Phillip
"I ran over Nicole? I don't think so."
Chloe
"Yeah Phillip wouldn't do that. Nicole is his friend. He wouldn't just leave her there."
Bo
"I have video proof that Phillip did."
Bo holds up the surveillance tape.
Phillip
"I want to see that tape. I think I have that right."
Bo
"Fine, we can do that down at the station."
Chloe
"I'll call Justin."
Chloe pulls her phone out as Office Parker walks up to put handcuffs on Phillip.
Bo
"Tell him to meet us at the station because Phillip Kiriakis, you're under arrest for the hit and run of Nicole Walker. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right of an attorney. And well you know the rest."
Phillip
"I didn't do this."
Chloe
"Don't say anything else Phillip."
Bo
"Listen to Chloe. Let's go."
Bo looks at Stephanie, Nathan, and Melanie.
Bo
"Stephanie, you need to come to. Nathan and Melanie, I will need your statements also. Carly, I'm sorry."
Bo walks out with Evan and Phillip. Chloe watches as Phillip gets taken away then turns her attention to the others.
Chloe
"What the hell is going on here?"
Everyone is silent. Nicole has her back turned as Phillip is being escorted out. She attempts to contact EJ again.
Nicole
"EJ, where are you? I'm worried. Call me, please."
Nicole hangs up.
Nicole
"Ugh. Why do I even care? I shouldn't. I'm not. I'm going home. Well to the DiMera mansion, if you call that a home."
Nicole turns around and sees Chloe.
Nicole
"First, I'm going to congratulate my best friend."
Nicole smiles. At the cemetery, Mia continues to talk to Grace.
Mia
"I'm such a horrible person Grace. You deserved a better mom. After what I've done, I don't think anyone could ever forgive me."
Someone touches Mia's shoulder. She jumps. At the hospital, Sami, Rafe, Lucas, and Alex await news on Johnny's condition. EJ stands in the corner observing.
Sami
"What's taking them so long?"
Rafe
"They're working on him. They'll let us know how he's doing as soon as they know."
Sami
"I'm so scared."
Rafe
"I know. We all are."
Lucas looks over and sees EJ standing in the corner. They stare at one another.
Sami
"I can't believe someone would run down an innocent little boy then takes off? I mean how heartless can a person be."
Lucas looks back at Sami.
Lucas
"There are some heartless people out there. They're all around us."
Lexie walks over.
Lexie
"Oh my gosh, I just heard what happened. Where's EJ?"
Sami stares at Lexie.
Sami
"Who cares, it's his fault."
Lexie
"How is this EJ's fault?"
Sami
"If he would have just stayed away none of this would be happening and Johnny wouldn't be fighting for his life right now. He would be asleep at my Grandmas. But no, your brother has to show up and call Johnny downstairs."
Sami starts crying again.
Sami
"Then he gets ran over by some monster."
Lexie
"I'm sorry."
Sami
"I don't care about your sorry."
Lexie
"I'm going to see if I can find out anything about Johnny's condition."
Sami
"What, a DiMera being useful? Who would have thought that could be possible?"
Lexie walks away.
Rafe
"A little harsh don't you think?"
Sami
"Lexie might be married to my uncle Abe, but she is still a DiMera by blood."
Rafe
"It's not her fault that EJ is the way that he is."
Sami
"Since when did you start being Lexie's defender?"
EJ
"That's enough."
EJ yells. Everyone looks over at him as he walks towards them.
EJ
"Leave my sister alone. You want to yell at someone, yell at me."
Sami
"Gladly."
Sami crosses her arms. At the police station, Natasha is drinking some coffee when Justin walks up to her.
Justin
"Ms. Crane."
She turns to him.
Natasha
"Mr. Kiriakis."
Justin
"Please call me Justin."
Natasha
"What are we pals now?"
Justin
"No, no we're not."
Natasha
"Good. So what do you want?"
Justin
"I see your attitude is the same at night as it is during the day."
Natasha
"I like to stay consistent."
Justin
"I just need you to sign these papers."
Justin hands her a folder filled with papers. She takes the folder and opens it up to look over the papers.
Justin
"It's the papers saying that all the charges against my client, Dr. Richard Baker, have been officially dropped."
Natasha
"Oh yes the noble doctor."
Justin hands Natasha a pen.
Justin
"I think you might need one of these."
Natasha takes the pen from Justin and signs the papers then gave them back to Justin.
Natasha
"You better hope Baker doesn't do anything to anyone or it'll be on your head."
Justin
"I'm aware of that. I was just helping him for a friend."
Natasha
"Hope Brady? Oh wait, Hope Williams now."
Justin
"Yes."
Natasha and Justin are interrupted by Bo, Evan, and Phillip walking in.
Justin
"What's going on?"
Bo
"I arrested Phillip."
Justin
"I see that, for what?"
Bo
"Hit and run."
Justin is shocked. At the Salem Inn, Chloe awaits answers.
Chloe
"So no one is going to tell me what's going on?"
Melanie
"You heard Bo. Phillip ran down Nicole."
Chloe
"Yes I heard that, but how do you all factor into all of this?"
Carly
"Shouldn't you be calling Justin?"
Chloe
"Carly, you had your chance to talk. Now let you tramp daughter have the floor."
Melanie
"Who the hell are you calling a tramp?"
Chloe
"Oh now she can form a sentence."
Melanie
"This coming from the slut that cheated on my father and slept with my husband and got knocked up."
Chloe
"You didn't even love Phillip. You were in love with Nathan the whole time. And your father knew I was married to Lucas, but he still wanted me. So what does that make him?"
Melanie
"Don't talk about my father."
Chloe
"It's not like I broke up your little marriage to Phillip. I did you a favor. I gave you a reason to leave Phillip and go back to Nathan. The truth is really I thought Daniel was cheating on me with Carly."
Melanie
"I don't know where you got that crazy idea from. My father would have never cheated on you. For whatever reason, he loved you."
Joy flashes back to eavesdropping on Vivian and Gus.
Vivian
"Oh when I tried to convince that Chloe Lane that Carly was sleeping with Daniel. What good did that do?"
Joy freezes and steps behind the door to listen.
Gus
"Chloe responded by sleeping with Phillip and now she's pregnant with his child."
Vivian
"Yes and now Carly's living happily ever after with Bo Brady. Oh well."
Joy comes back.
Joy
"I know where she got the idea from. Vivian Alamain."
Carly
"What does Vivian have to do with this?"
Joy
"I overheard Vivian and some guy named Gus talk about how she wanted to get revenge on some woman named Carly by making it seem like she was having an affair with Daniel."
Melanie
"That bitch."
Stephanie
"She's the one that started all of this."
Carly
"Joy, are you sure that's what you heard?"
Joy
"Yes."
Chloe
"I'll deal with Vivian later. Joy, you and I need to get to the police station. And I need to call Justin."
Chloe pulls out her phone and calls Justin. Melanie looks over at Nathan.
Melanie
"We better get to the police station too."
Nathan
"Yeah we do."
Nathan and Melanie leave.
Carly
"Do you need a ride Stephanie?"
Stephanie
"I know my way to the station."
Stephanie walks away. Carly follows. Justin answers his phone.
Justin
"Chloe, hey I know about Phillip."
Chloe
"How?"
Justin
"I'm at the police station."
Chloe
"I'm on my way now."
Chloe hangs up as Nicole walks up.
Nicole
"Hey songbird."
Nicole notices that Chloe's upset.
Nicole
"What's wrong?"
Chloe
"Phillip was just arrested."
Nicole
"For what?"
Chloe
"Running you over."
Nicole's shocked. In the cemetery, Mia looks up at the person that touched her shoulder and is relieved when she sees it's Will.
Mia
"Will, how did you find me?"
Will kneels down beside her.
Will
"Nicole told me that I might find you here."
Mia
"Oh."
Will
"She said you had a confrontation with you Cousin Jamie."
Mia
"Yeah she told me some things."
Will
"Like what?"
Mia
"My mom is dead."
Will
"I'm sorry."
Mia
"But she's not my real mom."
Will
"What? How does she know that?"
Mia
"Apparently my mom…Carol, told her so before she died."
Will
"Do you believe her?"
Mia
"It makes sense I guess. Carol never really liked me. I guess it is better that she's not my real mom. I would hate to think that a mom could hate her child."
Will
"Yeah that would suck."
Mia
"I can't imagine ever hating Grace no matter what she did."
Will
"Me either. I miss her."
Mia
"I didn't even know her. Sometimes I wonder what it would be like if she was still alive. Like where she would take her first steps. What her first words would be. Would she even want to know who I was? Would she have ever known who I was? If Nicole had her way, Grace would think that Sami and EJ were her parents. Not Chad and I. But Grace died and now Nicole's pregnant. She gets a second chance at being a mother. Where's my second chance?"
Will
"You'll get a second chance one day. Right now you should just live in the moment."
Mia
"You're right I should."
Mia pulls Will into a kiss. At the hospital, Sami and EJ give each other a stare down.
EJ
"Well don't keep me in suspense."
Sami
"If you would have just stayed away, Johnny would be safe right now."
EJ
"If you would have just let me see my son…"
Sami
"Don't blame me for this."
Their fight is interrupted by Daniel and Lexie.
Daniel
"Sorry to interrupt, but we have some news on Johnny's condition."
Everyone turns their attention to them.
Sami
"How's my son."
EJ
"My son."
Daniel
"The crash has damaged Johnny's liver. The good news is that I can save part of it, but Johnny is going to need a partial liver transplant."
Sami
"Okay he can have a part of my liver. Let's do this."
Daniel
"It doesn't work that way. We first will have to test you to see if you're a match."
Sami
"Ok then test me."
EJ
"Me too."
Sami
"Johnny doesn't need your liver. He can have mine."
Daniel
"Really? I mean your kid was just hit by a car and you can't stop fighting for two seconds to help him?"
Rafe
"Daniel's right. We should band together to help find a partial donation for Johnny."
Daniel
"Parents are usually the best options. So we'll start with you Sami and EJ. Then we'll try siblings like Will. Allie and Sydney are too young so Sami and EJ we could test your siblings. Lexie, you and Sami don't you have sisters?"
Sami
"Yes Carrie and Belle. I will call them if I'm not a match."
Daniel
"Ok so we'll start the testing now, if Sami and EJ are done arguing now."
Sami
"I am."
EJ
"Me too."
Daniel
"Okay, then follow me."
Daniel and Lexie take EJ and Sami to get tested. Lucas pulls out his phone to call Will again. He doesn't answer.
Lucas
"No answer again."
Alex
"Will probably has his phone because of the ball. How about I go and get him and bring him here?"
Lucas
"Thank you."
Lucas and Alex kiss.
Alex
"You're welcome. I'll be right back."
Lucas
"Ok, be safe."
Alex
"I will."
Alex heads back to Salem Inn. At the police station, Bo shows Phillip, Justin, Evan, and Natasha the hit and run footage.
Justin
"So all you have against Phillip is that tape?"
Bo
"Well all the other evidence has been wiped clean."
Natasha
"Seems like your client isn't as innocent as he says he is."
Phillip
"I didn't hit Nicole."
Justin
"Shut up Phillip."
Phillip
"I didn't do it. I didn't do it. Why is saying that such a bad thing?"
Justin
"Phillip please just shut up."
Bo
"Evan, take him to booking."
Justin
"I will like a moment alone with my client."
Natasha
"You will after booking."
Bo
"I need to talk to you first. Let's go to my office."
Justin
"Okay."
Bo and Justin head to his office. Natasha just stands there.
Natasha
"Okay I'll just stand here."
She rolls her eyes. Stephanie, Melanie, Nathan, and Carly arrive at the station as Bo and Justin are about to go into Bo's office. Bo notices them.
Bo
"Good, you're all here. Come into my office."
They all head into Bo's office. Justin is confused. They walk in and Bo closes and locks the door. Justin notices.
Justin
"What's going on here?"
Bo
"I can't protect you guys anymore. All the information is going to the DA."
Justin
"What's that?"
Stephanie
"I stole the hospital surveillance tape and the contents of Eddie Saunders' safe deposit box."
Nathan
"It had evidence that I threatened Colin Murphy before he died and I try to help cover up the hit and run. Eddie was blackmailing me."
Justin
"Why would you cover for Phillip?"
Melanie
"He wasn't covering for Phillip, he was covering for me?"
Justin
"You wanted to protect Phillip?"
Nathan
"No Eddie made it seem like Melanie was the one that hit Nicole, but really it was Phillip."
Stephanie
"Eddie just wanted to get close to me. So he blackmailed Nathan with falsified evidence."
Melanie
"And I just found out all of this tonight."
Bo
"Me too."
Justin
"Wow."
Justin looks at Carly.
Justin
"So what's your part in all of this?"
Carly
"I was there when all of this came out."
Justin
"Oh. Well. This is all very interesting. So what do you want me to do?"
Bo
"Defend Stephanie. Natasha is going to have a field day with this."
Justin
"Of course I will, but what about Melanie and Nathan?"
Melanie
"I didn't do anything."
Bo
"I'm hoping that Nathan won't press charges against Stephanie for blackmailing him and that he and Melanie will keep quiet about what Stephanie did."
Melanie
"Say what? No I can't help her."
Bo
"I think it's an even trade. Let's put this petty feud behind all of us."
Carly
"I agree."
Nathan
"Me too."
Melanie
"I guess I have no choice then."
Carly
"It's for the best."
Melanie
"I guess so just as long as Stephanie is really over this revenge thing."
Everyone looks at Stephanie.
Stephanie
"I will. Uncle Justin, please help me."
Justin
"I will."
Justin stops to think.
Justin
"Wait; if Eddie wanted to make it look like Melanie did it then he was the one that wiped the crime scene clean. So that's something that can help Phillip's case. This is going to be easy."
Bo
"Natasha will complicate things. Nicole will also."
Evan puts Phillip into his cell and locks the door before walking away. Phillip closes his eyes and takes a deep breath. He hears heels walking down the hallway. They get louder as they get closer till they finally stop. Phillip opens his eyes and sees who his visitor is.
Phillip
"Nicole"
They stare at one another. Alex arrives at the Salem Inn as everyone's cleaning up.
Alex
"I guess the party is over."
Alex turns and walks away, but gets stopped by a familiar voice.
Rick
"Alessandra?"
Alex turns around.
Alex
"Fredrick, what the hell are you doing back in town?"
Rick
"Oh come on. I know you've missed me sis."
Alex
"I think not."
Rick
"So I see you've found yourself a new target."
Alex
"I don't have time for this Freddie, I need to find someone."
Alex turns back around to leave, but Rick stops her again.
Rick
"Oh no he got away?"
She turns back around.
Rick
"Have you found a more challenging target this time?"
Alex
"I don't do that anymore. I've matured and have moved on. You should too. Now if you could leave me alone, I need to find someone."
Rick
"Maybe I can help."
Alex
"Goodbye."
Alex leaves. Rick smiles. At Lucas', Will and Mia walk in. Will turns on a light.
Mia
"Are you sure it's okay to have me here?"
Will
"Yeah, no one's home and if they do come you can hide in my room."
Mia smiles and giggles softly.
Will
"What were you telling Grace before I got there?"
Mia
"What do you mean?"
Will
"You said that you're a horrible person and that you've done something. What was that?"
Mia gets nervous. At the hospital, Sami and EJ are finished testing.
Sami
"How long before we hear if we're a match?"
Daniel
"I'll let you know in a few."
Sami
"Great, so can I see my son now?"
Daniel
"Sure, one at a time and no fighting."
EJ watches as Sami goes into Johnny's room. He then pulls out his phone and sees that Nicole has called him several times so he calls her. It goes straight to voicemail.
EJ
"Nicole, I'm sorry I didn't pick up. I'm in the middle of some important business. I'll be home later. Bye"
EJ hangs up as Lexie walks up to him.
Lexie
"Why did you lie to Nicole?"
EJ
"Nicole doesn't need to be here."
Lexie
"You need someone on your side."
EJ
"That's what you're here for."
Lexie
"True."
EJ
"I'm sorry I didn't stop Sami from ripping into you."
Lexie
"It's fine. It's not like it's the first time and its definitely not going to be the last time."
EJ
"Still…"
Lexie
"Still nothing, it's fine."
EJ
"What about this partial liver transplant? Will it work?"
Lexie
"Yes it will. We just need to find a donor and fast. You or Sami are most likely matches."
Daniel test Sami and EJ's blood samples to see if they're a match for Johnny when he discovers something.
Daniel
"What? That can't be."
Meanwhile, Sami sits with Johnny who lies motionless in bed. Sami tries not to break down.
Sami
"Oh Johnny, I'm so sorry. I should have saved you."
She walks closer to his bed and sits down.
Sami
"I should have protected you and I failed."
She brushes his curls with her hand.
Sami
"But I won't fail again. I'm going to give you your partial liver transplant and you're going to get better and soon you'll be chasing your sister's around again. I'm not going to let you die. I refuse to lose another child."
Rafe
"Another child?"
Sami turns around and sees Rafe standing in the doorway.
Rafe
"What other child did you lose?"
Sami freezes. At the police station, Nicole talks to Phillip.
Phillip
"I'm guessing you know why I'm in here."
Nicole
"Chloe told me."
Phillip
"Nicole, I'm so sorry. I don't even remember hitting you..."
Nicole
"It's okay Phillip."
Phillip
"No it's not. I hurt you."
Nicole
"And I've hurt everyone in this town at one point. And all I wanted was forgiveness even though I didn't deserve it."
Phillip
"Are you saying you forgive me?"
Nicole
"Yes because I know Phillip you didn't mean to hurt me."
Phillip
"But I did."
Nicole
"Phillip, after everything that I've done, especially to your father, you're one of the very, very few people that stayed by my side. You've always been a good friend to me and I want to finally repay you for that."
Phillip
"I couldn't ask you to do that."
Nicole
"You're not; I'm telling you I'm going to do that."
Phillip
"It doesn't matter what I say, you're going to do what you want."
Nicole
"Yes, see you catch on."
Phillip and Nicole giggle.
Nicole
"Plus, you're going to be a dad and you can't do that from jail, just saying."
Phillip
"You speak the truth Nicole Walker, but I heard that new DA is tough."
Nicole
"Don't worry, I got this. By the time I'm finished, you'll be a free man."
Phillip
"Thank you Nicole."
Nicole
"You're welcome."
Nicole gives Phillip one more smile before she walks away. Chloe walks up shortly after.
Chloe
"Hey"
Phillip
"Hey."
Chloe
"What did Nicole have to say?"
Phillip
"That she forgives me and that she wants to help me get out of this."
Chloe
"Wow, that's awesome."
Phillip
"What, were you worried?"
Chloe
"Yeah, she didn't give me much of a reaction after I told her."
Phillip
"I didn't know what to expect when she showed up."
Chloe
"Nicole has been a great friend to the both of us."
Phillip
"Yes she has."
Chloe
"I'm going to stick by you though all of this."
Phillip
"Why?"
Chloe
"Because I care, I care a lot."
Phillip and Chloe smile at one another. Upstairs, Nathan and Melanie sign their statements and hand them to Bo.
Bo
"You two are free to go."
Carly gives Melanie a hug.
Carly
"You two drive safely."
Nathan
"We will."
Carly and Bo walk away.
Nathan
"Wow, what a night."
Melanie
"That's an understatement."
Nathan and Melanie look into each other's eyes.
Nathan
"A lot happened, but the best thing of all."
Melanie
"We can finally be together?"
Nathan
"Yes."
They kiss.
Nathan
"So, what do you want to do?"
Melanie
"Let's see. I would like to finish what we started in the locker room earlier except can it be in a bed this time? The lockers were hard and kind of cold plus someone could walk in on us. Oh yeah and if show up at work they'll probably want us to work."
Nathan
"I accept this terms."
They kiss one last time before they leave the station. Stephanie appears from around the corner.
Stephanie
"Enjoy it now you two because soon everyone will feel my wrath."
She smiles. At Lucas', Will awaits Mia's answer.
Mia
"I was talking about what happened with Colin Murphy."
Will
"What about him?"
Mia
"I chose to get revenge on Nicole over finding a way to get pass Grace's death and moving over. And because of that I put so many lives at risk including yours. Now, your family hates me. They'll never let me forget what I did."
Will
"Mia, my mom has done way worse. Plus, the most important thing is I don't care what you did, I still love you."
Mia's shocked.
Mia
"You love me?"
Will
"Um…yeah….yeah I love you Mia McCormick."
Mia smiles.
Mia
"Really?"
Will
"Yeah."
Mia
"I love you too William Horton."
Will smiles. They kiss then gaze into each other's eyes.
Will
"Do you want to go upstairs?"
Mia
"Yes."
Will takes Mia's hand as they head to his room. At the hospital, Sami thinks of a lie to tell Rafe.
Sami
"I'm talking about Grace. I know she wasn't biologically my daughter, but I took care of her from the day she was born till the day she died. And being in this hospital makes me think of her."
Rafe
"That makes sense."
Rafe walks over to Sami and sits next to her and Johnny. In the hall, Lucas is talking to Alex.
Lucas
"Any sign of Will?"
Alex
"Not at the Salem Inn. By the time I got there, they were cleaning up. I'm pulling up to the house. I think I see his car."
Lucas
"Good."
Alex
"Yeah that's his car. I'm going in. We'll see you in a few minutes."
Lucas
"Ok. Thank you so much Alex."
Alex
"No problem. I love you."
Lucas
"I love you too."
Lucas hangs up with Alex just as Roman gets off the elevator.
Roman
"Lucas."
Lucas looks over at him.
Lucas
"Roman."
Roman
"I got here as soon as I heard any news on Johnny?"
Lucas
"He's going to need a partial liver transplant."
Daniel walks out to Lexie.
Daniel
"Lexie, can I talk to you for a second."
Lexie
"Yeah sure, I'll be right back EJ."
EJ
"Okay."
Daniel and Lexie go to the lab.
Daniel
"Take a look at this."
Lexie
"Is that EJ's sample?"
Daniel
"Yes, there's something off about it."
Lexie
"What is it?"
Daniel
"Take a look."
Lexie looks at it.
Lexie
"What? That's can't be."
Daniel
"That's what I said."
Lexie
"Wait, oh my God no."
Lexie gets upset. Nathan and Melanie are making out as they walk up to the back door of Maggie's. Nathan puts the key into the door and opens it up. They trip and fall on the floor. They laugh.
Nathan
"Maybe we should turn the light on."
Melanie
"Ok"
They get up. Nathan turns on the light. Melanie turns around and screams. Nathan turns around stunned. At the hospital, Lexie confronts EJ.
EJ
"Is everything ok?"
Lexie
"Daniel and I need to meet you with and Sami."
Daniel walks into Johnny's room.
Daniel
"Sami"
Sami turns around.
Sami
"Yes, is there any news? Am I a match?"
Daniel
"I need you to come out to the waiting room."
Sami
"Ok."
Sami and Rafe walk out behind Daniel. They head into the waiting room as Lexie and EJ walk over. Lucas and Roman walk towards them. Roman hugs Sami.
Roman
"I'm so sorry I wasn't here earlier."
Sami
"It's find dad. Daniel's about to tell us some news."
Lucas
"What's going on?"
EJ
"So are Samantha or I a match or not?"
Daniel
"While testing your samples, I discovered something off. I asked Lexie to examine the samples and she came to the same conclusion."
EJ
"Off? What does that mean?"
Sami
"Is there something wrong with our samples?"
Daniel
"Sami, yours is not a match."
EJ
"So mine is?"
Daniel
"No, you're a match either EJ."
Sami
"So that's it? Neither of us is a match?"
EJ
"I thought that a parent would be the best match?"
Daniel
"That still is true."
Sami
"If EJ and I aren't matches then how could that be?"
At Lucas', Alex walks inside and starts looking for Will. She doesn't see him so she calls for him.
Alex
"Will?"
Alex walks upstairs. In Will's room, Will and Mia are making out and begin to undress and get into bed. Mia kicks over a lap. Alex hears it and heads to Will's room.
Alex
"Will, are you ok?"
She opens the door and is shocked. At the Salem Inn, Jamie is crying as she makes a phone call.
Jamie
"Aaron, it's me Jamie. I need your help. I got into an accident. I ran over a little boy and I don't know what to do."
She cries. Back at the hospital, Daniel explains to everyone what he found.
Daniel
"Sami, you're not a match because your markers didn't match perfectly with Johnny's. And EJ, you're not a match because none of your markers matched Johnny's."
EJ
"What does that mean?"
Daniel
"It means…"
Lexie interrupts.
Lexie
"It means that there's no way that you could be Johnny's father."
Everyone's shocked. At Maggie, Melanie and Nathan can't believe their eyes. They see a man in the kitchen. He turns around and it's…it's… NICK FALLON!
Nick
"Hello Melanie."
He smiles.
