All of a sudden the apartment door opened and inspector Lestrade with the armed forces.

"For god sake! Lestrade what are you doing here?" Sherlock barked.

"We got a call from a neighbour saying there was a murder- before you ask it was Mrs Hudson." It took him a minute to realise that the murderer was sitting next to the detective. "Valetina Swansea, what the hell is going on? Arrest her."

The armed men pointed their guns at the assassin, she did not struggle, and she just held her hands in surrender. "Lestrade she's my client you can't arrest my client." Sherlock protested.

"I don't care, she is wanted for murder, and I have no choice. I'm sorry Sherlock." He handcuffed the dark haired women.

"Sherlock it's okay. And Inspector Lestrade in my left pocket is my CIA and FBI badge." He did as he was told and she was right her badges of these secret organisations were in the pocket.
"Why do you have these?" Lestrade asked simply.
"Because I work with them occasionally. Should we go?"

"Seriously you're gonna come willingly. No gun shot out. Nothing."

"Why would I it's just too much trouble."
"I give up. Come on." Lestrade grabbed Valetina and escorted her in to the cop car.

-The detective vs. The Assassin-

"Give us something Sherlock. She's made of stone nothing we do make her talk." Sally Donavon questioned.
"Why would I do that? What she does is nothing to do with me. I am her detective not her father."

"Because you help Scotland Yard that's what you do."

"Yes I do but my clients past are confidential. And whatever id o won't make a difference she's been in Russia and Korea two of the best countries when it comes to torture. She was tortured in both countries for six months about the English spy service, she said nothing and you want to know something she still wakes up in the middle of the nights screaming because the torture was that incredibly painful."

"I'm sorry I asked." Sally muttered.

"How did you know that Valetina was tortured in Russia? "John asked looking through the window into the conversation room where Valetina right wrist was handcuffed to the table. Lestrade was running a hand through his grey hair, frustrated.

"Because I was in Russia at the same time. It was during the two years I was dead. I and she were tortured together." He replied without turning to look at his friend. He was looking intently at Valetina.

"Then how do you know she cries in the night."
"Because I do. She goes to therapy every week."
"How do you know that? Oh just tell me anyways let me guess you know because of her left hand"

"No, when Lestrade took out the badges her Therapists card fell out as well. And she's been tortured of course she needs a therapist."

On the other side of the glass Lestrade was losing the will to live.

"For the love of God, please give us something."

"Why would I do that? I came willingly down to Scotland Yard, but you won't get anything out of me. "
"We can torture you into giving us information." Lestrade suggested.

"Yeah good luck with that I've been tortured in Russia, I didn't give up information now and I defiantly won't tell the kind and polite British anything because you are the worst at torture. And you can't imprison me because I have friends in government. You have nothing against me."

"I may have nothing against you but I can hold you for 24 hours. Just tell us information and you can leave."
"I'm safer in here than I am outside. Anyway you don't trust me" to empathise this she rattled the handcuffs "so how can you trust my information?"

"Why are you safer in here than out there?"
"Why would you care?" she laughed. "You think I'm a murder who's safe because everyone is scared of me; I'm not safe I have enemies."
"If you give us info maybe we could protect you." He sat across from her. They were finally getting somewhere.

"If Sherlock and the greatest Secret agents can't protect me how can Scotland yard?" Valetina said sadly, she wished they could help. "I really hope you can help, ask me a question. "Sherlock ponded on the window. "Don't tell him anything." But they couldn't hear him.

"Why shouldn't she tell them anything?" It was Mary. The heavily pregnant ex-assassin.
"Mary-you're here." John hugged her.
"Yeah, I was picked up by Sally. She said you have an Assassin as a client. So can I see her?"

"Why would you want to see her?" John asked nervously.
"Because I know Valery, I was her mentor and she made me disappear. I just want to see her again." Mary stood next to john looking at the assassin.

"Of course my wife the Assassin trained the greatest Assassin in the world. Just my luck." John threw up his arms.
"Honey" she cooed.
"She has a past that should remain hidden. You'll find out later what she did but just listen now." Roxy hushed.

-The detective vs. The Assassin-

"How did you and Mr Holmes Meet?"

Valetina raised an eyebrow "you're kidding right. You could have asked any question and you ask that?" she took a deep breath and signed. "Fine I met him three years ago. I met him when I was dating Jim Moriarty…"

"Sherlock did you hear that she was Jim Moriaty's lover."

"I was the one who covered up her death. She was Jade Green. You that blonde woman with brown eyes that was with Moriaty every time we saw him and used to plant kisses on everyone. And they never had…she's a virgin."

"I can't believe that she was Jade. That Psychopath who always flirted with you. I don't know who loved you more Green or Moriaty.

"Did you date Moriaty for a mission or pleasure?" he asked, intruded finally.

"Neither had I dated him because I hated Sherlock Holmes and I was giving Jim information on him. I was a psycho okay."

"Why are you helping some-one who sold you out to your nemesis? Mary asked, as Valetina never showed any resentment towards Holmes while she was teaching her.

"Because she saw that she was on the wrong side. She stayed with Moriaty but gave us some of his plans and in return she fed him false facts about me. He didn't believe the facts but he denied this because he had a soft spot for Jade."

"Why did you join our side?" Lestrade asked after he heard the same story from Swansea.

"Because I learned the truth about something that made me hates the Holmes brothers with a burning passion. And I won't reveal what the truth is it would put everyone I love in danger."

"What made you an assassin?" Lestrade asked his last question

"Trust me; I didn't want to be one. I graduated from Oxford at the age of 15. And because I was so young Mr Mycroft Holmes thought it would be safer to work in the secret service where my intelligence wouldn't be a danger. There I learned how to shot a gun with my eyes close and hit the target. I met my best friend Roxanne who was 17 she could speak seven languages at the age of 8-she's my translator- and then Mycroft told me I had to leave. I was leaving my family, of course I was furious and because I was trained to use a gun I was restrained. I was put on a plane with Roxanne my only company-she didn't need to come but she did that so I wouldn't be lonely. I was so grateful towards Roxanne she was leaving her life behind.

The worst part about being banished from England was that no-one told me why I had to leave. I was given a new life. A few names. I was British and when I was banished to America I developed an American accent." Her American accent was replaced by her normal British one. "Mr Holmes made me an FBI agent but I always resented him and his younger brother from that day forward. The reason why I am an assassin is well, making the world safer for children to grow up in not like I, who was pressured by government to become someone I didn't want to be. I was pressured into killing people whom the government feared or hated. They used my one weakness against me. Children. They told Meir I didn't do as I was told a child would die. I didn't believe them so I didn't kill a threat." Tears where in her eyes. "They assassinated an innocent child for my mistake so now I do whatever they ask because I know what they'll do. It was a child. He had a future, he may have been an orphan but he deserved to live. They killed orphans because they didn't see them as a loss to the country."

"We misjudged you. I thought you would be this tall, tattooed woman who would laugh at my questions and chuckle at the pain you cause.

-The detective vs. The Assassin-

"Those poor children. I had no idea they were threatening her to kill. Poor Valentina." Mary said sadly as the door opened and Valetana stepped out. "Valentina I'm so sorry. Why didn't you tell me?"

"I didn't want you to the worry...Mary?" She was not certain of what her mentor's new identity was. She only knew by the visitor badge she wore. "Oh my God I can't believe it's you. I've missed you. You were like a mum to me when I was in America." She looked down at Mrs Watson's bulb. "Congratulations Mary. I'm guessing girl."

"Yes I know so unexpected. An assassin having a baby but isn't it amazing." Mary squealed. "Man I've missed having women to talk too."

I never knew my best friend's wife was Valentina's teacher. I didn't even know Mary worked for the FBI. The detective thought.

"Did you help create Mary's new identity?" John asked walking closer to the assassin.
"No I couldn't it was too dangerous for either of us. If I knew her identity I could be torture d into giving it away. I knew she was in England and she wasn't dead. But that's all i knew." Lestrade handed over her CIA and FBI badges. Sherlock stood tall and proud waiting for the happy reunion to end.

"I'm Sorry that I was cold and defensive this morning. I'd seen you on TV and I guess I was scared you'd kill someone. Most likely my friend." John said holding out his hand.
"I would be scared too. But I would never hurt Sherlock. I care about him." She shook his hand.

She cares for him. No one cares for Sherlock. He's a loner but so is she.

"I just wanted to say I'm sorry about spending you to America but-" he was interrupted.

Now he's apologising. This must be some women to make him go against his pride like this. John couldn't believe this.

"I know why you did it I only wished you told me then. I now realise you couldn't because it would have ruined the plan."
"Come one we should go." Valentina7 said walking towards the exit.

They were about to leave Scotland Yard when a gunshot sounded of the walls. Another second later and the wall next to them were blown open. John and Roxy were crushed by the broken pieces of the wall. They were not moving. Lestrade and Donavon had their guns out ready and like before no other gun shots came. But this time there was a note. A note addressed to Miss Valentina Swansea.
