Victor is having some coffee when Maggie walks in. She sees him and walks over to say hello.

"Hello Victor."
Victor looks up and smiles.
Victor
"Maggie, hello. Have a seat. I'll order something for you."
Maggie
"Ok."
Maggie takes off her coat as Victor signals for the waiter. He walks over.
Waiter
"Yes Mr. Kiriakis."
Victor
"Bring the lady a cup of your best tea and a muffin."
Waiter
"Right away sir."
The waiter walks off as Maggie takes a seat.
Maggie
"Thank you Victor, but the tea would just be fine."
Victor
"Nonsense. What's tea without a muffin?"
Victor says before taking a sip of his coffee. Maggie smiles.
Maggie
"You're right about that."
Victor
"Of course I am."
The waiter comes back with some tea and a muffin for Maggie.
Waiter
"Here you go ma'am. Enjoy"
Maggie
"Thank you."
Maggie takes a sip of tea.
Maggie
"By the way, you look very nice today. Did Vivian help you pick out your tie?"
Victor
"Why thank you and no. The only thing I'd let that woman pick out is a casket for herself."
Maggie's surprised.
UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL WAITING ROOM
Bo looks over at Stephanie then back at Gus.
Bo
"Are you sure that was the woman that was at the mansion?"
Gus
"Yes I am. Just ask her yourself."
Bo walks over to Stephanie.
Stephanie
"Hey Uncle Bo, is everything alright?"
Bo
"You tell me."
Stephanie
"What do you mean?"
Bo
"Did you visit the Kiriakis mansion this morning?"
Stephanie looks over at Gus who gives her a dirty look then looks at Bo.
Stephanie
"Yes, yes I did."
She smiles as she crosses her arms.
PHILLIP'S ROOM
Kate sits by Phillip's bedside as he lays unconscious. She brushes his out of his face.
Kate
"Who the hell did this to you?"
Kate pauses to look at him.
Kate
"Whoever did this to you, they will pay for this."
Phillip begins to stir. Kate gets excited.
Kate
"Phillip?"
Phillip opens his eyes. Kate smiles.
Kate
"Phillip, I'm so glad you're awake."
Phillip
"What? What happened?"
Kate
"You were hit over the head."
Phillip
"What? How long was I out?"
Kate
"Not long, but I'm happy you're up and you're going to be just fine."
Phillip
"Where's Chloe? I want to see Chloe."
Kate
"Screw Chloe"
Phillip stares at Kate who smirks.
NURSE'S DESK
Mimi and Belle rush off the elevator and over to Rex.

"Rex, what happened? I got your message."
Rex
"Phillip was attacked."

"Oh my gosh."
Mimi covers her mouth.
Belle
"Is he ok?"
Rex
"He will be, but I want Dr. Jonas to look over him just to be sure since that's his expertise. Kate's in there with him now."

"That's good that he's not alone."
Belle
"I'm so glad Phillip is going to be ok. Does Chloe know?"
Melanie and Nathan walk up.
Melanie
"I called her and let her know."
Belle
"Thank you."
Melanie
"You're welcome."
Suddenly, Daniel rushes off the elevator with Chloe in his arms.
Daniel
"I need some help right here."
Everyone turns and is in shock to see Chloe bleeding in Daniel's arms.
Belle
"Oh no, Chloe."
Rex
"Exam room 2 is empty."
Daniel rushes in and lays Chloe down on the bed. Everyone follows him in.
Daniel
"Ok we need to stop the bleeding and check the baby."
Daniel says as he begins to shake. Melanie notices and starts to pull him back so that Rex and Nathan can take over.
Nathan
"We can handle this"
Daniel
"No, I need to help Chloe."
Melanie
"I think its best that you come out here with me."
Melanie and Daniel walk out of the exam room.
Daniel
"I should be in there helping Chloe."
Melanie
"Nathan and Rex can handle this."
Daniel stares at the exam room. Melanie turns his attention back to her.
Melanie
"You're in no condition to help Chloe. You're too worried about her and the baby."
Daniel
"Yes I'm worried, but I'm fine."
Melanie
"You're shaking."
Melanie holds his hands up for him to see. Daniel yanks his hands away from Melanie. He turns away and rubs his face with his hands.
Melanie
"What happened to Chloe?"
Daniel snaps around.
Daniel
"I don't know. I found her in the elevator bleeding. Like why was she even here?"
Melanie remembers calling Chloe.
Melanie
"I know why she was here."
Daniel
"You do? Why?"
Melanie
"I called her and told her about Phillip."
Daniel
"What happened with Phillip?"
Melanie
"He was attacked."
Daniel gets angry.
JAVA CAFÉ
Maggie
"Well if you don't like Vivian that much then why are you married to her?"
Victor
"To keep an eye on her."
Maggie
"Well I've heard about keeping your enemies closer, but marriage? Victor, you deserve to be happy."
Victor
"I've tried happy and it didn't work out."
Maggie
"No offense but your taste in women isn't really all that great."
Victor
"Yeah I picked some interesting ones."
Victor and Maggie laugh. They're interrupted by one of Victor's associates Chris.
Chris
"Excuse me Mr. Kiriakis."
Victor
"Yes Chris."
Chris
"Sorry if I'm interrupting."
Victor
"It's fine. Is everything okay at the office?"
Chris
"Everything's fine. I'm here to bring you your phone. You left it at the first desk."
Chris hands Victor his phone.
Victor
"Ah thank you Chris."
Chris
"You're welcome sir. I'm going to go and finish that report for you."
Victor
"Alright. No rush on the report. Take your time."
Chris
"Ok sir. Goodbye."
Chris walks away.
Maggie
"He seems nice."
Victor
"Yeah he's a great guy to have a round. Very smart and hard working. Unlike my son who hasn't shown up all day to work.
Maggie
"I'm sure Phillip has a good reason for skipping work. Maybe something's wrong with Chloe and the baby?"
Victor
"Maybe"
Victor looks at his phone.
Victor
"Phillip called and left a message."
Maggie
"Well check it."
Victor plays the voicemail.
Phillip
"Hey dad, there's something up with Vivian. She's in the hospital. I think you should get down here when you get a chance. Ok, bye."
Victor puts his phone down.
Maggie
"Is everything ok?"
Victor
"Yep. Everything's fine. Just something with Vivian, she's at the hospital."
Maggie
"Oh my gosh, aren't you going to see her?"
Victor
"I guess I should."
Maggie
"Yes you should."
Victor
"I'm off to the hospital right now."
Maggie
"Good."
Victor stands up and puts his coat on.
Maggie
"I better get going also."
Maggie stands up. Victor picks her coat up off the back of the chair and helps Maggie put it on taking Maggie by surprised.

"Thank you Victor."
They stare at each other.

"You're welcome."
Victor smiles then walks out. Maggie smiles to herself.
UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL
Bo
"Why were you at the Kiriakis mansion?"
Stephanie
"Why do you ask?"
Bo takes a deep breath.
Bo
"Just answer the question."
Stephanie
"Why are you getting an attitude with me?"
Stephanie gets defensive and drops her arms.
Bo
"I'm not. I'm just asking."
Stephanie
"What did Gus say?"
Bo
"He said you were mad about your break up I'm assuming with Nathan."
Stephanie
"Vivian is the one that was poising Chloe's mind making her think that Daniel was cheating on her with Carly. That's the whole reason why Chloe slept with Phillip and then she got pregnant and then Nathan left me for Melanie."
Bo
"I understand you're upset about that, but…"
Stephanie
"But what? Vivian got exactly what she deserved."
Bo is shocked to hear Stephanie speak the ways she is.
Bo
"Stephanie, be honest with me. Did you poison Vivian?"
Stephanie stares at Bo.
PHILLIP'S ROOM
Kate
"Who care where Chloe is. You need to rest and get better."
Phillip
"I care about Chloe."
Kate
"I hope you mean you only care about her because she's caring your baby."
Phillip
"Do you really think that's true?"
Kate
"No I don't and I think that's a huge mistake on your part."
Phillip
"I don't care, but I'm sure you're going to tell me."
Kate
"Yes. Chloe is poison. She will be the death of you if you don't get your head on straight."
Phillip
"My head is really hurting so I don't really want to get into this."
Kate
"Fine, but your head will get better and I will do all I can to drill it into your brain that you should stay away from Chloe."

"You need to get it through your head that I'm not."
Kate
"Whatever. I'm going to see what's taking Daniel so long."
Phillip
"Daniel? He was the one working on me? Are you sure I was hit in the head?"
Kate
"Yes you were. Daniel hasn't seen you yet. Nathan and Rex examined you. Daniel is just going to consult."
Phillip
"Well I don't want him to."
Kate
"I'm sure he can't hurt you by just looking at your X-Rays."
Phillip rolls his eyes.
Kate
"You know, it's not his fault that you screwed his fiancée."
Phillip shakes his head.
Phillip
"Ouch"
Kate
"Well don't do that."
Kate
"I'll be right back."
NURSE'S DESK
Daniel
"Attacked? When?"
Melanie
"A few hours ago. Rex paged you. He wanted you to examine Phillip. He got hit in the head. Sami found him close to Lucas' room."
Daniel
"So wait. Phillip was attacked at the hospital?"
Melanie
"Yeah."
The wheels in Daniel's head begin to turn in his head.
Daniel
"Chloe being attacked, that's Phillip's fault. This is the DiMera's retaliation for Phillip running Nicole over."
Melanie
"What? No. Nicole is friends with Phillip and Chloe. I don't see Stefano or EJ ordering hits or whatever on them."
Daniel
"You do know that Nicole lies and is very manipulative. Who's to say she wouldn't just turn on them?"
Melanie
"I don't think so plus Kate's married to Stefano. He wouldn't hurt her son no matter what he did. Especially for Nicole who no one really likes except Phillip and Chloe."
Daniel
"Where is Phillip? I think it's time I examine him."
Kate walks out of Phillip's room. Melanie stares at her in shock. Daniel notices and turns around angrily. Kate notices Daniel's face.
Kate
"What's wrong?"
Daniel's face scrunches up as we stomps his way towards Kate. He walks passed her and enters Phillip's room. Phillip looks at him.
Phillip
"Daniel, are you alright?"
Daniel
"You son of a bitch."
Phillip is confused.
UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL WAITING ROOM
Gus walks over to Bo and Stephanie. Bo awaits Stephanie's answer.
Stephanie
"No, I did not drug Vivian. And I can't believe that you would think that I would do something like that."
Gus
"You were there this morning and you were not happy with Vivian at all."
Stephanie
"Yeah because of what she did, but I didn't try to kill her."
Gus
"If you did, I will find out."
Bo
"Ok that's enough both of you."
Victor walks up.
Victor
"What's going on here?"
They look over at Victor.
Gus
"Victor, you made it down finally."
Victor
"Excuse me?"
Gus
"Vivian is in there fighting for her life."
Victor
"What the hell happened to her?"
Gus
"She was drugged and now she's in a coma."
Victor looks at Bo.
Victor
"Is this true?"
Bo
"Yes."
Victor
"Do you know who did it?"
Gus
"We're looking at her."
Victor looks around and sees Stephanie.
Victor
"Stephanie? Vivian can turn anyone crazy, but I don't see Stephanie drugging her."
Gus
"Well she did. She was the last person to be around Vivian."
Victor
"Well you're always around. How do we know you didn't do it?"
Stephanie
"That's a good question."
Gus
"I would never hurt Vivian unlike the two of you."
Bo
"Alright that's enough."
Gus, Stephanie, and Victor look over at Bo.
Bo
"We don't know who did it."
Stephanie
"So you think I'm innocent?"
Bo's about to answer, but is interrupted by Gus.
Gus
"You were the last one at the mansion before Vivian passed out."
Bo tries to speak again, but this time interrupted by Stephanie.
Stephanie
"No I think that was you."
Gus gives Stephanie an evil look as she smirks at him.
Bo
"Can I speak?"
Stephanie
"Are we done here? I would like to get back to work."
Bo
"Fine."
Stephanie walks away.
Gus
"You're just going to let her get away?"
Bo
"She's not going far and there's no proof that she did it."
Gus
"You're just going to let her get away with it because she's your niece. Screw this."
Gus walks off.
Victor
"Well he's upset about Vivian."
Bo
"And you're not."
Victor
"Why the hell should I be? I applaud whoever had the balls to off her."
Bo
"She's still alive."
Victor
"What a shame."
Bo shakes his head.
PHILLIP'S ROOM
Kate and Melanie rush in.
Kate
"Daniel, what the hell is wrong with you?"
Melanie
"Dad, calm down."
Daniel
"Calm down? After what this bastard did?"
Phillip
"What do you think I did?"
Daniel
"You're the reason Chloe's laying in a hospital bed."
Phillip
"Chloe's in the hospital? What happened?"
Daniel
"Looks like she was stabbed in the stomach."
Kate
"Oh my…the baby."
Phillip
"How the hell is that my fault? I would never put Chloe in danger."
Daniel
"You ran over Nicole. This is the DiMera's revenge."
Kate
"What? No, Stefano nor EJ would hurt Phillip or even Chloe for that matter."
Daniel
"And you want me to believe that? It's no coincidence that Phillip and Chloe both were attacked within hours of each other just hours after Phillip got off for running down Nicole."
Phillip
"Nicole's my friend. She helped me get off."
Daniel
"Yeah so she can get her ultimate revenge. Kill Chloe's baby."
Phillip
"That's my baby too."
Daniel
"You don't deserve Chloe or that baby. You're a pathetic little child that has had everything handed to him. You don't care about anyone but yourself. Not Melanie, not Chloe, not even that baby that she's carrying. You don't deserve anything that is good in life."
Kate
"Alright that's enough."
Kate yells. She gets in Daniel's face.
Kate
"You're not going to talk to my son that way. I understand you're upset about Chloe and the baby, but you have no right to go off on Phillip. You don't know why she was attacked but I'm sure it has nothing to do with Phillip."
Daniel breathes heavily.
Kate
"So if you're going to continue to act like this then you need to get the hell out of this room and don't come back."
Kate points to the door. Daniel glares at Phillip intently with disgust before turning around and leaving the room. Melanie takes a deep breath then follows him out. Daniel leans on the nurse's desk outside of Phillip's room. Melanie walks up behind him.
Melanie
"Did you really have to do that?"
Daniel turns around.
Daniel
"You're going to take his side after all that he did to you?"
Melanie
"It doesn't matter what happened between Phillip and I he doesn't deserve that. He's not the reason why Chloe was attacked."
Daniel
"And what makes you think that? You have no proof that he didn't."
Melanie
"And you have no proof that he did."
Daniel pauses.
Daniel
"You know what? I don't want to see your face right now."
Melanie can't believe what her father is saying to her. Daniel swallows her then walks away. Melanie tears up.
CHLOE'S ROOM
Rex was able to stop the bleeding. Chloe lies in the bed silently. Belle sits by her side holding her hand as Nathan checks her vitals.
Nathan
"Chloe's stable."
Rex
"It was lucky that the bastard that stabbed her missed the baby completely."
Belle
"Yes thank God. How much longer do you think she'll be out?"
Chloe begins to stir.
Belle
"Chloe?"
Chloe opens her eyes.
Chloe
"Why am I in the hospital? What happened?"
Chloe remembers being stabbed.
Chloe
"Oh no. My baby."
She rubs her belly.
Belle
"Your baby is fine."
Chloe
"But I was stabbed."
Belle
"The knife missed the baby."
Chloe
"Really?"
Chloe looks around.
Rex
"Yeah really."
Chloe smiles.
Chloe
"Phillip, how is he doing? Melanie called and said he got hit over the end."
Belle
"Phillip's doing great. He's just down the hall."
Chloe
"I want to see him."
Rex
"I'll go get him."
Chloe
"Thank you Rex."
Rex leaves the room.
Nathan
"I will leave you two ladies to talk."
Nathan also leaves.
Belle
"Mimi was here also, but she had to go check on some patients. She'll be back in later."
Chloe
"Wow everyone all worried about little ole me."
Belle
"That's what friends are for."
Chloe and Belle smile at one another.
NURSE'S STATION
Melanie tries to continue her work, but can't get the fight with her dad out of her mind. She begins to cry when Nathan walks up.

"What's wrong?"
Melanie looks at Nathan then rushes over to hug him. He hugs her back.
PHILLIP'S ROOM
Phillip
"The nerve of him thinking this is my fault. For all we know he did it."
Kate
"Calm down. There's no use getting all upset about this. Daniel's gone."
Rex interrupts.
Rex
"Sorry to interrupt."
Kate
"It's fine."
Phillip
"How's Chloe?"
Rex
"She's awake and asking for you."
Phillip
"I want to see her."
Rex walks over to help Phillip out of bed.
Kate
"Well I'm glad that Chloe is doing fine."
Phillip
"I'm sure you are mom."
Phillip says as he gets to his feet.
Kate
"Of course I am. Why wouldn't I? She's carrying my grandchild."
Kate smiles innocently.
Phillip
"I can believe you care about the baby, but not Chloe."
Kate
"Well you know how I feel about her and that will never change."
Phillip and Rex shake their heads then walk out of the room.

"Why do my sons fall in love with sluts?"
CHLOE'S ROOM
Chloe and Belle are joking as Phillip and Rex walk in. Belle looks over and see them and gets Chloe's attention. She looks over and locks eyes with Phillip. He smiles at her. He walks over to her and hugs her then they both touch her belly.

"The baby fine."
Phillip
"I'm glad that you both are fine."
Belle awes.
Rex
"If you guys want to, you can find out the sex of the baby."
Chloe and Phillip look at one another.
Chloe
"Do you want to know?"
Phillip
"Do you?"
Belle
"Yes I do"
Belle jumps up and says. Everyone laughs.
Chloe
"Yes Rex, we want to the baby's sex."
Rex
"Alright then."
Rex walks over and sets up for the ultrasound. He places the gel on Chloe's belly then works the wand over her belly.
Rex
"That's a strong heartbeat."
Everyone smiles as they watch the baby on the monitor. They get a good shot of the baby to see the sex.
Rex
"Well there you have it."
Belle
"It's a girl."
Belle jumps up and down. Phillip and Chloe smile at one another.
NURSE'S STATION
Nathan and Melanie continue to hug.
Nathan
"What's wrong? Is it Chloe or Phillip?"
Melanie
"No they're fine. It's my dad."
They stop hugging at look at one another. Nathan wipes the tears from her eyes.
Nathan
"Did something happen to him?"
Melanie
"He went off on Phillip about Chloe. He thinks that Chloe's attack has something to do with Phillip running over Nicole."
Nathan
"Why? That doesn't even make sense."
Melanie
"He thinks the DiMera's have something to do with it."
Nathan
"But Kate's married to Stefano and I'm sure he cares more about Kate than Nicole and who's the say Nicole's even carrying EJ's kid?"
Melanie
"I don't know. He was so mad and…"
Melanie tries not to cry.
Melanie
"He said he didn't want to look at my face."
Nathan hugs her again.
Nathan
"I'm sorry you guys got into a fight."
Melanie
"Thanks."
Nathan
"You know your dad has a point though."
Melanie
"How?"
Nathan
"I don't think it's a coincidence that Phillip and Chloe both got attacked at the hospital within hours of each other."

"You're right. I wonder what the connection is."
Nathan and Melanie hug again as Stephanie walks off the elevator. She stops and watches them hug with an evil look on her face.
UNIVERSITY BREAK ROOM
Maxine walks up as Daniel pours himself some coffee.
Maxine
"Hey Dr. Jonas, everything alright?"
Daniel looks over at her.
Daniel
"Yeah I guess."
Maxine
"I heard about Chloe. It seems like Dr. Brady took very good care of her. She and the baby will be alright."
Daniel
"That's good to hear."
Daniel takes a sip of his coffee.
Maxine
"I also heard you were very upset about it."
Daniel
"Yeah I was."
Maxine
"Could it be you're still in love with her?"
Daniel pauses.
Daniel
"Yeah you're right. I am still in love with Chloe."
Belle walks in and hears.
Maxine
"Well then you should tell her before its too late."
Maxine says. She looks at Daniel before walking off. After she leaves, Belle walks over to Daniel.

"So you're in love with Chloe?"
Daniel looks at her.
Belle
"I'm sorry to tell you, but she's off limits."
Belle crosses her arms. Daniel seems confused.
UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL WAITING ROOM
Kate walks off the elevator and sees Victor. She walks over to him.
Kate
"Victor, there you are."
He turns around.
Kate
"I've been trying to call you."
Victor
"Yeah I saw."
Kate
"You didn't think to call me back?"
Victor
"Not really."
Kate
"Well it's about your son."
Victor
"What about him?"
Kate
"He was attacked earlier."
Victor
"Is he ok?"
Kate
"Yeah he's fine. He's in Chloe's room."
Victor
"Chloe's room? Here?"
Kate
"Yeah."

"What happened to her?"
Kate
"Someone stabbed her."

"And she survived? Damn."
Kate
"She's carrying our grandchild."

"Don't remind me. I'm still hoping she slept around with someone else so Phillip can be free of her."

"I wish that too, but it's not true. We can only hope that Phillip will open his eyes and take that baby away from Chloe and kick her to the curve when the baby's born."

"Yeah because he did so well with that other one he had. What's his face?"

"Tyler?"

"Yeah, where is he at?"

"I don't know."

"That poor kid has no idea what he or she is in store for."

"So what are we going to do?"
Victor
"Nothing until Chloe pops it out."

"Unfortunately."

"Well one good thing happened today."

"Someone poisoned Vivian."
Victor smiles and laughs a little.

"Is she dead?"

"Not yet. She's in a coma."

"Your concern is so touching."

"Don't tell me you're going soft."

"No just thought you would be smart enough to act like you're sad to throw suspicion off yourself."

"That wouldn't work. I'm not that good of an actor. Plus Bo already knows how I feel about her."

"So who did it?"
Victor
"No clue, but whoever it is. I want to give them a medal."
Kate laughs.
CHLOE'S ROOM
Chloe
"We're going to have a girl."
Phillip
"And she's going to be just as beautiful as her mother."
Chloe
"She's going to look like you too."
Phillip
"Why would you want any features from this ugly mug?"
Chloe
"You're not ugly."
Phillip
"I know. I'm hot."
They laugh then Chloe gets serious.
Chloe
"I was so scared when Melanie called me and told me about you."
Phillip
"Melanie called you?"
Chloe
"Yeah I couldn't believe it either, but I'm glad."
Phillip and Chloe gaze at one another before moving closer to one another and slow begin to kiss.
JAN'S ROOM
Mimi's checking Jan's vitals when Rex comes in.

"Taking care of Jan again."
Mimi closes Jan's file then turns to Rex.

"Well I'm going to check on Lucas then we can leave for the Salem Inn."
