EJ's in the living room pouring his self something to drink when Nicole walks in ready for the benefit in a skin tight cream colored dress with a plunging neckline and crystal like sequins all around.
Nicole
"Hey have you seen my mask?"
EJ
"It's on the table."
EJ swallows him drink in one gulp not even noticing Nicole. She walks over to get her mask.
Nicole
"Perfect. I'm ready."
She looks over at EJ.
Nicole
"How do I look?"
EJ looks at her. He's breathless.
EJ
"Absolutely beautiful."
Nicole smiles.
Nicole
"Good. I bet this dress will make Brady jealous."
EJ
"Who cares what Brady Black thinks?"
Nicole
"I do."
EJ
"Well he should be jealous, but he's married to Arianna not even thinking about you."
Nicole
"He is. This is could be his baby."
EJ
"It could be ours."
Nicole
"Yes and that's the only reason why I'm here. The second you find out that this baby is Brady's you'll toss me out."
EJ
"No I won't."
Nicole
"And I'm supposed to believe that?"
EJ
"Believe it or don't believe it. It's the truth. I want you regardless of who the father is."
Nicole is surprised.
Nicole
"Why?"
EJ
"Because the baby is a part of you and well I like you."
Nicole smiles.
Nicole
"EJ DiMera, are you saying that you have fallen for me?"
EJ
"Don't push it."
He smiles back at her then pulls a box out of his jacket pocket. Nicole's eyes light up.
Nicole
"What's that?"
EJ
"I have something that will go great with that dress."
He opens it and it's a diamond necklace.
Nicole
"Wow, it's so beautiful."
EJ takes it out and puts it around her neck.
Nicole
"Thank you."
EJ steps back to look at her.
EJ
"I was right. Perfect."
Nicole smiles.
EJ
"Let's go."
Nicole
"Let's."
EJ and Nicole head out to the benefit. At Stephanie's Nathan is curious about what Stephanie has to tell him.
Nathan
"Melanie's accident?"
Stephanie
"Yeah"
Nathan
"What about it?"
Stephanie flashes back to what Nathan said before.
Nathan
"You can stop me and Melanie from seeing each other. We work together and she lives with my grandmother. This is temporary anyways. So get over yourself and leave me alone."
She comes back.
Nathan
"What do you have to say about the accident?"
Stephanie
"Just that I saw the video and all I can say is wow."
Nathan
"Wow? You wasted my time for that?"
Stephanie
"Yeah because I can't believe that someone could run over another human being even Nicole Walker and just leave them there to die. Then another person would come along and cover up for that person. You and Melanie are disgusting."
Nathan
"Oh and you're so pure and innocent?"
Stephanie smiles. Nathan shakes his head then leaves.
Stephanie
"Whatever. I'm going to get ready."
At Maggie's, Maggie takes pictures of Will and Mia. Will is irritated.
Will
"Come on Aunt Maggie."
Maggie
"Ok just one more. I promised your Grandpa Bill I'd send him lots of pics."
Will
"Ok one more."
Maggie
"Ok say cheese."
Maggie takes the picture.
Maggie
"Perfect. You guys are so cute together."
Will
"You seem to be the only one that thinks so."
Maggie
"I am? Why's that?"
Mia
"Sami and Kate don't seem to like me very much."
Maggie
"Those two don't like very much of anything so don't you worry about them Mia."
Mia
"Thank you Maggie. You're so sweet."
Melanie walks downstairs.
Melanie
"And you sound so fake."
Mia, Will, and Maggie look over at Melanie who's all dress for the benefit in a strapless dress with multi colored sequins and green lace around the bottom.
Mia
"Where did you get your outfit from? Under the sea? Because you look like The Little Mermaid."
Melanie looks at Mia's dress which a black and pink ultra mini with a lacey tutu.
Melanie
"And where did you get yours from? Sluts R Us?"
Mia
"How original."
Melanie gets in Mia's face.
Maggie
"Stop it you two."
Maggie's phone rings. She answers.
Maggie
"Hello? Yes this is she. Ok hold on one moment."
Maggie takes the phone off of her ear and holds it to her chest.
Maggie
"I'm going to take this in the living room. No more fighting."
Maggie starts talking in her phone again as she leaves the room.
Mia
"Are you still mad about that text, aren't you?"
Melanie
"Do you really think my opinion of you has changed since then?"
Mia
"What does it matter? You didn't want Phillip anyways. You wanted Nathan. You couldn't even wait for the ink to dry on your divorce papers before you jumped in bed with Nathan."
Melanie
"What I do is none of your business."
Mia
"But I'm right."
Melanie
"No you're not. Will, get your bitch."
Mia
"Who are you calling a bitch?"
Mia tries to attack Melanie, but Will holds her back. Melanie taunts her.
Melanie
"Put em up put em up"
Will
"Let's go Mia."
Mia
"No let me at her."
Will drags Mia out the door. Melanie laughs and waves.
Melanie
"Stupid child."
Melanie laughs as she goes to the corner to look through her purse to leave. She turns around and sees Nathan. They stare at one another.
Nathan
"You look beautiful."
Melanie
"What are you doing here?"
Nathan
"No thank you, Nathan?"
Melanie
"Thank you, Nathan. Now, what are you doing here?"
Nathan
"I'm here to get ready for the benefit if that's ok with you."
Melanie
"Why? Is Stephanie hogging the bathroom or something?"
Nathan
"My suit's here ok. It would just make better sense for me to get ready here since it's here and I'm here now. And the benefit starts soon and I don't want to be late. Ok?"
Melanie
"It's fine with me. I'm just leaving."
Melanie picks up her mask then leaves. Nathan kicks a chair. Maggie walks in.
Maggie
"Is everything ok? Where's Melanie?"
Nathan
"Yeah and she just left."
Maggie
"Something's wrong. Did you two get into a fight?"
Nathan
"It's nothing."
Maggie
"It's obviously something. You kicked my chair."
Nathan
"Melanie's mad that I'm taking Stephanie to the benefit."
Maggie
"Why on earth are you taking Stephanie and when you love Melanie?"
Nathan
"It's complicated."
Maggie
"Well uncomplicate it because you're going to come into my house and kick my chair over something that is your own doing."
Nathan
"I know and I'm very sorry Grandma."
Maggie
"Don't you screw this up with Melanie. I know you two are so in love with each other. Don't let your, whatever, it is with Stephanie interfere with that."
Nathan
"You're right and I'm going to anymore."
Maggie
"Good because I don't think my chair could take another hit."
Maggie smiles. Nathan smiles back.
Nathan
"I'm going to get ready. Are you going?"
Maggie
"I wasn't going to, but I feel I need to. If only to make sure that you and Melanie make up before the night is over."
Nathan
"We will. I promise."
Maggie
"Good. Now I can go upstairs and see what I can find to put on."
Maggie heads upstairs.
Nathan
"I need to tell Melanie the truth about everything."
At the Kiriakis Mansion, Phillip sees Joy eavesdropping.
Phillip
"What are you doing Joy?"
Joy's nervous. Vivian and Gus stop talking when they hear Phillip's voice.
Vivian
"Phillip's in the hall. I hope he didn't hear what we said."
Vivian whispers. She rushes out to the hall. Gus follows her.
Vivian
"Phillip, I thought that was you and Joy. What are you guys doing?"
Joy
"I came down to get Chloe some water."
Phillip
"Is Chloe ok?"
Joy
"Yeah just has a little cough."
Vivian
"Oh no. I hope she'll be okay to sing."
Joy
"I'm sure she will be."
Vivian
"Well I guess Gus and I should get going. I'll see you guys there."
Vivian and Gus leave. Phillip waits until the closes before he questions Joy.
Phillip
"Did you hear what they were talking about?"
Joy
"Yes I did."
Phillip
"Tell me everything."
Joy
"Vivian said she was the one that put in Chloe's head that Daniel was cheating her."
Phillip
"What?"
Joy
"Yeah and now they have some new plan to try and ruin Carly's life."
Phillip
"Of course. That bitch using Chloe like that."
Joy
"What are you going to do about it?"
Chloe walks downstairs and overhears.
Chloe
"Do about what?"
Phillip and Joy look up at her as she walks all the way down.
Chloe
"What's going on?"
Phillip
"Joy just found out something interesting."
Chloe
"What's that?"
Phillip
"Vivian is the reason why you thought Daniel was cheating on your with Carly."
Chloe's shocked.
Chloe
"Why would she do that?"
Phillip
"It was a part of her revenge plot on Carly."
Chloe
"How was ruining my relationship with Daniel have to do with Carly?"
Phillip
"Who knows with that woman."
Chloe
"Well we can worry about that later. We need to get to the Salem Inn."
Phillip
"You're right lets go."
Phillip, Chloe, and Joy head to the benefit together. At the hospital, Kinsey sits at Jan's beside in a purple and teal dress with a matching mask in hand.
Kinsey
"Tonight is the hospital benefit. I wish you could come. Sucks that you're still in a coma. You can't see my dress and I look good."
A knock on the door interrupts them. Kinsey turns towards the door.
Kinsey
"Come in."
Tad walks in with a suit matching Kinsey's dress. Kinsey gets up and walks over to him.
Tad
"Hey"
Kinsey
"Hey. You wore the suit."
Tad
"Did I have a choice?"
Kinsey
"No."
Tad
"I feel like the joker."
Kinsey
"You look fine."
Tad looks over at Jan.
Tad
"So this is your cousin."
Kinsey
"Yep meet Jan Spears."
Tad
"I'm not really meeting her. She's in a coma."
Kinsey
"Not for long. She's going to wake up."
Tad
"Really? That's awesome."
Kinsey
"Yeah she moved her hand, but Dr. Jonas doesn't think she will wake up but I know what I saw."
Tad
"Well doctors have been wrong before."
Daniel walks in. Kinsey pushes Tad out of the way to get to him.
Kinsey
"Any news on Jan?"
Daniel
"No. Everything is still the same."
Kinsey
"You're useless. Let's go Tad."
Kinsey walks to the door.
Tad
"After you pushed me out of the way?"
Kinsey
"Let's go Thaddeus."
He walks over to Kinsey
Tad
"Hey, I told you never to call me that."
She pulls him as they walk out. Daniel shakes his head then checks Jan's vitals. In the hall, Lexie walks up to the nurse's desk as Mimi walks up.
Lexie
"Hey Mimi. Ready to start your first night?"
Mimi
"Yep. It's good to be back at work and back to Salem."
Lexie looks around to make sure no one was around then back to Mimi.
Lexie
"Have you told Phillip?"
Mimi
"Not yet. I did talk to him but he got a call."
Lexie
"You need to tell him before he finds out from someone else."
Mimi
"I will tomorrow."
Lexie
"Good."
Mimi
"Yeah. I'm going to get into these files that the other nurses left.
Lexie smiles as Mimi goes behind the nurse's desk. Lexie sees Daniel walk out of Jan's room. She turns back to Mimi.
Lexie
"Oh let me introduce you to one of our best doctors."
Lexie looks at Daniel.
Lexie
"Daniel."
She waves him over. He walks over.
Lexie
"Hey, I want you to meet our new nurse Mimi Lockhart."
Mimi and Daniel look at one another.
Mimi & Daniel
"Eww you."
Lexie
"You two know each other?"
Mimi
"Yes he was arguing with Phillip. He's jealous that Phillip and Chloe are together."
Daniel
"They're not together."
Mimi
"Together, not together it doesn't matter you'll never have her again."
Daniel
"You know what? I don't like you."
Mimi
"The feeling is mutual"
Lexie
"Ok you two go back to work."
Daniel
"I actually need a nurse to check on a patient of mine. I've been called in to consult in the middle of checking vitals."
Lexie
"Mimi would be happy to do that for you."
Lexie takes Jan's chart out of Daniel's hand and gives it to Mimi.
Daniel
"That room right there."
Mimi
"Thank you."
Mimi walks over to Jan's room not knowing who she would find. She opens the door and walks in slowly then closes the door. She opens the chart and sees Jan Spears' name. She looks up slowly and sees Jan lying in bed. She drops the chart on the floor.
Mimi
"Oh my gosh. No. It can't be."
In the hall, Rex sees Lexie. He walks over to talk to her.
Rex
"Lexie"
Lexie turns around and smiles when she sees Rex.
Lexie
"Rex"
They hug then Lexie steps back to get a look at him.
Lexie
"Look at you. You're a doctor. I never thought it would happen. I mean I believe it would happen. Just never thought I would see you in action."
Rex
"Well now you will. I'm here to stay."
Lexie
"I'm glad to hear that. You might not be my little brother by blood but you're still one to me. I've missed you."
Rex
"I've missed you too and everyone here. I never wanna leave again."
Lexie
"Good because I won't let you. And I won't let you and Mimi breakup again."
Rex
"Oh that's never going to happen."
Lexie laughs.
Rex
"Have you seem by beautiful fiancée?"
Lexie
"Yes. She's in the room right over there checking on a patient."
Rex
"Thank you."
Rex walks over to Jan's room. He opens the door and sees Mimi staring at Jan.
Rex
"Oh my gosh. Is that Jan?"
Mimi
"Yes."
Rex
"I didn't realize she was still in a coma."
Mimi
"I hope she stays that way."
Mimi bends down and picks up Jan's chart. She walks over to check Jan's vitals.
Rex
"I'm sure everyone feels that way."
Mimi
"You're so right."
Mimi records Jan's vitals then stares at her one more time before she and Rex leave her room. As the door shuts, Jan's right hand moves. Phillip, Chloe, and Joy arrive at the Masquerade Ball.
Joy
"Wow, this looks so cool."
Chloe
"You did a great job Phillip."
Phillip
"Thank you."
Phillip smiles. EJ and Nicole are already there, Nicole sees them and walks over.
Nicole
"Chloe hey. Oh I love your dress."
They hug.
Chloe
"Thanks I love yours too."
Nicole
"Oh this old things."
EJ walks over.
EJ
"Chloe, Phillip."
Phillip
"Hey EJ."
Nicole
"Who's this young lady?"
EJ
"Phillip's already stepping out on you?"
Chloe
"No this is my little sister Joy. Joy, these are our friends EJ and Nicole DiMera"
Joy
"Nice to meet you two."
Nicole
"Nice to meet you too. Such a cutie. I bet the boys are lining up for this one."
Joy
"Not really. I don't even have a date."
Will's friend Henry walks up in red suspenders with a matching mask
Henry
"You do now."
Everyone looks at him.
Henry
"Hey baby. My name is Henry. What's yours?"
Joy smiles.
Joy
"Nice to meet you Henry. I'm Joy."
Henry
"Joy, huh? Well that's how I feel now that I see you."
Joy giggles.
Nicole
"I think I just threw up in my mouth."
Henry
"Would you like to dance?"
Joy
"Sure."
Henry takes Joy's hand and they go to the dance floor.
Chloe
"Well that was interesting."
Nicole
"A beautiful girl like Joy shouldn't be with a dork like...like...what was his name again?"
EJ
"I lost track of what's going on."
Phillip
"That was Henry, Will's friend."
Chloe
"Oh the computer nerd."
Nicole
"That explains the suspenders."
EJ
"I didn't think they made those anymore."
Phillip
"Apparently they do."
Stephanie gets into her tight fitting pink and white gown that shows off her curves with a matching mask. She grabs her purse and phone then walks out the door. As she walks away, some come around the corner and follows her.
