Sami is folding clothes when Lucas comes home. He walks through the door and she rushes over to him.
Sami:
"Finally you're home."
Lucas:
"Sorry, I was in a meeting then I ran into my mother."
Sami:
"Hopefully with a car."
Lucas:
"No at the hospital."
Sami:
"Why was Kate at the hospital? Please tell me she's dying."
THE PUB
Philip and Chloe walk into The Pub. They walk over to a table and Phillip pulls a chair out for Chloe. Chloe sits down.
Chloe:
"Why thank you."
Phillip sits across from her.
Phillip:
"You're welcome."
Chloe:
"Such a gentleman."
Phillip:
"I aim to please."
Phillip picks up a menu.
Chloe:
"As many times as we've been here, you still look at the menu."
Phillip smiles.
REX AND MIMI'S APARTMENT
Rex brings some bags and places them on the floor in the living room while Mimi is sealing one last box.
Rex:
"That's the last of the bags in the room."
Mimi turns around to face Rex.
Mimi:
"And that's the last box that needed tape."
Rex:
"This is real. We're really moving back to Salem."
Mimi:
"I can't believe it. After all this time and after everything that has happened."
Rex:
"Yeah I know. We have a lot of explaining to do."
Mimi:
"Yeah. Are we sure we're ready?"
STEPHANIE'S APARTMENT
Stephanie stands stunned over Eddie's body. She flashes back to what happened.
Stephanie:
"Oh my gosh. I killed him."
She backs away slowly then rushes out the door. Someone is lurking in the shadows.
LUCAS' HOUSE
Lucas:
"No she's fine. Now what happened with Will?"
Sami:
"He is still seeing that little, ugh, Mia McCormick."
Lucas:
"Yeah I know. My mom told me."
Sami:
"And you two are ok with this?"
Lucas:
"No actually we aren't. My mom said we need to do something or else she will."
Sami:
"Actually that's perfect. Sick Kate on her. Kate will send her running for the hills."
Lucas shakes his head in disbelief.
THE PUB
Phillip:
"Yeah that is very true."
Chloe:
"I think I'm in the mood for a burger and fries."
Phillip:
"I think I'll have the same."
Phillip and Chloe smile at one another.
Phillip:
"I'll put the order in."
Phillip stands up.
Phillip:
"Coke?"
Chloe:
"Yes please."
Phillip gives her the thumbs up and walks over the counter to place the order. Chloe smiles as she watches him walk away. Her phone rings, interrupting her. She pulls her phone out of her purse. It's Nicole.
Chloe:
"Nicole? Hey. I'm having dinner with Phillip right now. Yeah sure we can have lunch tomorrow. Great. Bye"
Phillip walks back over with 2 cokes. He places one in front of her.
Chloe:
"Thank you."
Phillip sits down and places the other in front of him.
Phillip:
"You're welcome."
Chloe takes a sip.
Phillip:
"You know that my offer still stands."
Chloe:
"What offer?"
Phillip:
"To sing at the benefit."
Chloe smiles.
REX & MIMI'S APARTMENT
Rex:
"Yes, I am ready. I want to be around family."
Mimi:
"I know what you mean. I want to be closer to my mom. I'm so worried the DiMera's are gonna go after her."
Rex:
"That's not going to happen. I'm going to talk to Stefano when get home."
Mimi:
"Are you sure that'll work?"
Rex:
"Yes it will. He is married to my mother after all."
Mimi:
"Your mom isn't going to be happy that we're getting married."
Rex:
"She'll just have to deal with it."
Rex pulls Mimi in for a kiss. They're interrupted by their son.
Son:
"Mommy, Daddy!"
He rushes in. Rex and Mimi turn to him.

"Hey Tyler."
LUCAS' HOUSE
Sami picks some toys off the floor and places them on the table.
Lucas:
"You must really hate this girl if you're willing to sick my mother on her."
Sami:
"You have a better idea?"
Lucas:
"Not yet, but I'm thinking about it."
Sami:
"Good. You know that little bitch had the nerve to show up here. Like I'm so pissed with Will right now."
Lucas:
"What did you do?"
Sami:
"I grounded him until he breaks up with her."
Lucas:
"What, is he in his room? I'm going to talk to him right now."
Lucas starts to walk away, but Sami stops him.
Sami:
"No he's not there."
Lucas turns back around.
Lucas:
"Okay then where is he now?"
Sami:
"I don't know."
Lucas:
"I think you need to look up the definition of grounded."
Sami:
"It's not like I just let him go. He walked out and slammed the door."
Lucas pulls out his phone and calls Will.
Sami:
"You can call Will all you want, but he's not going to answer."
Lucas:
"Oh, he'll answer for him."
The call goes to voicemail.
Lucas:
"Hey Will, it's your dad. Give me a call when you get this."
Lucas hangs up.
Sami:
"I thought he was going to pick up for you?"
Lucas:
"Well he didn't."
Sami puts her hands on her hips.
THE PUB
Chloe:
"Oh yeah. No I don't want to."
Phillip:
"Why not?"
Chloe:
"I feel like everyone is going to be judging me."
Phillip:
"So what? It's for a good cause."
Chloe:
"Well…"
Phillip:
"And it's a good way to make some extra money."
Chloe:
"I could use some extra money."
Phillip:
"Great then it's settled. You're singing at the benefit."
Chloe:
"Yes, I'm going to sing at the benefit."
Phillip picks up his glass.
Phillip:
"Cheers."
Chloe raises her glass.
Chloe:
"Cheers."
They cling glasses as Belle walks in. She sees and smiles. Phillip notices her.
REX & MIMI'S APARTMENT
Tyler:
"Where are we going?"
Mimi kneels down to his level.
Mimi:
"We're going a town called Salem."
Tyler:
"Cool. So how long are we going to stay there?"
Mimi:
"We're going to be living there."
Tyler:
"Why?"
Rex:
"Because our family lives there."
Tyler:
"Family?"
Rex:
"Yeah Grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles."
Tyler:
"Sounds cool."
Mimi:
"It will be."
Tyler:
"Oh I forgot my action figures."

"Okay go get them. We're about to leave."
Tyler rushes back to his room. Mimi stands up.
Rex:
"Yeah it should be fun. Explaining to everyone how we got Tyler."

THE PARK
Evan's is patrolling the park when Stephanie rushes up to him screaming.
Stephanie:
"HELP!"
Evan turns around.
Evan:
"What's wrong miss?"
Stephanie:
"I think I killed him."
Evan:
"Who?"
Stephanie:
"Eddie Saunders."
Evan's stunned.
Evan:
"Calm down miss. Where is the body?"
Stephanie:
"At my apartment."
Evan:
"Do you live in that building right there?"
Stephanie turns around as Evan points to the building. Then looks back at him.
Stephanie:
"Yes."
Evan:
"What's your apartment number?"
Stephanie:
"114"
Evan gets on radio and calls for help.
Evan:
"I need a bus to Salem Towers. Apartment number 147."
Stephanie hugs Evan.
Evan:
"It's okay."
He hugs her back slightly.
Evan:
"And some back up. We have a possible dead body."
SALEM PD
Bo walked into the Salem PD. Natasha walks up to him.
Natasha:
"Commissioner Brady."
Bo:
"Yes DA Crane."
Natasha:
"Nice work on the Colin Murphy case. It's almost a closed case."
Bo:
"Almost?"
Natasha:
"I suspect foul play in his death."
Bo:
"Oh yeah that was determined he died from complications during his surgery."
Natasha searches through the file in her hand.
Natasha:
"Where does it say that?"
Bo:
"Last page."
Natasha flips to the last page.
Natasha:
"And there it is."
She looks at Bo and smiles. He smiles back.
Natasha:
"Well I'll be following up with Dr. Walters."
Bo:
"You do that."
Shawn rushes in.
Shawn:
"Dad"
Bo turns around.
Shawn:
"There's something going on at Stephanie's apartment."
Bo:
"Like what?"
Shawn:
"A dead body is reported to be there."
Bo:
"Oh my gosh."
Bo turns to Natasha.
Bo:
"We have to finish this later."
Natasha:
"Yeah go."
Bo and Shawn take off.
LUCAS' HOUSE
Sami:
"Will is out of control. You need to do something about him. I can't. He won't listen to me and I have enough to deal with between the kids and EJ lurking. Not to mention Rafe is working a lot of hours and…"
Sami pauses.
Lucas:
"Baker's confession?"
Sami:
"Yeah, it's a lot to deal with."
Lucas:
"I'm gonna to find Will and talk to him. Figure out a way to deal with this Mia situation."
Sami hugs Lucas.
Sami:
"Thank you Lucas."
Lucas hugs her back.
Lucas:
"You're welcome."
THE PUB
Phillip:
"Belle, hey."
Belle walks over.
Chloe:
"Hey Belle"
Belle:
"Hey guys."
Phillip:
"Your shifts over already?"
Belle:
"Oh no I have a couple more hours left. I just came to grab some coffee. The hospital coffee is pretty bad."
Phillip:
"That's the truth. How about I get you one. My treat."
Belle:
"Thank you Phillip, I'll take you up on that offer."
Phillip:
"I'll be right back."
Phillip gets up to get Belle's coffee. Belle sits in his seat.
Belle:
"So what are you and Phillip celebrating?"
Chloe:
"Nothing."
Belle:
"What was the toast or whatever for?"
Chloe:
"I'm going to sing at the hospital benefit."
Belle:
"Yeah. You finally agreed."
Chloe:
"Yeah you know Phillip. So persistent when he really wants something."
Belle:
"I think this is a good thing. So what are you going to sing?"
Chloe laughs.
Chloe:
"I just accepted the offer. I haven't thought of anything yet."
Belle:
"Well if you need any suggestions, call me."
Chloe:
"I will."
Phillip walks back over.
Phillip:
"Here's your coffee."
He hands the coffee to Belle.
Belle:
"Thanks."
Chloe:
"I'll be right back. I need to use the bathroom."
Chloe stands up.
Belle:
"The joys of being pregnant."
Chloe laughs and walks to the bathroom.
Belle:
"That's great that you got Chloe to sing at the benefit."
Phillip:
"Me too. It would have been hard to explain to Fredrick Miller that the singer he's crazy about wasn't going to perform as promised."
REX & MIMI'S APARTMENT
Rex:
"And isn't he's having a kid with Chloe?"
Mimi:
"Yes. Yes he is. Let the drama begin."
Rex:
"Yeah it's going to be interesting."

THE PARK
Evan:
"Do you want to sit down?"
Stephanie:
"I don't know."
Evan:
"Do you want to tell me what happened?"
Bo and Shawn rush up to Evan and Stephanie.
Bo:
"Stephanie!"

"Uncle Bo."
Stephanie walks up to him.
Bo:
"What happened?"
Stephanie:
"Eddie..he tried to…"
Bo:
"Try to what?"
Stephanie:
"I hit him over the head with my lamp. I think he's dead."
Bo's shocked.
Bo:
"Um..Shawn, Evan. You guys go check it out. I'm going to take Stephanie to the station."
Shawn:
"Okay."
Shawn walks away. Evan starts to, but stops to look back at Stephanie who hugs Bo. Then he continues following Shawn.
LUCAS' HOUSE
They stop hugging.
Sami:
"So why was Kate at the hospital anyways?"
Lucas:
"She was there with Stefano and Chad getting a DNA test done."
Sami:
"Why?"
Lucas:
"Because Chad is EJ's son"
Sami:
"What? How? When? What the?"
Lucas:
"That's something I do need to fill you in on."
Sami:
"Okay?"
Lucas:
"Will and Mia went snooping in Colin's apartment and found Chad's birth certificate naming EJ DiMera as his biological father."
Sami:
"Why the hell were they there?"
Lucas:
"I will find that out."
Sami:
"Colin is the one that shot me. My dad came over earlier and told me."
Lucas:
"Why would Colin want to kill you?"
Sami:
"He didn't. He was aiming for Nicole."
Lucas:
"Well he should definitely keep his day job."
Sami smirks.
Sami:
"Yeah. So with Chad being EJ's son. Maybe EJ will be too wrapped up in that to harass me."
Lucas:
"I wouldn't bet on it."
THE PUB
Phillip takes a sip of his drink.
Belle:
"Who?"
Phillip:
"A very talented music producer."
Belle:
"Oh."
Phillip:
"He wants to work with Chloe. I promised he would sing at the benefit. It was the only way to agree for him to come. They're going to donate a lot of money to the hospital."
Belle:
"Well that is all good and all but don't you think you should tell Chloe about this?"
Phillip:
"No way. Then she'll be all nervous. She loves Fredrick Miller's work. I'll tell her after she sings."
Chloe walks back over.
Belle:
"Well I better get back to the hospital. See you guys later."
Phillip & Chloe:
"Bye."
Chloe:
"What were you two talking about?"
Phillip smiles showing off his dimples.
Phillip:
"Oh nothing."
REX & MIMI'S APARTMENT
Rex:
"Us working at the hospital with Belle and Philip's ex. Yeah I think you're right."
Tyler rushes back in with his box of action figures.
Tyler:
"I'm ready."
Mimi:
"Alright, let's go."
Rex:
"Goodbye New York City."
Mimi:
"Hello Salem USA."
STEPHANIE'S APARTMENT
Shawn and Evan enter Stephanie's apartment. EMT's and forensics are on the scene. Eddie's body still on the floor covered in blood.
Shawn:
"So what happened here?"
Evan:
"Is he?"
EMT:
"Dead? Yes. Looks like blunt force trauma to the head, but we won't know for sure till the autopsy. The only think I know for sure besides the fact that he's dead is that he must have really pissed off his attacker."
The EMT looks at the other EMT.
EMT:
"Let's load him up and get him to the morgue."
Evan and Shawn look at each other.
SALEM PD
Bo and Stephanie walk into the station.
Bo:
"Go ahead in my office. I'll be right back."
Stephanie:
"Okay."
Stephanie walks into Bo's office and sits at his desk. Bo pulls out his phone and makes a call.
Bo:
"Hey Justin, it's Bo. I know it's late, but I'm going to need you to come down to the station. I'll explain when you get here."
While sitting at Bo's desk, Stephanie notices a tape on there. She picks it up.
Stephanie:
"Hospital garage."
She flashes back to what Eddie said.
Stephanie:
"Why are you laughing?"
Eddie:
"Because you think Nathan cares about you."
Stephanie:
"What makes you think he doesn't? Why else would he not like that we're hanging out?"
Eddie:
"Because he loves that Melanie chick too much. I mean if you know what he has done to keep her out of jail."
Stephanie:
"What did Nathan do?"
Eddie:
"Melanie is the one that ran down that DiMera chick and I helped cover it up."
Stephanie is shocked. Eddie starts laughing.
Eddie:
"And you know the funniest part about this is? You're the bargaining chip to keep me silent."
Stephanie comes back with the tape in hand.
Stephanie:
"This proves that Melanie ran down Nicole."
She takes the tape and sticks it in the bottom drawer of Bo's desk under some files.
Stephanie:
"You stay there…for now."
