-Born to Love-

"Gray," Natsu called out to the ice mage sitting by his side who's currently reading a book.

The latter didn't bother to look, but acknowledge the presence with a small sound that he was listening.

The guild was practically empty, and the fire mage thought that it was a great opportunity to say it without quite embarrassing the other due to the exposure of having witnesses.

"I just wanted to say that ... I think I was born in this world to love you with all my heart."

Gray swiftly looked at him with bewilderment, wondering what brought this on all of a sudden.

Natsu regarded him with a genuine smile, love, happiness and endearment practically oozing from it.

"I love you, Gray."

The ice maker's face flushed red and was not quite sure what his expression should be in these kinds of situations. With a small smile, he leaned forward and decided on planting a quick kiss on the lips.

"Then, thank you for being born."

After saying this, Gray lowered his head and turned away to resume his reading for he didn't want the other to see whatever weird expression he was sporting.

The dragon slayer looked at him, surprised. He did not expected such a response, or even, a response at all. Unable to contain the joy bubbling inside of him, a rather awkward grin broke out on his features, so he laid his head down on the table to hide it.

He managed to blurt out, mumbled as it may have been from his position, "Damn it, I really am madly in love with you!"

The ice mage's temperature rose, and the dark red hue on his cheeks were evident. He didn't need to say anything in return to that blunt exclaim, but the embarrassment stayed, and so did a small smile.

"Geez, those two are so embarrassing sometimes," Lucy commented, a couple tables back from her two teammates. Watching their little exchange of affection.

"They're young, they can't help themselves. They have just started dating only a couple of months ago after all," Erza stated, enjoying her plate of strawberry shortcake.

Lucy ended their conversation with huff and looked back to the couple.

Young love, huh.

There's that 'young love' again. So cheesy of me. OTL

I know I haven't updated for a long time, and no amount of apologizing would be enough. For those of you who has been following and/or favourited me a long time ago, I can't thank you enough! Your supports and comments cheers me up! And for those who had just followed and/or favourited me, you will find that I'm slow in updating (it's been years, I know), but regardless, I really do appreciate the supports!

I will TRY to update at least once a week or once every two months. There's still so many things to be done, and I'm still trying to find a way to prioritize myself. And failing at it.

As for the series fics ... All I can really say is that I'm working on it. I just can't satisfy myself with the results Since I'm trying to improve my writing style. Been reading a lot of other fanfics because novels (most of the time) makes me fall asleep ... OTL
