear my name?"
Carly:
"Yes"
Kristina:
"You must be Hope Brady."
Hope:
"Yes well Hope Williams now."
Kristina:
"My apologizes. I will update that in your file. Come with me to my office."
Hope follows Kristina to her office. Carly and Melanie watch as they walk away.
Carly:
"I feel bad for Hope"
Melanie:
"Yeah it's sad but she's getting the help that she needs."
Carly:
"And I stole her husband"
Melanie:
"No you didn't. She and Bo were having problems long before you came back to town."
Carly:
"That's true"
Melanie:
"Okay then. So are you going to ask Bo?"
Carly:
"Yes. Yes I am."
Carly and Melanie smile at one another.
UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL: JAN'S ROOM
Kinsey:
"I know. Isn't it amazing?"
Daniel looks at Kinsey.
Daniel:
"Kinsey, Jan's still in her coma."
Kinsey:
"What? No she's awake. I saw her eyes open."
Daniel:
"You were mistaken."
Kinsey:
"No I wasn't. I know what I saw Dr. Jonas."
Daniel:
"Okay, well maybe it was a reflex."
Kinsey:
"What? What does that mean?"
Daniel:
"Maybe she's reacting to the new drug she was given."
Kinsey:
"So I was right, she's waking up."
Daniel:
"I don't know if she is or not but I can run some test."
Kinsey:
"Ok then. Run the tests. I don't care do whatever."
Daniel:
"I would need your mom's permission."
Kinsey:
"I will call her right now."
Kinsey takes out her phone and calls her mom. Daniel shakes his head.
THE BRADY PUB
Kate:
"You're lying. You didn't do the paternity test yet."
Phillip:
"We already did."
Kate:
"This can't be happening."
Chloe:
"Well it is."
Kate:
"Shut up Chloe."
Kate looks up putting her hands back over her mouth. Then looks back at Chloe and Phillip.
Kate:
"The most decent woman you've ever been with. You just threw it all away for this tramp."
Phillip:
"Hey. You're going to stop talking to Chloe that way first of all. And second of all Melanie is too busy making out with Nathan Horton to care about me."
Kate:
"So you turned to Chloe to satisfy you? You know you're going to be tied to her for the rest of your life? I will have to deal with her for the rest of my life."
Chloe:
"You don't have to be a part of this child's life you know."
Kate:
"Like hell I don't. That baby is going to need all the help he or she is going to need."
Chloe:
"Well he or she doesn't need you."
Kate:
"We'll see about that."
Kate stares Chloe down then walks away. Chloe faces Phillip.
Chloe:
"Well that went well."
Phillip:
"Don't worry. I'll handle my mother."
Kate pulls out her cell to make a call.
Kate:
"Get to the Pub right now."
Kate hangs up.
Kate:
"That bitch."
Nancy and Craig walk back over to Philip and Chloe.
Nancy:
"We're not done talking."
Philip and Chloe sigh.
COLIN'S APARTMENT
Bo, Roman, and Evan enter Colin's apartment.
Bo:
"Alright. Let's spread out and see what we can find. We need to know why Colin faked his death and what else was he up too."
FBI HEADQUARTERS
Natasha:
"So this is how you conduct business? I guess that's why nothing gets done around here."
Rafe:
"I'm sorry but I don't see how the new DA of the Salem PD has anything to do with my FBI business."
Natasha:
"I heard that you have all the contents of Dr. Richard Baker's office."
Rafe:
"Yeah, so."
Natasha:
"He is in our custody and I want to make sure that the charges I'm bringing up on him stick."
Rafe:
"Oh they will. There's nothing that will stop me from putting that man behind bars. This case is going to be air tight."
Sami picks up the file then flashes back to when she showed up at the clinic to give birth. She remembers telling Dr. Baker her name was Colleen. She comes back.
Sami:
"I wonder what's in this file."
Sami opens the file.
UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL: NURSE'S STATION
Melanie is looking into some files when Nathan walks up.
Nathan:
"Hey Melanie."
He says with a smile. Melanie looks up and smiles at him.
Melanie:
"Hey Nathan."
Nathan:
"So did you hear about the hospital benefit?"
Melanie:
"Yeah I have."
Nathan:
"Are you going?"
Melanie:
"Yeah."
Nathan:
"Me too."
Melanie:
"Cool."
Nathan:
"So…umm….do you want to go together?"
Melanie:
"Yes, yes I would."
They smile then hug. Stephanie walks up.
Stephanie:
"Oh my gosh. Get a room."
Melanie and Nathan stop and look at Stephanie.
UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL: JAN'S ROOM
Daniel is viewing Jan's vitals when Sarah enters.
Sarah:
"I'm here. How's Jan?"
Kinsey and Daniel turn to face her.
Kinsey:
"Mom, she woke up. I saw her eyes open and everything but now Dr. Jonas is saying they never were. But I know what I saw."
Sarah:
"Is this true?"
Daniel:
"I'm not sure if Jan woke up or not."
Kinsey:
"I'm not lying. Why would I lie."
Daniel:
"I'm not saying you are Kinsey. I just want to run some test to see if she is reacting to the new drug or was it a reflex."
Sarah:
"Ok that's fine. Do whatever needs to be done Dr. Jonas. I pray that this drug will help my niece and she can finally come back to us."
Daniel:
"I pray also. I'll schedule the test. Hopefully we can do them as soon as possible."
Sarah:
"Thank you Dr. Jonas."
Kinsey:
"Yes thank you Dr. Jonas."
Daniel:
"My pleasure."
Daniel leaves the room.
Kinsey:
"So mom, are you going to ask Dr. Jonas out?"
Sarah gives Kinsey a confused look.
THE BRADY PUB
Phillip:
"Well I'm done for right now. I have a meeting to attend."
Chloe:
"And I need some rest."
Nancy:
"A likely story."
Craig:
"That's fine. We can set up a dinner and we can all meet up and discuss this."
Phillip:
"That sounds great. You guys talk that over and let me know. I gotta get going."
Phillip turns to Chloe and gives her a kiss on her cheek. Chloe blushes as Phillip leaves The Pub.
Nancy:
"I can't believe this is happening."
Craig
"Well it is and we can handle it."
Chloe:
"You guys are making such a big deal out of this."
Nancy:
"Because it is a big deal."
Chloe:
"Well you're stressing me out. So stop it."
Craig:
"Chloe's right, we should all calm down. Let this sink in then plan a dinner to discuss this."
Chloe:
"What's there to discuss really? We're two adults who can handle ourselves."
Nancy:
"Well you two aren't acting like you are."
Chloe:
"I'm going to get some rest."
Chloe leaves the Pub.
Craig turns to Nancy.
Craig:
"Nancy, you need to calm down before you push Chloe away again."
Nancy:
"Fine, I will calm down."
Craig:
"Good"
Nancy:
"While I'm not happy that Phillip is the father, I am happy that I'm going to be a Grandmother."
Craig:
"And I'm happy to be a Grandfather."
Nancy and Craig smile at each other.
FBI HEADQUARTERS
Natasha:
"Just like the one against EJ DiMera?"
Rafe:
"Look Ms. Crane, I don't need you in my face telling what I should be doing. No offense."
Natasha:
"You kinda do and none taken."
Rafe:
"I don't. Maybe you should be at your desk working on your cases? Hmm?"
Natasha:
"I do need to get back to the office and that's not because you told me I should."
Rafe:
"We'll agree to disagree?"
Natasha:
"Whatever, I'll be back."
Rafe:
"Can't wait to see you again."
Natasha and Rafe give each other sly smirks. Natasha turns around and starts to walk away. Rafe turn and opens his office door. Sami quickly closes the file. Natasha stops Rafe.
Natasha:
"Oh and one more thing Agent Hernandez."
Rafe:
"What's that?"
Natasha:
"If you screw this case up for me, you'll be sorry."
Rafe:
"Is that a threat?"
Natasha:
"I don't make threats."
Natasha turns and walks away. Rafe enters his office.
Rafe:
"What's going on in here?"
Sami's in Sydney's diaper bag.
Sami:
"I had to change Sydney's diaper."
Rafe:
"Oh"
Sami:
"Well we have to get going. It's n-a-p time"
Rafe:
"Ah well I'll see you guys later."
Sami:
"Don't work too hard. Love you."
Sami and Rafe kiss before Sami and the kids leave.
UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL: NURSE'S STATION
Melanie:
"Can we help you with something?"
Stephanie:
"Yes, you can stop flirting in public. It's gross."
Nathan:
"Stephanie, I'm sorry about everything."
Stephanie:
"No you're not. You don't care. All you ever wanted with Melanie for whatever reason. And now you have her so that's the end."
Stephanie turns around and runs into Eddie.
Stephanie:
"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry."
Eddie:
"It's fine. I don't mind a beautiful woman running into me."
Stephanie:
"Eddie, right?"
Eddie:
"Yes. Eddie is right, Stephanie."
Eddie looks up.
Eddie:
"Dr. Horton and Nurse Melanie."
Melanie:
"I don't think we met before."
Nathan:
"What are you doing here?"
Nathan says in an angry tone.
Eddie:
"Just here for my check up man, calm down."
Stephanie:
"How are you doing?"
Eddie:
"Much better. Thank you for asking Stephanie."
Stephanie:
"You're welcome."
Eddie:
"Well I will be on my way."
Eddie starts to leave but Stephanie stops him.
Stephanie:
"Eddie, wait."
Eddie stops.
Eddie:
"Yes Stephanie?"
Stephanie:
"Would you like to go to the hospital benefit with me?"
Eddie:
"Wow, yeah sure. Why not?"
Stephanie:
"Thanks."
Eddie:
"You're welcome."
Stephanie:
"We can meet up later. Say the Pub and talk about details."
Eddie:
"I would like that very much."
Stephanie:
"Well I need to get back to work. See you around 7?"
Eddie:
"Can't wait."
Eddie smiles as Stephanie walks away. He smiles at Nathan, who give him a dirty look, before leaving.
Melanie:
"What was that all about?"
Nathan looks over at Melanie.
UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL: JAN'S ROOM
Sarah:
"What do you mean? Dr. Jonas is engaged."
Kinsey:
"Not anymore."
Sarah:
"And you know this because?"
Kinsey:
"Because I heard some nurses whispering about it. Chloe cheated on him with Phillip Kiriakis and is having his baby."
Sarah:
"You shouldn't gossip Kinsey and I'm not going to ask Dr. Jonas out."
Kinsey starts to giggle.
Sarah:
"What?"
Daniel clears his throat. Sarah nervously turns around.
Sarah:
"Dr. Jonas, hey."
Daniel:
"Hey…um…so we can start the testing right now. We won't get the result until later. So if you had something else to do you can leave and I'll give you a call when they come in."
Sarah:
"Yes, I..umm…yes. I need to check back in with work. So I'm going to do that."
Sarah rushes out. Kinsey smiles. Daniel smiles and then leaves the room.
UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL: WAITING ROOM
Hope and Kristina walk in.
Hope:
"Thank you for meeting with me today."
Kristina:
"My pleasure. Sorry it was a shorter session today. Next time we will have more time."
Hope:
"That's fine. I have some things that I need to take care of so I'll see you next week."
Kristina:
"Yes. And you take care."
Hope:
"Will do."
Kristina walks out of the room. Carly walks in. Carly sees Hope.
Carly:
"Oh I'm sorry. I hope I'm not interrupting."
Hope:
"You're not. I was just leaving."
Hope walks out. Carly sighs.
COLIN'S APARTMENT
Bo finds a box filled with files. He picks one up and opens it up.
Bo:
"Roman, take a look at this."
Roman walks over to him.
Bo:
"Photos of Nicole."
Roman:
"It looks like Colin was after Nicole."
Evan enters the room holding a box.
Evan:
"I believe this is the gun that was used to shoot Sami."
Roman and Bo walk over and look at the gum.
Roman:
"It is. That son of a bitch."
Bo:
"He wasn't aiming at Sami. He was aiming at Nicole."
Evan:
"Dr. Murphy was trying to kill Nicole Walker?"
Bo:
"I think I know why."
Bo holds up a picture he found in the file. It's of Stefano DiMera.
THE PUB
Stefano walks into The Pub. Kate looks over.
Kate:
"Darling, what brings you here?"
She walks over to him and him a kiss.
Stefano:
"I could ask you the same. I thought you were going into work."
Kate:
"I was but got distracted."
Stefano:
"By what?"
Victor walks in.
Kate:
"Chloe Lane."
Victor:
"What about that tart?"
Kate and Stefano look over at Victor as he walks up to them.
Kate:
"Finally you showed up."
Victor:
"I was busy. What is the emergency?"
Kate:
"Chloe and Phillip took the paternity test."
Victor:
"And?"
Kate stews.
Victor:
"Don't say it."
Kate:
"Phillip is the father."
Victor and Stefano are shocked.
UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL: NURSE'S STATION
Nathan:
"Eddie is not a good person. Stephanie shouldn't have asked him out."
Melanie:
"Well I think Stephanie is big enough to take care of herself."
Nathan:
"I don't know about that."
Melanie:
"Well…I have rounds so. I'll see you later."
Nathan watches as Melanie walks away.
Nathan:
"This isn't going to happen. I need to end this."
LUCAS' HOUSE
After putting the kids down for a nap, Sami is alone in the living room. She goes into Sydney's diaper bag and pulls out the file she stole from Rafe's office. She takes a deep breath then opens it up.
Sami:
"I wonder what Dr. Baker has one me and Sydney."
Sami starts scanning the pages then she stops. Her eyes widen.
Sami:
"Oh my gosh. This can't be true."
She begins to breath heavily.
Sami:
"It can't be. It just can't be."
She starts to cry.
