Rex and Mimi, with a sleeping Tyler in her arms, walk up to the Pub. Before going in, Mimi looks through the window. Rex notices.
Rex
"What are you doing?"
Mimi
"Making sure no one we know is inside especially Phillip. I'm not ready to explain how I ended up with our son."
Rex
"Well?"
Mimi stops looking and walks towards him.
Mimi
"Well what?"
Rex
"Is there anyone there?"
Mimi
"No. It's pretty empty actually."
Rex
"So we can go in now?"
Mimi
"Yes."
Rex and Mimi walk in with Tyler. They get to the counter as Caroline is coming out.
Caroline
"Rex, oh my goodness. I'm so happy you're home finally."
She walks over and they hug. She notices Mimi and Tyler.
Caroline
"Mimi, nice to see you as well and who is this?"
Rex
"This is the son we adopted."
Caroline
"Oh you didn't mention that before."
Rex
"Is that a problem?"
Caroline
"Heavens no. Having another great grandchild is awesome. The more the merrier. So does this mean you two are getting married?"
Rex
"Yes we are."
Caroline smiles.
Caroline
"I'm so happy for you two. I really am."
Mimi
"Thank you Caroline."
Caroline
"Well your room is all ready. I need to go check on the pie."
Rex
"Thanks Grandma."
Caroline
"You're welcome."
Caroline walks back into the kitchen.
Rex
"Why don't you go up and put Tyler down while I get the rest of the stuff out of the car?"
Mimi
"Ok. I will."
Rex and Mimi give each other a quick kiss before heading upstairs with Tyler. Rex watches them go upstairs till he couldn't see them anymore then turns around and bumps in Chloe.
Rex & Chloe
"Oh sorry."
They pause.
Chloe
"Rex, oh my gosh. Hey."
Rex
"Hey."
They hug.
Chloe
"It's been forever. How are you?"
Rex
"Yeah it has been. I'm great. How about you? Mimi told me that you're pregnant."
Chloe
"Mimi? You two are talking again?"
Rex
"Yeah, but uh we're doing more than just talking."
Chloe
"Are you two back together?"
Rex
"Yes. Yes we are."
Chloe
"That's great. I'm happy for you two really."
Rex
"Thank you. That's 2 for 2."
Chloe
"I wasn't the first to know? I'm hurt."
Chloe jokes. Rex giggles.
Rex
"We just got finished talking with my Grandma."
Chloe
"So how long are you guys staying in Salem?"
Rex
"Indefinitely."
Chloe
"That's awesome news. I know Belle will be excited. Me as well as others I'm sure."
Rex
"We're excited to reconnect with everyone again."
Chloe
"That's good. I'm glad."
Rex
"Thanks. Well I'm going to get the rest of our stuff so maybe we can meet up later?"
Chloe
"Oh yes. There's a hospital benefit tomorrow night. I'm going to singing. You guys should come out."
Rex
"You're still singing?"
Chloe
"I haven't in awhile, but Phillip set it up so I had to agree so he would get off my back."
Rex
"I see nothing has changed about Phillip."
They laugh.
Chloe
"Well, see you later."
Rex
"See ya."
Chloe leaves. Upstairs, Mimi walks out her room and closes the door. Belle walks up behind her.
Belle
"Mimi?"
Mimi turns around and smiles.
Mimi
"Hey Belle."
Belle
"I'm so glad you're back in town."
Belle holds out her arms for a hug. Mimi smiles and hugs her.

"I'm glad too."
They stop hugging each other.
Belle
"Please tell me you're going to be staying longer this time."
Mimi
"Yes. Yes we will be."
Belle
"We? Who's we?"
Mimi
"Rex and I."
Belle
"Oh my gosh. You two are back together?"
Mimi
"Yeah."
Belle looks at Mimi's left hand and notices her ring. She grabs her hand.
Belle
"Not just dating. You two are engaged."
Mimi smiles.
Mimi
"Yep we are."
Belle
"I'm so happy for you guys. After everything. Being able to work everything out."
Mimi
"It wasn't easy but it just happened and I know this time I'm not going to make the same mistakes again."
Belle
"Good. Now that you're in town you can help stubborn Phillip and Chloe get back together."
Mimi
"Definitely. I need to get back to moving our stuff in so..."
Belle moves closer to the door.
Belle
"Let me help."
Mimi stops her by blocking the door.

Belle looks confused. Downstairs, Rex brings in a couple of bags and puts them by the stairs just as Shawn walks in. Rex turns around to go back outside when they notice each other.
Shawn
"Rex?"

"Shawn?"

"Long time no see cuz."
They give each other high fives.
Rex
"Yes it has been."
Shawn
"When did you get in town?"
Rex
"Just a little while ago. I'm going to be staying here till I find a place."
Shawn
"So that means you'll be around for awhile."
Rex
"For good. I don't want to leave Salem again."
Shawn
"Neither do Belle and me so this is awesome. It'll be like old times."
Rex
"I don't know about that, but hopefully we get back to that."
Shawn
"Why couldn't we get back to the way we used to be? If you and Mimi have worked out everything."
Rex
"We have."
Shawn
"Then what else is there to worry about?"
Rex thinks for a moment.
Rex
"Nothing I can think of."
Shawn
"Alright then. So do you need any help?"
Rex
"No I'm good."
Shawn
"Are you sure? I'm on break. I can help with a few bags."
Rex
"Yeah I'm sure. But you can help us move into our permanent place when we find one."
Shawn
"Alright. You hold me to that."
Rex
"Will do."
Shawn
"It's great seeing you again."
Rex
"Likewise."
Rex heads outside as Shawn walks towards the counter. Nathan walks out. He seems distracted. Shawn notices.
Shawn
"Hey Nathan, are you alright?"
Nathan flashes back to what Stephanie said to him.
Stephanie
"So you're going to go to Melanie and break things off with her or my Uncle Bo gets this tape plus all the other evidence that Eddie has on you in his safe deposit box. Not only would you 2 go to jail, but still will have to deal with the DiMeras."
Nathan stares madly at Stephanie.
Stephanie
"Paybacks are a bitch, aren't they Nathan?"
Nathan
"Yeah, I'm looking right at one."
Stephanie puts her hands on her chest.
Stephanie
"Wow that really hurt my feelings."
She drops them then points to the door.
Stephanie
"The choice is yours. Now get out."
She drops them then points to the door.

Nathan comes back as Shawn is waving his hand in his face.
Shawn
"Earth to Nathan."
Nathan
"Oh hey Shawn."
Shawn
"Are you okay? Where were you just now?"
Nathan
"Thinking about something that I need to take care of."
Shawn
"Anything I can help you with?"
Nathan
"No, I'm good. But can I get you anything?"
Shawn
"Sure a coffee."
Nathan
"Coming right up."
Nathan gets Shawn a coffee. Shawn seems suspicious of Nathan.
Nathan hands Shawn his coffee. Shawn gives him the money.
Shawn
"Thanks man."
Shawn starts to walk away, but stops and turns around.
Shawn
"If you need any help with anything, just let me know. We're family after all."
Nathan
"I'll keep that in mind. Thanks."
Shawn
"You're welcome."
Shawn turns back around and walks out the door.
Nathan
"There's something I have to do, but I really don't want to. How did my life get so messed up?"
Nathan takes a deep breath and starts to clean off the bar. Rex comes back in with some more bags then heads upstairs. Back upstairs, Belle is confused as to why Mimi doesn't want her help.
Belle
"Why are you blocking the door?"
Mimi pauses.
Belle
"What's wrong?"
Mimi
"Oh it's just...it's a mess in there and I don't want you to fall or anything."
Belle giggles.
Belle
"It's fine. I'll be careful. I promise."
Belle moves closer to the door again. Mimi doesn't move.
Belle
"Mimi, it's like you're hiding something from me."
Rex walks up.
Rex
"Hey, what's going on?"
Belle and Mimi look over at Rex. Belle smiles.
Belle
"Rex!"
She hugs him causing him to drops some bags.
Belle
"Whoops. Sorry."
Rex
"It's cool."
Belle
"I'm so happy you two are back together."
Mimi walks over.
Rex
"So am I."
Rex says as he puts his arm around her. Belle puts her together close to her mouth.
Belle
"Aww...this is so cute. I love it."
Rex and Mimi smile.
Belle
"Don't ever break up again. Okay?"
Mimi
"We promise."
Rex and Mimi kiss.
Belle
"Good."
Belle's phone rings. She looks at the id.
Belle
"It's the hospital."
Belle answers.
Belle
"Hello? Yes. I'll be right there."
Belle hangs up.
Mimi
"Is everything ok? Are you sick?"
Belle
"Oh no. I work there. I'm a nurse."
Mimi
"Wow really? Me too."
Belle
"Shut up! YAY! Now we will have more time to catch up. See you guys later."
Mimi
"See ya."
Belle heads to the hospital. Mimi waits for Belle to leave then confronts Rex.

"Belle was trying to go into the room."

"Why?"

"To help move stuff."

"Well Mimi, we can't keep this a secret forever or even much longer."

"I know. I just want to talk to Phillip first."

"Well then I think it's time you go talk to him."

At the hospital, Melanie is trying to carry some files when she trips and falls scattering the files all over the floor. Phillip bends over and helps her. She looks over at him.
Melanie
"Thank you."
Phillip helps Melanie up with all the files.
Phillip
"You're welcome."
Phillip has a folder with their divorce papers in his hands. Melanie puts the files on the desk then turns around to see the folder.
Melanie
"What's that?"
Phillip
"Our divorce papers."
Melanie
"Oh."
Phillip
"Yeah."
