Sorry is update took so long. This is for friends on Tumblr who brought up some questions about Jo and Callen. Like how she never seemed to have questions before the Christmas ep. I mean come on she had to see the bullet scars. There is just something about her I don't like. She has to be up to something. So here is my idea.
Close to a month had passed now. Callen and Finn had gotten into a nice rhythm with the twins. Hanna of course was the best thing they could have asked for. She took great care of the kids and most nights made sure they had a home cooked meal ready when they got home. It was a Saturday and Callen had ran out to the store for baby supplies leaving Finn at the house with the twins alone.
Finn had put the twins down for their nap and went to do laundry. She had the monitor on the counter and heard a strange noise coming from the nursery. Grabbing her gun she made her way down the hall. Standing over Emma's crib was Jo.
"You better step away from my kids now or else." Finn had her gun up ready to fire.
Jo put her hands up. "You don't understand I'm not here to hurt them or you. I'm here to warn you."
"Warn me about what?"
"Nikolay Comescu is coming for the children."
"How do you know about the Comescu family?"
"Because I'm one of them." Jo stepped closer to Finn. "I came to this country as a child with my mother. She changed our names to help hide us from the family. Three years ago they found me. They said if I didn't do what they wanted they would kill my mother and step-father."
Finn lowered her gun. The look on Jo's face told her she was telling the truth.
"They wanted you close to Callen?"
"Yes." She took a deep breath. "They wanted me to kill him. I couldn't do it."
Emma started to fuss and Finn put her gun into her waist holster and picked Emma up.
"They found out about you after your marriage. I didn't tell them. I did what I could to keep them from finding out."
"I need to call Callen."
"Let me take her for you." Jo reached out for Emma. Finn took a deep breath and handed her over.
Callen answered his phone on the third ring. "Hey Finn did you forget something on the list?"
"No we have a problem here." Finn looked out the window towards the street. "Jo is here, apparently she is a Comescu and has information that one of the family is coming to take the kids."
"Excuse me…" Callen was shocked he really didn't know what to say. "Are you sure, you're not messing with me because I drank the last of the beer."
"Callen do you think I'd make a joke like that?" Finn looked at Jo she shook her head and Jo had to smirk. Sometimes Callen could be very dense.
"Ok I'm on my way home now."
Before Finn could say something else they heard glass break in the living room.
"Callen you need to call everyone now. Someone is breaking in."
"Ok I'm on my way."
Finn quickly punched in her code to send out a distress call. She reached into the dresser and pulled out a spare gun.
"Can you shoot?"
"No but I can try."
"Take the twins into the closet. Try and keep them quiet if you can." Finn shut the bedroom door and pushed the dresser in front of it. She pulled the drapes then handed Alex into Jo who took him quickly. Finn handed her the gun. If I go down shoot anyone who come into this room."
Jo only nodded and laid Alex next to his sister on a blanket. Finn shut the door and got ready.
From the hallway she heard a voice call out. "I know you are in here. Hand over the children and I may let you live."
Finn didn't make a sound.
"Come out Mrs. Callen don't make this harder than it has to be."
The voice came from outside the door. She could hear the babies fuss and Jo try to quiet them.
"You can't hide from me."
Finn heard the door know turn. The door didn't move thanks to the heavy dresser.
"You stupid little bitch, do you think I'm here alone?"
The glass on the window broke and a hand ripped the blind down. Finn shot twice hitting the guy dead center.
"Do you think I'd be unarmed?" yelled Finn.
The door started to move and Finn moved to stand in front of the door. She fired twice into the wood. On the other side she heard something heavy drop to the floor. Finn moved back to the wall and got low once more. She could hear the babies cry and Jo trying to calm them.
"You just signed your death certificate." Came a voice.
Outside Finn heard more gun shots. All she could think was Callen.
The dresser moved more and then crashed to the ground as two men shoved the door open. Finn dropped to her side on the floor and started shooting taking them both out. Seconds later Callen was in the hallway looking in at her.
"Having fun?"
"Not really."
Finn got up and opened the closet door. Jo sat there holding a crying Alex the gun still on the floor next to her.
"Here give him to me." Said Finn. Jo handed Alex up then picked up Emma and stood herself.
"I took out two out front." Said Callen.
"I got one at the window and those three."
Alex was whimpering now and Finn bounced him. Emma had stopped crying and was sucking on her fist.
"Are the kids ok?" asked Deeks as he stepped over the dead bodies.
"Yeah they are fine." Said Finn.
They got the kids calm and settled in the master bedroom while Deeks cleaned up the glass in the bedroom. Hetty already had workmen on the way to replace the glass and the nursery door.
"Ok now explain this all to me again?" Said Callen. Jo looked at him and sighed. She went over the story again.
"So you used us to get close to Callen?" asked a pissed off Sam.
"Yes."
"Sam calm down. If Jo hadn't warned me I wouldn't have been in the babies room when this all went down." Finn said. She still didn't like Jo but she was thankful for her today.
"Am I going to be in trouble?" said Jo looking up at Callen.
"I don't know."
"I'm just glad the babies are ok." Said Jo.
Deeks came in holding Emma. "She was fussy so I changed her for you."
"Thanks Deeks." He handed over the baby.
"Ok I need to go change Alex now." Deeks smiled and headed back.
"I think he's practicing for when Kensi gets pregnant." Said Finn.
Emma made some baby noises and Callen took her and started pacing. Kensi showed up then with Granger.
"Miss Taylor you need to come with us please." Said Granger. Kensi held out cuffs.
"Are those necessary?" asked Finn. "She was a big help today."
"She broke in your house." Said Kensi.
"And she warned me and saved us."
Kensi put the cuffs away.
"I'm really glad the babies are ok." Said Jo. She smiled at Emma and headed out with Kensi.
"The handy man will be her in twenty." Said Granger before he left with Kensi. Deeks came in then with Alex who was pulling at Deeks hair.
"Ow ok little man that's enough."
Finn pulled her son away from Deeks hair.
"Hey Alex it's not nice to pull uncle Deeks hair."
Deeks shook his head and laughed. "It's ok."
"Deeks there something you're not telling us?" asked Sam.
"Kensi is not pregnant." Said Deeks. "At least I don't think she is."
Everyone laughed at the look on Deeks face.
"Don't worry Deeks. Your great with the twins you'll be great with your own kids." Said Finn.
Hanna came running up the walk just then.
"Oh my god I was driving by and saw all the cop cars what happened?"
"It's ok. We had a little issue but it's taken care of now." Said Callen.
Hanna checked on both the twins and offered to take them to her place till everything was calm again.
"I think right now I want to keep them close." Said Finn cuddling Alex to her chest.
"Same here." Said Callen.
Sam filled Hanna in while they took the twins to their bedroom. Finn put Alex in his carrier and sat on the bed. Callen put Emma in hers and joined Finn.
"You ok?"
"No." Finn said and she started to cry. "I could have lost them today."
"Thanks to Jo we didn't. If she hadn't warned you."
"Callen she was watching over the kids this entire time."
"I'll talk to Hetty she should have to pay for what her family did."
Callen pulled his wife into his arms. He let Finn cry for a few moments. Then Emma started to cry so Callen scooped up his daughter.
"I think she's hungry."
"Here give her to me." Finn moved to lie on the bed with her back to the wall. She took her daughter and moved her shirt so she could feed her. "I love them so much Callen."
"I know so do I."
"If anything would have happened to them today."
"I know but nothing did."
"What if someone else comes after our kids?"
Callen looked down at his wife. "Then we fight like hell."
Sam knocked on their door. "Windows are almost fixed."
"Thanks Sam." Said Callen.
"You can go out if you want. I'll stay here with the kids."
"I'll be right back."
Callen went out to check the work on the windows. Two men were fitting the new window in the babies room. "Bullet resistant glass this time." Said the one. "Miss Lang insisted on only the best."
"Thanks."
"We can come back later in the week and swap out all the other windows too if you'd like?"
"I think that would be a good idea."
Once the windows were in place they put in a new door. Hanna had went in to sit with Finn and help her with the babies while Callen dealt with the cleanup. Ten minutes after the repair men left another team showed up to clean up the blood. It took two hours to have the house back in good condition.
Callen found his wife asleep and the babies as well. "I'll head home. If you need me tonight just call."
"Thanks Hanna."
"Any time Callen."
Sam headed home along with Deeks who had ran out and gotten food for Callen and Finn as well as finished the shopping for them. Callen stripped and climbed into bed with his wife.
"Everyone leave?" murmured Finn.
"Yeah, Deeks did the shopping and brought us dinner."
"Ok. Not really hungry right now."
"You rest we can eat later. The babies are both asleep so we should rest while we can."
"Callen I've never been so afraid as I was today."
"Me either." Callen pulled her close. "Does it make you regret all this?" asked Callen.
"You mean letting you knock me up with twins." Finn laughed.
"We'll yeah I guess."
"Not one bit." Finn rolled over to look at him. "I wouldn't give you or the twins up for anything."
"You sure?"
Finn rolled on top of Callen and kissed him deeply. When she pulled back, "Very sure." She wiggled against him and felt Callen start to get hard. "You thinking about finding a safer situation?"
"Never." Callen rolled them both over and started to pull her shirt off. "You're stuck with me angel."
"Hmmmmm good, I like being stuck with you."
Callen got her naked as fast as he could. The twins never were asleep at the same time and he needed to be inside his wife now. Callen slipped a finger into her to make sure she was ready for him. Finn moaned and reared up against him.
She shook as Callen worked her with his hand before sliding into her. He set a fast hard pace that made the bed hit the wall behind it. It was over quickly but it was what they both needed.
"I love you Finn."
"I love you too." Just then they heard one of the twins start crying. Callen moved so Finn could get up and pull on his shirt before going to check on them.
DEEKS PLACE.
"Ok I think they are figuring out something." Said Deeks as Kensi slowly rode him.
"What do you mean?"
"Well I changed the twins diapers and they made jokes about you being pregnant. I told them I didn't think you were."
Kensi paused and looked down at Deeks. "You could have told them."
"I know but I wanted to wait till you were there."
"Deeks it is ok if you want to tell them."
"I know."
Kensi started lift off Deeks but he flipped her and wrapped her legs around his hips. "We'll tell them Monday at work." Deeks pulled out and pushed back in slowly. "Hetty wants you on desk duty soon anyways. Everyone will know then."
Kensi moaned and reached back to grab the head board. Deeks shifted her legs over his shoulder and started to make the bed move. Kensi gasped and came hard but Deeks didn't stop, he kept going never slowing down.
"Oh Deeks please I need to come again." Kensi said gasping for breath.
Deeks moved a hand down to play with her and Kensi came screaming again. This pushed Deeks over the edge and he filled her before falling to the side.
"Oh man I needed that."
Kensi giggled and grabbed the water bottle next to the bed. "Wouldn't be able to do that once I start to show that's for sure."
"Guess we'll have to learn so new positions then." Said Deeks trying to catch his breath.
Kensi handed him the water bottle and snuggled into his side to sleep.
