That was the only color I could see, the only kind of light that could reach my eyes. As I let the wolf take over I could feel his excitement, his pleasure and bloodlust. Ready for the woods. But I couldn't indulge in the happiness he was feeling. For as my heart was in despair. Physically I couldn't feel anything, but emotionally it was a hold different course. My heart felt as it was getting repeatedly stabbed with a knife at Neisse's betrayal. But was it betrayal? I am her imprint, the one person who is supposed to be there through anything whether as her friend, lover or confidant.

I don't remember how long I was in the woods. Nor do I remember ever seeing another human life. My pattern was Eat. Sleep. Run. Eat. Sleep. Run. I stopped hearing my pack after the first couple of full moons. It was such an joy to be able to think alone in my wolf-form for the first time. To be able to process full thought without some smart-ass Leah adding her two cents in. That was truly indeed a most welcomed gift.

As I felt my paw hitting the ground, the dirt in my paw I thought about how much I had run. Seeing the signs "You've just left Oregon" Or "Welcome to Wyoming". After South Dakota I stopped keeping interest. As of now I didn't have an exact clue as to where I was. The only thing that I knew was that it was somewhere down south because of the heavy presence that the sun had on my fur. This was good. That meant fewer bloodsuckers which were all I could hope for nowadays…

As I jumped over a small pond I was assaulted with a strange sweet scent that I knew all too well. Vampires. What the fuck! I thought to myself. I was way too far south to be in contact with any of their kind. Well at least I thought. As I came to an abrupt halt, I tilted my snout in the air I smelt blood and its scent was heavy. As I dug my paws into the dirt I launched myself at my top speed. I was fully preparing my mind for a fight. One that was most welcomed. I tracked the smell at least two miles south of my previous location. As I finally slowed down to a halt I looked at an open field compound. Inside there were vampires. My canine senses picked up three vampires and one human. Though if my hearing was correct the human's heart beat was rapidly decreasing which was bad. With no thought my of my well being I leapt forward knocking down the front door.

But to my surprise there was no one in the front room. I took a moment to gather my bearings and to look around but there was nothing nor no one in the room or the house for that matter. But what happened to the voices? I Asked myself. I walked around the room pacing back and forth, thoroughly puzzled at the scene that had just unfolded. I was tempted to shift o my human form. But my instincts just told me to get out of this place and never come back. I did one more three sixty then headed toward the broken down door frame.

As I made my exit out of the mysterious house, I heard a male voice with a heavy accent command say "Grab It". I barely had the chance to look over my shoulder before I was assaulted by three small bodies. Surprised I through my body forward but it was to late. One leech had an hold on my left hind leg another had my torso and the strongest one who I realized must be the male was trying to make a grab for my throat.

I tried top fight them off but the male bloodsucker was making that considerable hard with his strength blocking the air from getting through my wind pipes. As I was losing my breath and consciousness all I remember hearing was "Mhmm there you go little wolf...Go to sleep Labato.
