Hey guys. Ready for another fun week of freezing your asses off? I sure am~!
Damn, I really enjoyed writing Clutzy!Feli.
As the two pairs finished talking, they grouped back together, sitting down on the hoods of the cars, deciding to talk about what they should do next.
"Since it's the same hunters as before, I think we could get them to leave pretty easily. All we would have to do would be to flash our fangs and hiss a bit," Antonio said, leaning back on his hands.
Feliciano kicked his feet, letting them bounce off the rubber of the tires. "Veh, shouldn't we get the others to? Isn't it safer if we get more people?" he asked, looking in the Spaniard's general direction.
"What if they're a different kind of bastard and after all of us?" Lovino spoke up and asked. "…. Guess we can sacrifice the potato bastard to them."
Ludwig sighed and rubbed his forehead.
"No!" Feliciano yelped, jumping a little. He fell off the car onto the cold hard ground. "We aren't sacrificing anyone! We'll fight all together! I-I won't let them hurt Luddy!" He felt around until he found Ludwig's leg, then hugged it tightly.
Ludwig sighed and helped him up. "No one is being sacrificed… It's just your brother being himself…."
"P-Promise?" the werewolf asked with a whimper, putting out his hands in search of Ludwig's.
"Ja. I promise," Ludwig replied as he took Feliciano's hands while Lovino scoffed and crossed his arms.
Sniffing a little, Feliciano smiled up at where he guessed Ludwig's face was, glad that the German was with him. "Yay~. Thank you, Luddy~."
"You're welcome," Ludwig replied back, a small smile on his own face.
"So, what do we do?" Antonio asked, feeling a little annoyed and jealous of the love Ludwig was allowed to show Feliciano when he couldn't do the same for Lovino. "Go back to your house or wait here for someone to find us?"
"Home," Lovino spoke up. "Nonno has a shit-load of weapons too. Worse comes to worse we can use those."
Antonio nodded.
"Fratello? What can I do? I want to help," Feliciano said.
"Dump the potato bastard."
"Lovi!" the younger twin whined. "I'm serious! I can't just sit somewhere and do nothing! Veh, I want to fight too!"
"I'm being serious too," Lovino muttered then glared over at Ludwig.
"Be nice," Feliciano pouted, crossing his arms. "I'm not dumping Luddy. And I need you to help me learn how to fight without being able to see! What if I need to? And if you say no, I'm just going to ask Yao instead."
"Ugh… Fine! I will dammit! Come on! Back to the damn house first!" Lovino said as he started dragging Feliciano to his own car. "I'll fucking drive you."
Feliciano nearly fell on his face thanks to the sudden movement, only managing to stay up because he latched onto his twin tightly.
Lovino grumbled as he righted him then helped Feliciano into the car and buckled him up.
"Oh, veh, grazie fratello~!" the Italian chirped as he felt the safety belt go around him and click into place. He reached out and fumbled a bit until he found the button to roll the window down. He leaned out the window and called out to Ludwig. "Luddy~! Can you drive my car home?"
Ludwig nodded as Lovino flipped him off. "Ja. I can do that."
"Thank you, mio amore~!" Feliciano cooed.
Lovino scoffed as he turned on the car then drove off before Ludwig could answer him.
When the twins arrived home, Feliciano managed to unclip his seat belt and trip getting out of the car. Deciding it was safest to just crawl to the door, that's what he did, staying on his hands and knees as he felt his way from the driveway to the path leading to the front door.
Lovino frowned as he walked over, then picked Feliciano up to his feet and started leading him to the house.
"Veh, veh~! So what are we going to do now, fratello? Are you going to help me figure out how to fight? How? What do we do first? Should we ask Yao anyway? He might now how to help!" Feliciano bubbled excitedly.
"…. First, you shut the hell up so I can think."
Feliciano giggled. "Va bene~!"
"Giggling's NOT shutting the hell up, dumbass…."
The werewolf laughed again, fumbling around for the door handle. Finding it, he let himself into the house and began to feel his way along the wall as he moved towards where he guessed the kitchen was located.
Lovino scowled and followed after him, making sure to keep a close watch.
After nearly colliding with the walls and random pieces of furniture, the twins managed to make it into the kitchen with no new injuries. "Pasta time~!" Feliciano squealed, bouncing to the cabinets and taking out a pot.
Lovino quickly snatched the pot away. "The HELL do you think you're doing?!"
"I'm going to make pasta of course," Feliciano chirped, stealing the pot back and skipping to the sink, filling the metal bowl with water.
Lovino snatched it away again. "No you are fucking NOT!"
"But I'm hungry!" Feliciano whined. "I can do it!"
"Fuck no! I'M doing it!"
"At least let me help! I can still cook!" Feliciano begged, tears welling in his sightless eyes. "I-I can't have cooking taken from me, fratello! Please let me help! Please! I promise I'll be super duper careful!"
"Fine! You can crush the damn tomatoes for the sauce!"
"Yay~!" Skipping to the bowl of tomatoes, Feliciano took out four and a new bowl, along with the masher. After taking off the green stem part and the little brown bit at the bottom of all four, he began to mash them up.
Lovino rolled his eyes then got to work on cooking the pasta.
Feliciano hummed cheerfully as he mashed away, stopping every now and then to check the texture and see if it was smushed enough.
"Hand over the tomatoes when you're done then you setting your ass down the rest of the time. Got it?"
"W-What? No! I can still help!" Feliciano cried, clutching the bowl he had been about to give to his twin close to his chest.
"Then you can fucking help by sitting down and being quiet!"
"No! That's not helping! I want to help! I can still cook! Let me cook, fratello! I can still do it, I promise!" The younger werewolf clung to the bowl in his arms as though it was the only thing capable of keeping him in his spot.
Before Lovino could answer, the front door opened as Ludwig and Antonio finally arrived. The two vampires made their way from the foyer into the kitchen.
"Lovi, I think letting your drive is ruining me. I kept wanting Ludwig to speed up because it felt like he was going to slow even though he was going to speed limit!" Antonio commented as the two entered the room.
"Shut up, bastard!" Lovino snapped before Ludwig could speak. "I'm a great fucking driver! You're just a fucking snail!"
"You're a fine driver, Lovi," Antonio soothed. "I was just saying that I like your driving better than Ludwig's."
Lovino blinked and stared at him. "Seriously, bastard…?"
Smiling, the Spaniard nodded. "Si."
"… Weird ass bastard..."
"Luddy!" Feliciano suddenly whined. "Fratellone isn't letting me help him cook! I can cook! I don't care that I can't see! I can still help!" His eyes were filled with tears that threatened to spill over and at any moment. "I wanna cook!"
"Don't go whining to that bastard!" Lovino snapped as he stole the bowl away from Feliciano and started to work on the rest of the sauce.
Feeling the bowl ripped from his arms, Feliciano began to cry loudly. He plopped down onto the floor right there in the middle of the kitchen and sobbed.
Ludwig bit his lip then gently scooped Feliciano up and walked into the living room.
"I'm not useless! I can still do things!" the little werewolf cried, latching onto the front of Ludwig's shirt and coating the material with his tears. "I can still cook! I can at least do that! Don't take cooking from me, Luddy! Don't let him take it!"
"Lovino's just being worried about you…" Ludwig gently said as he held Feliciano close.
"I'm not a bambino! I can do things on my own!" he blubbered. "W-Why won't he even let me try!?"
"He will. Just… give it a bit of time first."
Feliciano released his hold on Ludwig and hugged himself tightly instead. "H-He just took it from me... And I-I couldn't do anything to stop him... I just wanna cook... It's t-the only thing that will make me f-feel better..."
Ludwig thought about it then said. "Then… after your bruder goes out for a while or goes to sleep, I'll… help you cook something…"
The Italian's head snapped up, his eyes searching for Ludwig's face in the darkness. "... S-Seriously? For real? Y-You aren't lying?"
Ludwig nodded and replied, "Yes. I promise we will. Just.. it might take some time before we can though. Are you alright with that?"
"No..." Feliciano said honestly, his voice heavy with sadness. "But I don't really have a choice..."
"I'm sorry…."
Feliciano let out a soft, short, puff of air, not quite a sigh, and crawled away from his boyfriend onto the floor, going to the center of the carpet and curling up.
Back in the kitchen, Lovino glanced to the living room and sighed.
"Querido?" Antonio asked gently. "Want to tell me what's troubling you?"
"….. Am I a bad brother…?"
"No, of course not. Why do you think that?" the vampire asked, leaning back against the counter as he watched his Italian lover.
"... You saw how he just acted," Lovino mumbled quietly.
"Oh, Lovi..." Antonio cooed gently, moving to the werewolf's side and wrapping his arms around him, hugging him close. "You aren't a bad brother. You're just looking out for him."
Lovino scoffed back in reply. "Si. And he'll send me a fucking gift basket as thanks."
"Querido, maybe he does understand why you did what you did. He probably just doesn't want to accept it because he's scared," the Spaniard soothed, pressing a kiss to Lovino's forehead.
"And he wants his fucking potato bastard… not his brother…"
"I think he wants you both."
"Hmph. The HELL he does…"
"You could always ask him?" Antonio suggested.
"Why? So he can bitch at me about how fucking evil I am?"
Not having anything useful to say, Antonio simply held the others close, wishing he could help the twins fix all their problems.
Lovino held on to Antonio and buried his face into the vampire's shirt.
In the living room, Feliciano decided he was done moping for now, not liking the feelings of sadness and despair that had been forced on him that day. "Luddy," he said, sitting up and feeling around for the German teen. "Luddy, take me on a walk."
Ludwig nodded as he reached out and helped Feliciano to his feet. "Ja. We can do that."
"I wanna go on the swings. Will you push me?" he asked as he stood.
"Ja. I will. Just as long as you promise to be careful and listen to me."
"Okay. I promise. I'm going to tell Lovi we're going." Moving slowly and carefully, Feliciano navigated his way from the vampire to the kitchen doorway. "Fratello?" he asked, catching his twin's scent in the room. "We're going to the park. I promise we'll be careful, but I need to go do something and Luddy is going too so I'll be fine. I'll be home later, si?"
"…. Fine... Whatever, dammit….." Lovino muttered as he pulled away from Antonio and walked past Feliciano and headed up the stairs to his room.
Feeling the breeze pass him, Feliciano turned quickly towards where he though Lovino was, ending up turned more towards the wall that the stairs. "Unless you want to go too. You could come with me. I'm sure Luddy wouldn't mind staying here instead," the younger wolf offered.
"Why fucking bother?" Lovino retorted, his voice having a obvious hurt tone to it. "Wouldn't that ruin your damn plans of having fun with the macho potato without having to worry about your asshole of a brother getting in the way?"
"Veh! Fratello! Don't say stuff like that! You aren't an asshole! It wouldn't ruin anything if you came with me! I like playing with fratello! He's fun to play with!" Feliciano exclaimed.
"Hmph. Yeah, you say that shit to my face…."
"It's the truth! Fratello is fun to play with!" Feliciano moved forward to find his brother, only to crash into the wall he had been staring at. He fell back onto his butt, a horribly confused look on his face as he couldn't tell what he had just hit.
"You bumped into the damn wall," Lovino explained, then headed up the stairs into his room.
"Fratello, wait!" the younger twin cried, crawling to the stairs before standing up and scrambling up the steps.
Lovino ignored him as he walked into his room then flopped down on his bed, facing the wall.
There was a series of thumping noises as Feliciano attempted to navigate the hall and continuously ran into walls along the way. Finally, there was a crash as he tripped on the corner of a small table, knocking it, the vase, and himself onto the ground.
Lovino sighed and grumbled then headed out to check on him.
Feliciano was laying in the center of a pile of shattered ceramic and glass pieces, the table pinning his legs to the floor.
Lovino ran over and helped him up then started checking him over for injuries.
Feeling hands on him, Feliciano sniffed, picking up his twin's scent. "Veh... What did I brake...?" he asked nervously, slight stinging sensations covering his arms from the cuts he had received.
"That ugly as hell vase of nonno's. Bastard'll probably take you out for gelato now for getting rid of the damn thing," Lovino explained as he started leading Feliciano to the bathroom.
"Oh... I didn't mean to brake anything..." the Italian murmured, lowing his head sadly.
"It's fine, dammit. As I already said, nonno's going to be glad that damn thing's gone."
"If you say so..." The two entered the bathroom and Feliciano had his arms put in the sink as Lovino began to wash the cuts with warm water. "Grazie, fratello," he thanked, the warmth making his arms feel better already.
"… prego…" Lovino mumbled as he finished washing the cuts and dried them off, then started bandaging them. "… You… really want to go to the damn park….?"
Feliciano looked up at a spot just above Lovino's ear. "Si! Si, I do! Will you go with me, fratellone?" he asked excitedly.
"Fine... If I have to, dammit," Lovino muttered. "You better appreciate it, you little bastard."
"I do! I do, I do!" Feliciano cheered excitedly.
"Ugh… Guess we go now….?"
"Yay~! We'll be careful about the hunter people though, si?"
"No shit," Lovino retorted with an eye roll.
"Ti voglio bene, fratellone~!" Feliciano chirped.
Lovino rolled his eyes as he took Feliciano's hand and started leading him down the hallway and to the stairs.
"I'll tell Luddy I'm going with you~!" the younger squealed once they reached the bottom. Skipping merrily into the living room were he could pick up Ludwig's scent, Feliciano called to his boyfriend. "Veh~! Luddy~! Fratello and I are going to the park now~!"
Ludwig nodded and said, "Do you have your cell phone with you?"
Feliciano giggled. "Luddy, this is like the fiftieth time I've told you this! Lovi and I don't have cell phones!"
"I thought your grandfather bought you some…." Ludwig sighed then pulled his out and put it in Feliciano's hands. "You should take mine for now."
"Don't fucking need it…" Lovino snapped.
"If he did, then I must have lost it. I don't even remember if he did!" Feliciano said, feeling the buttons with his fingers. "But, who do I call if we need help? If this is your phone, I can't call you..."
"Antonio's number is already inside it. And it's an older model so it should be easier for you to use right now. And it's also one of the ones that slides for you to use."
"Still don't fucking want it…." Lovino muttered.
"How do I call Toni with it?" Feliciano asked.
"Just push the pound sign," Ludwig explained as he moved Feliciano's finger over the button. "Then press the number 2 and talk. Do you need me to show you those too?"
"NO! he doesn't fucking need you bastard!" Lovino snapped.
"I got it now, Luddy~! Grazie~!" the younger Italian chirped, kissing Ludwig's cheek.
"So can we fucking GO now…?" Lovino grumbled.
"Yeah~! Let's go fratello~! Ciao, Luddy~! Ti amo~!" Feliciano cooed before rushing to the door. He slammed into it, fell down, jumped back to his feet, opened the door, and successfully ran outside to the cars.
