A/N: Hey guys! First off, I'd like to apologize for not updating in over a month… I am REALLY sorry for that! I just got completely caught up in school work, which didn't seem to end, so I never got any time to write:( I also had a LOT of writers block;( I am really, really sorry!

Don't forget to favorite, follow, and leave PLENTY of reviews!

So, Anyways, I really don't have much to say, except for a ***SPOILER WARNING***This does not contain explicit spoilers, but there might be a few. This is supposed to take place after the last episode of Merlin, so nothing canon really happens. You might conclude as to what happened in the last episode, so if you don't already know what happens at the end, then do not read!

-I do NOT own Merlin or any of the actors-

"Arthur?" Merlin gasped under his breath as he steadied his feet on the soggy ground.

Silence hung in the air like a thick miasma as the old wizard saw someone resembling his best friend from the past.

"Not quite…" Bradley stated, looking down at his damp boots.

"Then who are you?" Merlin questioned, "And why are you here?" Merlin motioned to Colin. "Was I really that scrawny?" He mumbled under his breath.

Bradley gave a soft chuckle at the comment, which he really wasn't supposed to hear and Colin shot him an annoyed look.

"It's sort of complicated." Colin stated, breaking eye contact with Bradley.

"Please, do tell. I've got time." The wizard motioned with his hands for the two strangers to carry on.

"Well…"

The two actors and the 'retired' wizard sat in a quaint coffee shop that was a short walk from Avalon fifteen minutes after a brief conversation at the waterside.

During the entire walk from Avalon to the café, the two actors noticed how Merlin continued to stare at Bradley.

Now, the three sat at a coffee-stained table, with steaming beverages in hand.

"So… You two are just actors?" Merlin clarified solemnly.

"Yep." Colin replied.

"And you're from a different… dimension?" Merlin continued.

"Yep."

"And everything that's happened is just a show on the telly?"

"Yep."

"Oh." Merlin said, as he looked down at the still tea in the cardboard cup in his gloved hands.

Bradley and Colin exchanged confused and worried glances.

"What's wrong?" Bradley asked.

There was silence for a while before Merlin could muster the courage to say something.

"It's just… I thought you were him." Merlin said directly to Bradley.

The actor frowned in reply. He knew everything that had happened in explicit detail. Hell, he even felt some of the emotions that were happening in that last scene, as that show had impacted his life so greatly.

"I'm sorry." Bradley said so sincerely and apologetically. "I really, truly, am…" He trailed off.

"It's… it's not-… Don't." Merlin said as he struggled to find the right words.

"Hey," Colin intruded, "the tales of King Arthur still live on. Not just in our TV show. He could come back, you know." Colin said, trying to give the wizard some hope.

Merlin looked up at the actor, his eyebrows furrowed. "Are you serious?" He asked.

"Yes, of course! In many of the classic tales, Arthur comes back." Colin explained, a touch of excitement in his voice.

A weak smile grew upon Merlin's face as a small spark of hope re-lit within his chest.

"Thank you." Merlin said to the two actors.

The three found themselves back in Avalon, all teasing each other on past memories from the set, and from actually being in Camelot.

"-And all the times I got vegetables thrown at me!" Merlin exclaimed as he let out another boisterous laugh while he wiped a small tear from the corner of his eye. The actors laughed in return, also remembering all these times.

Quiet finally settled in the calm and mysterious scenery.

"Thank you, again." Merlin said to Bradley and Colin. "I think I just really needed to hear his voice." He said, more specifically to Bradley.

As Bradley stood, staring at Merlin, he felt a twinge of sadness creeping up on him again, and he sensed it in Merlin too. Knowing just what to do, Bradley pulled Merlin into a tight, warm hug. The two just stood there in their hug while Colin watched them, tears misting in his eyes.

The scenery was still as they had their moment. The mist clung to the air, as it refused to move on. The monument in the distance stood still while vines and plants consumed its walls. The grey water made soft splashes and waves.

That's when Colin turned around. Something was wrong. It was too loud. When they arrived at Avalon, the water was still, as well as the atmosphere around it. Colin walked further towards the edge of the water. He held his hand out a little to see if he noticed a breeze, but there was none. He looked behind him and couldn't see Bradley and Merlin's continued embrace. Colin looked back out to the water, and that's when he saw it:

The tip of a gleaming sward began to peak its way out of the murky grey of the lake. Despite the lack of sun, the sward continued to glow and shine. It came further out of the water as it came closer to the shore. When the handle finally emerged, Colin noticed a hand clinging to it. To the hand, there was an arm. It came closer, and closer, and when the face emerged. It was King Arthur Pendragon.

Colin's eyes widened as he continued to stare. He was at a loss for words.

Arthur's eyes met his, and the once and future king's face lit up. He ran from the water, completely dry, to stand in front of Colin.

Colin gulped as he stared at Arthur, and Arthur smiled.

"So, how long was I gone?" He asked, jokingly.

"Um… A bit…" Colin gulped.

That's when Arthur grabbed Colin into a grand hug, which left the 'scrawny' actor gasping for breath.

"Oi! Who's that?" Merlin asked as he slowly approached the two figures with Bradley at his side.

Arthur slowly released his hold on Colin as he recognized the voice.

"Wait…" He started. Arthur turned to see himself and an older Merlin step from the thick fog.

Bradley, and Merlin's eyes widened at the sight of the King.

That's when Colin chimed in.

"Urhm…" He started, "…Arthur's back…"

A/N: awe;) I'm a sucker for a happy ending. I was going to have the last line being Colin saying "Um… I found Arthur…" But I decided against it. PLEASE let me know what you think of this in the reviews! I didn't read over this, so please let me know if there are any errors or just general sucky-ness. So which fandom next? Let me know in the reviews, and I'll put your opinion into mind! I seriously read every single review and I appreciate .ONE OF THEM so LEAVE PLENTY! Don't ever think that you're bothering me with too many reviews, because i probably love you. And your comments sometimes give me more inspiration for the upcoming chapters So comment away!

Also, I got bored a while ago, so I made a playlist for "A Day in the Lives of Sherlock Holmes and John Watson". It's just the soundtracks, but yeah. I might make another one for Stranded with different music, but I'm not sure yet;)

Go to 8tracks dot com, and type in the search bar "a day in the lives of sherlock holmes and john watson", and it should pop up:)
