IT'S THE END
Nathan is attempting to leave his hospital bed, but is stopped by Stephanie.
Stephanie
"You can't get out of bed."
Nathan
"I need to find Melanie. Not that you care."
Stephanie
"My uncle Bo is handling it and I do care."
Nathan
"Yeah right."
Stephanie
"Melanie and I have our differences, but I don't wish her harm."
Nathan
"Whatever. Go away."
Stephanie
"I was just checking on you."
Nathan
"Well you see me. Now leave."
Stephanie
"Fine."
She turns to walk out of her room. Nathan walks behind him the pushes her out. She turns around to face him.
Stephanie
"So rude. I was just trying to see if you were alright."
Nathan
"Again I'm fine. I just need to find Melanie."
Stephanie
"Well good luck. I hope you don't keel over."
Nathan
"Again, whatever."
Nathan walks slowly to the elevator. Stephanie follows him. He gets to the elevator then presses the down button.
Stephanie
"You're so rude and I shouldn't care, but you should really get some rest."
Nathan
"I will not rest until Melanie is back with me safely. Now please, please go away."
Nathan says as the elevator opens up. Suddenly, Stephanie gets pulled in by a masked assailant . Before Nathan could get in, the doors close. He rapidly hits the down button with no success. He moves as fast as he can towards the stairs. Inside the elevator, Stephanie desperately tries to get away from her assailant. She kicks him just as the door opens. She rushes out into the parking garage as her assailant rushes after her. Nathan rushes out of the stairwell. He attempts to stop the assailant, but he knocks him out. Stephanie stops and turns around to help Nathan. The assailant grabs her then stuffs her and Nathan stuff them in the back of a van then drives off. At the Kiriakis mansion, Aaron shows up to speak to Victor.
Henderson
"Sir, Alex Santiago for you."
Victor
"Bring him in."
Victor finishes his drink as Aaron walks in.
Henderson
"I will be on the other side of the mansion if you need me."
Victor
"Very well."
Victor says as Henderson walks away.
Victor
"What can I do for you Mr. Santiago?"
Aaron/Alex
"I just wanted to let you know in person that I don't want to work with you. I picked a different supplier."
Victor
"Let me guess, Stefano DiMera."
Aaron/Alex
"How do you know that?"
Victor
"Because I know that snake was trying to get you before I could."
Aaron/Alex
"Well he got me and you didn't. It was a pleasure talking business with you."
Victor
"Well it no pleasure for me."
Aaron/Alex
"Why do you have to be like that?"
Victor
"Like what? Get the hell out of my house Aaron McCormick."
Victor yells as he pours himself another drink.
Aaron/Alex
"What did you call me?"
Victor finishes pouring his drink then looks at Aaron.
Victor
"You heard me. I know all about you and it's only a matter of time before Stefano knows and maybe even worse EJ. Then you will be the one on the losing in. Alex Santiago. Ha, nice name."
Victor chuckles then takes a sip of his drink. Aaron gets mad then pulls out his gun and points it at Victor. Then pulls the trigger. Victor falls to the ground. Aaron walks over and looks down at Victor's body as he begins to bleed out.
Aaron/Alex
"I always get the last laugh."
Aaron smiles as he puts his gun away then walks out of the mansion. Across town, the assailant arrives at an abandoned warehouse. He gets out then opens the back and pulls Nathan out throws him on the ground. Stephanie sits back in fear. The assailant holds out his hand for Stephanie to take. She swallows hard then scoots towards the end of the van and takes the assailants hand. He helps her out of the van. The assailant then kicks Nathan.
Stephanie
"Please, don't hurt him."
She yells. The assailant looks at Stephanie.
Stephanie
"Who are you?"
She asks nervously.
Assailant
"Help him up and follow me. Then all your questions will be answered."
Stephanie kneels down to help Nathan help. They both get to their feet then follow the assailant further into the warehouse. They soon see someone laying on the ground unconscious.
Nathan
"Melanie?"
Stephanie
"Oh my gosh."
Nathan limps over to Melanie. He falls to the ground near her and holds her in his arms.
Nathan
"What the hell did you do to her?"
He yells. Stephanie glares at them then looks at their assailant.
Stephanie
"Tell us who you are now."
She demands.
The Assailant
"As you wish."
The assailant takes off his mask. Stephanie's shocked.
Stephanie
"Oh my gosh. Owen?"
Owen
"Yes it's me baby. I missed you."
Stephanie panics. Chloe is talking with Phillip on the phone as she arrives at the Kiriakis mansion.
Chloe
"Yeah I just got home. Hurry up. I'll be waiting. Bye."
Chloe hangs up with Phillip as she walks into the living room. She's checking her messages when she trips and falls. She's shocked when she sees Victor on the ground.
Chloe
"Oh my gosh. Victor!"
She screams. She crawls over to him and checks his pulse.
Chloe
"Oh good, you're still breathing."
She crawls over to get her phone to call 911.
Chloe
"Hello? Yes. Um…Victor Kiriakis has been shot. I think. He's bleeding a lot."
The 911 operator gives Chloe instructions to help Victor. She grabs her scarf and puts it over Victor's bullet hole and applies pressure on it.
Chloe
"Come on Victor, you don't die on me."
Back at the warehouse, Owen tries to hug Stephanie, but she takes a step back.
Owen
"What's wrong? Didn't you miss me?"
Stephanie
"Why would I miss you? You kidnapped me and kept me in a morgue."
Owen
"But I took great care of you."
Nathan
"What the hell did you do to Melanie?"
Nathan yells interrupting. Owen stares angrily at Nathan.
Owen
"Who the hell cares about that bitch? After all that she's done."
Nathan
"Don't call her that you psycho."
Stephanie
"Wait."
Stephanie says as she turns around.
Stephanie
"It was you. You were the one that attacked everyone?"
Nathan pauses.
Owen
"Well of course."
Stephanie
"But why?"
Owen
"It was all because of you."
Stephanie
"Me?"
Owen
"Yes all these people hurting you. I had to make them pay."
Stephanie stares confusedly.
Owen
"Vivian Alamain. She poisoned Chloe Lane's mind and made he think that Daniel Jonas cheating on her with his baby momma Carly Manning. So I decided to poison her. Then I hit Phillip Kiriakis over the head because he played mind games with you Stephanie and Melanie. Stabbed Chloe because her baby is the reason why her affair with Phillip got exposed. Too bad I missed that baby. Then I drugged Nathan and Melanie. Making them weak and vulnerable like they made you Stephanie. I kidnapped Melanie because without her around, your live is so much better. I was going to come after you next, but that blonde chick was attacking you so I had to take her out. Then get rid of her body."
Stephanie
"You killed Jamie?"
Nathan
"Jamie?"
Stephanie
"She was Eddie Saunders's wife."
Owen
"Oh yes Eddie Saunders. I forgot about him."
Stephanie
"What do you mean?"
Owen
"I killed him too."
Stephanie
"I thought…"
Owen
"You killed him? No. He got up after you left. I went to see you and there he was in your apartment gloating how he was going to get you in bed. So before he could leave to go after you, I did what any normal person would and killed the jerk."
Stephanie
"Normal people don't kill people. Eddie was jerk, but didn't deserve to die."
Owen
"Yes he did and I killed him."
Owen reaches behind him and pulls out his gun. He points it at Nathan and Melanie.
Owen
"And now I'm going to kill the two of them then we can run off together."
Victor is rushed into the hospital with Chloe close behind. Lexie rushes over to check on Victor.
Lexie
"Let's get him into the OR."
They roll him towards the OR. Chloe takes a deep breath as Phillip rushes in.
Phillip
"Chloe!"
He yells as he rushes behind her. She turns around.
Phillip
'What happened?"
Chloe
"Somebody shot your father."
Phillip
"What the hell?"
Chloe
"I just found him on the ground. I applied pressure to his wound. I hope it was enough. I'm so sorry."
Chloe starts to cry.
Phillip
"It's not your fault. It's whoever shot my dad's fault and I'm going to find them and kill them."
Phillip and Chloe hug. At the warehouse, Owen points his gun at Nathan and Melanie.
Owen
"Time to say goodbye."
Stephanie
"Wait."
Stephanie shouts. Owen pauses.
Stephanie
"You can't kill them."
Owen
"Why not? You hate Melanie and Nathan broke your heart."
Stephanie
"So what? That doesn't mean that you should kill them."
Owen
"Of course it does."
Owen starts to walk towards Nathan and Melanie. Stephanie grabs him and turns him around and pulls him into a kisses causing him to drop his gun. Nathan rushes over and grabs the gun. Owen pushes Stephanie away and stares at Nathan who points his gun at him.
Owen
"So you're going to shoot me know?"
Nathan
"Maybe, maybe not."
Owen
"You don't have the balls."
Nathan puts his finger on the trigger as Owen jumps on him. Nathan drops the gun. Stephanie grabs it as they roll around on the ground. Owen ends up on top and starts to punch Nathan.
Stephanie
"Stop it or I'll shoot."
Stephanie yells. Owen looks up at her as she points the gun at him. He stand up and walks over to Stephanie.
Owen
"You wouldn't shoot me."
Stephanie
"Yes I will."
Owen slaps Stephanie then takes the gun for her. He points it at Nathan on the ground.
Stephanie
"NO!"
She shouts as the gun goes off. Stephanie beings to cry. Owen drops his gun on the ground then falls down. Stephanie stares in confusion. Then she hears "Got him." She turns around and sees Bo standing there.
Stephanie
"Uncle Bo."
Shawn walks over, kicks Owen's gun away from him, and checks his pulse.
Shawn
"He's dead."
Shawn confirms. Carly rushes in.
Carly
"Melanie!"
She yells as she rushes to Melanie's side. Bo hugs Stephanie as Maggie rushes to Nathan's side.
Stephanie
"How did you guys know where to find us?"
Bo
"Nathan called me."
Nathan
"Yeah I just dialed him. Once we got here."
Bo
"Yeah I heard everything. I was able to track him from the call."
Maggie
"Oh goodness. You all could have been killed."
Nathan
"I'm fine Grandma."
Carly
"Thank God."
Carly and Bo look at one another. Nathan and Melanie were rushed to the hospital to get checked out. They laid side by side in an exam room. Nathan gazes at Melanie as she opens her eyes. She looks at him.
Melanie
"What happened?"
Nathan
"We were drugged, kidnapped, and almost killed."
Melanie
"What? Seriously?"
Nathan
"But we're fine now."
Melanie
"Aright then."
They smile at one another. Stephanie walks in and interrupts.
Stephanie
"Sorry to interrupt."
She says as she walks up to the stretchers.
Nathan
"It's fine."
Stephanie
"Melanie, you're awake."
Melanie
"Yeah. I seemed to have missed all the fun."
Stephanie
"Yeah. I just wanted to say that I wanted to apologize for everything that I've done. I hope that after everything that's happened in the last few weeks and especially today, we can call a truce."
Nathan and Melanie look at one another then at Stephanie.
Melanie
"I think that's a great idea."
Stephanie
"Really?"
Nathan
"Yes."
Stephanie walks between their stretches. She kneels down beside them and holds their hands. On the other side of the hospital, Lexie comes out of the OR to give Phillip and Chloe an update on Victor.
Phillip
"How is he?"
Lexie
"The surgery was a success. Victor is going to be just fine."
Phillip and Chloe breathe a sigh of relief.
Phillip
"Thank God."
Lexie
"Yes. Thank him and Chloe."
Chloe
"Me? You operated on him. I just did what the 911 operator said."
Lexie
"Yeah, but without you doing that and getting there so soon after it happen, Victor would have been dead before I could even operate on him."
Chloe
"Wow."
Phillip
"Can I see him?"
Lexie
"Sure, you both can go in."
Lexie states as she walks away.
Phillip
"Will you come in with me?"
Chloe hesitates.
Phillip
"Come on, he's probably still out of it."
Chloe
"Ok."
Chloe takes Phillips hand as they head into Victor's room. As they walk in they see Victor hooked up to machines. They walk up to his bedside as he opens his eyes.
Victor
"Phillip?"
Phillip
"Yeah it's me, dad."
Victor looks over and sees Chloe.
Victor
"What's she doing here?"
Phillip looks over at Chloe then back at Victor.
Phillip
"She saved your life."
Victor
"What?"
Phillip
"She applied pressure to your wound and called 911 to get you here in time for Lexie to operate."
Chloe swallows hard as Victor stares at her.
Phillip
"Isn't there something you want to say?"
Victor pauses as he continues to stare at Chloe.
Victor
"Thank you Chloe."
Chloe's shocked.
Chloe
"Um…you're welcome."
Victor gives her a small smile.
