Once the family was dressed they all headed to the mall. Sammy talked all the way about how excited she was about being a big sister. "I can't wait, I'm gonna teach him how to play games and how to read, and we can go swimming and have water fights." Sara and Grissom just smiled. They arrived at the mall and went to the nearest baby clothes store. Sammy spotted a spider onesie and begged her parents to get it for baby Kellan. Sammy put on her best puppy dog look. "Of course honey" Grissom said. Sammy put the onesie in the basket Grissom was holding. She took her moms hand and they both searched for more cute baby clothes while Grissom followed behind. A little over an hour later they went to pay for the clothes. They got 3 onsies a spider, caterpillar and tiger as well as 6 trousers, 10 tops, a couple hats, 3 jumpers and lots of socks and vests. The bill came to $120. Grissom carried the bags as they went to the next shop this time to get some clothes for Sammy as a special treat for being so good. Sara spotted a pale blue dress with silver ladybugs all around the bottom. Next to it was a pale blue cardigan with a silver butterfly on it. She got them both and put them in the basket that Grissom again was carrying. "Thank you mommy I love them" Sammy said and gave her mom a kiss on the cheek. "You're welcome honey, now let's go and get you some blue shoes and tights." Sammy smiled and they both went to find some while Grissom again followed behind them. An hour later they paid for the clothes. They got a pair of blue shoes as well as a pair of silver and red shoes. She also got 3 skirts, some trousers, 5 shorts, 7 tops, 4 jumpers, a new blue hat and some socks. "Thank you mommy, thank you daddy" Sammy said then gave them both a hug and kiss. "you're welcome honey, now let's go and get mommy some new clothes and daddy some new slippers because Hank chewed my other pair. " Sammy giggled as she remembered Hank chewing her daddy's slippers. "Can we hurry then cause my feet hurt" Sara said. The family spent another hour shopping then went home and watched the Simpsons for the rest of the afternoon.
