Hey guys, so I know a lot of you were wanting Percy and Artemis to stay together, so I decided to let it happen. To be perfectly honest, I actually started wanting it to be pertamis myself, so I guess it's a win win. Unless all of you are winning, in which case there would be a couple thousand wins there, which I am proud to say. Well, as always, I have big plans, those plans may change, they may stay exactly the same, but whatever. As you guys may have realized, Percy is pretty OOC, mostly because if I tried to mimic someones personality, I would pass out from brain exhaustion. I tend to make the main characters in my stories have a piece of my personality, which makes it easier for me to write, and makes it more enjoyable for you guys, I hope. Well, don't forget to review and follow, Adios!

After driving back home, after the rode trip Jason, Nico, and myself took, I decided I would tell my closest friends about my past life. I had told Jason and Nico after being there for a few months, to build trust, if for nothing else. I had briefly told Artemis, as well, but I didn't give her the full story. So, I gathered up my best friends, Artemis, Leo, Gwen (Leo's girlfriend), Piper, Reyna, Calypso, Zoe, Thalia, Hazel, and Frank, and told them about it.

"WHAT!" was Artemis immediate response when I told them about how I met Annabeth in San Fran on the rode trip and convinced her to move to LA. I wasn't quite sure if it was jealousy, or disapproval in her voice, but it wasn't nice.

"Why the Hades would you INVITE HER HERE!" she yelled, total disbelief in her voice. I grimaced her tone, but didn't say anything about it. I didn't like arguing with her, because she got very passionate in arguments, and sometimes resorted to shooting blunt tipped arrows at me if they were within fifty feet of her. Shit, sometimes she pushed me back so that she could get to them. Needless to say, she was violent.

"She apologized for her actions, and, though I don't trust her, I would like to give a second chance. And don't even think about feeling threatened by her, I have absolutely no feelings towards her." I told Artemis calmly. She settled down a good bit, but she still wasn't happy.

"So... When is she moving here?" Leo asked excitedly. Why he was excited, I know not. Everyone gave him a strange look, and Gwen smacked his arm.

"Right after New Years, before school starts back up." I informed them.

"They found a house that quick?" Reyna asked. I nodded, which elicited a whistle from her. "Impressive. Not many people can find a house that quick." she praised.

"My dad found and bought a house the day we moved here. Hell, it's a damn nice house, too!" I told her. She just shrugged.

"Anyways guys, nothing will change, but the fact that we will have another crew member." I assured excitedly. I was damn excited to be seeing my best friend all the time again.

"Well, P, I'm proud of you for facing your fear of her and just talking to her. We had to literally yell at him for like fifteen minutes before he would even consider talking to her!" Jason exclaimed, and I had half a mind to knock that grin off his face. Oh wait, I did.

"Yea, yea, Grace. Hey, how long did it take you to ask Piper out, again? What was it, six months?" I asked him mockingly, causing his eyes to fly open, turn to me, and damn near sock me right in the mug.

"How do you know about that?" He asked hurriedly, which caused me to burst out laughing, because Jason seemed like the strongest, braves, and most confident among us.

"Piper told me. I find it really funny that I was here for two months, and I already asked out the most difficult, most beautiful girl in LA, and she said yes, yet, you took six months to ask out Piper." I told him. I had to give him credit, though. Piper is easily among the hottest girls in LA.

"Yea, Superman, you need to step your game up. Percy and Artemis are already engaged!" Piper said jokingly, although, not everybody got the joke.

A chorus 'What's!' rang around the large room. I blushed furiously, and, looking over at Artemis, I saw she was too.

"Guys! She's joking! We're not even sixteen! We can't get married at fifteen!" I told them hurriedly. There was series of 'Oh's', and then, we all burst out laughing. It was pretty funny, but not something I would've liked to make real when I was fifteen.

"She should be here Tuesday, so everybody be prepared to give her a warm welcome. I don't care how she treated me in the past, that is the past. I want all of you to treat her like you want to be treated. Except you, Leo, just be nice to her." I told them, joking at the end. We laughed, and told jokes for the next hour or two, before my dad asked to speak to me.

We went to his office, and he had a proud look on his face. "Percy, there is a gala for a hospital for war veterans this Wednesday, the third. There are supposed to be a lot of rich people there, and I was invited. I would like for you and Artemis and Annabeth to come. Since Annabeth is coming Tuesday, she should be able to get a nice dress, right?" He asked, and I was kind of surprised. I had never been to any of the galas that he went to, and I didn't know why he wanted me to come. Or why he wanted me to bring my former best friend and current girlfriend.

"I can ask them, but why do you want me to go?" I asked, voicing my thoughts.

"I think it is about to you start making public appearances, seeing as I just opened 'Trident Aquariums', and you are the heir to my company. It is increasing in worth by the day, and it's already worth about ten million. I know how much you love water and sea creatures, and I want to give you the opportunity to have what I have always assumed is your dream job." My father informed, and he was, in no way, misled.

"I would love to go, Father. And yes, owning an aquarium has always been my dream. I'll ask Artemis, and I'll call Annabeth a little while. Artemis might come with me to get a tux, and other stuff that will be appropriate." I confirmed. He nodded, and smiled brightly. You could literally feel the pride radiating off of him.

I went back to my room, and dismissed my friends, with a promise to see them the next day, New Year's Eve. I asked Artemis to stay, and smiled brightly at her.

"Arty, you wanna go to a gala this Wednesday? My dad invited us, along with Annabeth." I asked her hopefully. She gained a conflicted look, before settling on happy.

"Sure, I would love to." She replied calmly, to which I hugged her, before kissing her lightly on the lips, and saying 'goodbye' to her. She left in her car, heading home, I assume.

I decided to go for a ride, and went up to my room to change. I rode around the city for a while, pondering my feelings for Annabeth. I had forgiven her, sure, but I didn't trust her, by any means. She had acted like a love sick child in New York, over Luke, and I had no idea what she was going to be like. Sure, she had acted genuine when I last saw her, but I didn't know why she was acting like that. She hadn't told me what happened with her and Luke, but I'm sure he cheated on her.

Well, I guess I'll see soon enough, huh? I thought to myself. I called Annabeth a little later, at about four PM, our time. For her it was about eight. She was packing, and was almost done. I asked her if she wanted to go to the gala with my friend, Artemis, and I. She said yes, and asked what kind of dress she would need. I told her to just wait until she got here. We spoke a bit more, before we said 'goodbye' and hung up. This is going to be a long week, I thought to myself, as I lay in bed, listening to music.

Hey guys, thanks for reading. I know it's been a really long time, and I had no intention for it to take this long, but, as you guys can probably guess, I write a chapter after I post a chapter, and I was just not feeling this for a while. I really appreciate you guys supporting this, though. Now, as you might be able to guess, there will be a bit of competition between Annie Bell and Arty. This will be a Pertamis story, in the end, though. Also, I really like big, expensive parties, like galas, and I really really like expensive clothing, namely tuxedos and suits and ties. I also really like expensive watches.

As I said before, I really appreciate the support you guys have been showing for this story, and please, if you would be so kind, check out my other story, The Hooded Hunter, and give that a check up. I have been writing for that story a lot lately, and I am probably going to have about thirty or more chapters for it. To be honest with you guys, I never even guessed that either of my stories would get much attention, except with my, admittedly, arrogant imagination. Well guys, please don't forget to review and follow, as support is really helpful. Adios.
