A/N: The word count on this sucks and I'm not happy with it at all...
Disclaimer: I don't own a thing... only an imagination and even that seems to have failed me for this chapter.
Enjoy (hopefully)
"So let me get this straight," Sasuke began, his eyes narrowed upon the form of Ana, "everything I knew about my clan has been a lie. They've been manipulated by this Black Zetsu guy from the time of Madara and the first Hokage. You've been given a mission by Death to go back in time and stop Black Zetsu, thereby changing the future and fates of everyone affected by this grand plan. Do I have that right?"
"That sums it up nicely," Ana nodded with the smallest of grins.
It had been painfully easy to escape Deidara and Tobi, they had been far too busy on the lake getting the bijuu and by the time they'd returned she was gone. As a piece of rope could keep her contained, even if it was rigged with explosives. She figured her best course of action would be to get Sasuke on board, he would be the hardest to convince after all and once he was with her then Naruto would be a piece of cake. Was she abusing Naruto's love for Sasuke? Yes she was. Did she care that she was using Sasuke to get Naruto on board? No she didn't.
"Why should I believe you?" Sasuke asked wearily. Ana was a conundrum that he just couldn't figure out and it vexed him to the point of throttling her. She was sprawled out on his bed, acting like she owned the place, his eye twitched as she shifted in a way that exposed her midriff to his gaze. She was doing it on purpose, she had to be, she was using his sexual attraction to her to get what she wanted. "You told me you were going to Gaara, now you come back with this tale about meeting Death."
"What's to say I didn't go see Gaara? Maybe I just left out the part where he bent me over his desk and-"
"Shut up," Sasuke snarled, one second he's over by his desk and the next he was hovering over her, his hand wrapped tightly around her neck. "I don't care who you spread your legs for like some common harlot."
"But Sasuke," she pouted, the red in her red-green eyes more prominent, her legs shifted to wrap around his hips. She lightly raised her hips in a circular motion, rubbing them against him as a playful look entered her eyes, "you're the only one I'd spread my legs for."
"Me and Gaara?" his eyes narrowed even as they darkened and he responded to her movements.
"The only thing we shared was a rather awkward kiss," her eyes rolled, "though he is undoubtedly hot, I haven't seen him since then."
"Hn," he muttered, feeling pleased at the revelation though the feeling was soon replaced with annoyance as soon as he registered why he felt pleased. It was a feeling he would rather not give a name to. "Why should I come with you?" he asked, his hand moving from her throat and making a path down her chest. He would forget about the emotion he wouldn't name, instead he would focus on the carnal emotions he gained from her, "it's a crazy plan."
"Because you have nothing to lose," she reasoned, her fingers threading through his hair and tugging him down. He hissed but said nothing as her tongue ran along the shell of his ear, "and everything to gain. You can have your mother, your father, the sweet adoring older brother you once loved. It's just a choice between hatred or happiness. Which do you choose Sasuke?"
He remembered his mother's face, the way she laughed whenever he would ask for a tomato or pull a face broccoli, the way he felt so warm in her arms. The way he worshipped his father and brother, always trying to surpass the latter to impress the former. He loved his father and the way his brother had been before the massacre, but his missed his mother most of all. His sweet unjudging mother who hadn't deserved death. He stared down into the green-red eyes of the woman who was offering to give him his mother back, his heart thumped so loud he was afraid she would hear it, a part of him didn't want to believe her. To let himself hope. But the logical part of him argued that Ana was many things, but she was no liar.
"I'm in," he whispered so quietly even he doubted he said it, he pressed his face into her neck and closed his eyes. His arms wrapped around her and, startled, she wrapped her arms around him, his eyes closed and he allowed himself to succumb to a fantasy that had been suppressed by his hatred. A fantasy of a happy families and love. The hug was tender and full of care and when Sasuke finally released her from it neither mentioned it.
Ana allowed him to have his moment of comfort in peace.
"Let's go get Naruto!" she said happily a moment later, all thoughts of playing with Sasuke gone now stage one of her plan was complete.
"What?" Sasuke groaned as she took his hand, the blonde idiot filling his mind and though a fondness overtook him he still scowled.

To say Kurama was happy to see Ana again would have been a major understatement, he almost purred as he felt the familiar brush of her magic against him. She soothed him to no end and he could almost forget what had happened to him, how they wanted him for power. He may be a reserve of Chakra, but he was an entity with thoughts and emotions. Ana's magic made him feel loved. Even his host was happy to see the girl.
But what he wasn't happy about was the Uchiha brat sitting beside her, he sat far too close to be anything less than innocent and the way he looked at her. It made his blood boil. The Uchiha was not worthy of his little sister.
Little sister?
Well wasn't that a startling thought?
But it made sense he supposed, his fellow bijuu were his siblings and Ana was able to calm them. He almost snarled when word of Madara entered his mind space and he was tempted to break free of his confines, just to tell the crazy girl she couldn't go. But then she told Naruto that Death had given her the mission and he hesitated. There were only three things Kurama did not want to mess with and Death took the number one spot.
The benefits outweigh the negative, this country is leading to war much like it was back then. If they could stop this at the beginning then I cannot interfere. It is their choice.
Kurama realised the moment Naruto hesitantly agreed that it wasn't a matter of if they succeeded, but when they succeeded. He smiled, as much as a fox could, and settled down to rest his head on his paws. Besides, if it somehow didn't work and Ana was killed, he was simply take over his host, seal or no seal, and then the world would feel the true wrath of Kurama. The thoughts had him closing his eyes, a pleased huff coming from him. I will protect you little one, he thought softly before drifting off to a rare peaceful sleep.

Ana chose the Valley of the End for the ritual, the water there was a pure as she was going to get, and it was a fitting place. The irony of beginning their quest at the place that marked the end of Madara and Hashirama's friendship was too much for Dark Ana to pass up. But it was more than that. It was also where Sasuke and Naruto fought, the beginning of Sasuke's path of vengeance. The Valley of the End was both an end and a beginning, a cycle that would be perfect for them. They stepped out into the middle of the lake as night fell and the moon began to rise. When the moon reached its highest point and cast its silver light down upon them, images of runes appeared in Ana's mind.
Drawing her magic out she drew a circle around them with it, and at the north, east, south and west points she drew runes. As if sensing the powerful magic being invoked, the air around them was silent, not even Sasuke and Naruto made a noise for fear of breaking Ana's concentration. The magical runes were coloured with a yellowish glow, and slowly the circle began to take shape, becoming filled with smaller ruins, until it reached them in the centre and when she was finished, it erupted with light, rising up to the moon.
Ana took a deep breath before reciting the words Death had given her, they were Latin, but magic was always in the language of Latin. Its pronunciation, which would have been hard for Naruto and Sasuke, rolled from her tongue with ease. "Invocabo antiqua munia, per spatium tempusque conjuro te, in quo nos ad coepta, ut simus initium mutare maledictam fatum, invocabo antiqua munia, et clamor meus ad vocationem, conjuro te."
There was no great shift, no feeling of being moved, nor was there a sense of reversing time like she had seen with the time turner. There was a rise of magical power and then nothing, at first she thought it hadn't worked, but Naruto quickly put that thought to rest by declaring the lack of the great stone statues that had guarded the waterfall. Indeed, when they made their way back to Konoha there was only a valley and cliff face bare of the hokage monuments.
"So," Naruto began as they stood in the centre of where the village once stood, "where do we begin?"
From what she gathered from Death, the Senju leader was the kinder one and she was more than sure he'd want to help in her mission. Still there was a matter of trust, she would need to establish a basis in which to build her foundation, and no one gave their trust easily in times of war. Hashirama may be willing to trust her, but those around him would not, therefore it stood to reason that they needed to gain a good reputation and allow that to form a bridge to earning the Senju's trust. Madara would be harder, but that endeavour was made easier by Sasuke's presence, they shared the same blood and she could only hope that would give them some ground to work with. She could only hope they had arrived far back enough that she had the time to act out her plan.
"Isn't it obvious, dobe," Sasuke rolled his eyes, "we find Madara."
"No," Ana cut across them before they could argue with each other. "That comes later. Right now, we are no one, we don't exist and that is a hindrance. It means that the Uchiha and Senju won't even look at us as threats or allies. First we establish a name for ourselves, then we wait for them to approach us." It was a power play, they would become pseudo-mercenaries – fight for the poor and gain a good reputation. The two clans would undoubtedly become interested… she hoped.
"I see, do we have the time for that though?" Sasuke asked, "and what would we call ourselves?"
"I believe so, the spell was designed to bend time around us, it was controlled by my magic and it would have given us time," Ana smiled, pondering on Sasuke's second question before a snort left her. "Welcome to the Gryffindor Clan boys." She declared with a grin.
"Gryffindor?" Sasuke questioned with a look of disdain.
"It's that or the Three Musketeers," Ana goaded, her voice song like in quality.
"Gryffindor is perfect," Sasuke grimaced.
"Aww," Naruto put in, "I liked the Three Musketeers."
A/N: I know... it's short... but I was really struggling and this chapter just did not want to be written. I will probably end up changing it, but I wanted to give you guys something to read because it has been so long since I updated Moonlight Sonata. This chapter just hates me, I've been fine with other stories, it's just been this one. Anyway, I'm sorry for the sub par chapter, I'm disappointed with it too, so don't feel bad if you get to the end and think it's a load of rubbish. The spell used in the chapter was Latin, below is the English version. I used Google translate for it so it may not be completely correct.
I call upon the ancient powers, through space and time I summon thee to take us back to where it began, so we might change this cursed fate. I call upon the ancient powers, hear my call, I summon thee.
