3 Years Later….
"You look so stupid," Sergio said as he fell over onto his back, howling from laughter.
"I'm doing this for her," Clooney said, pointing his head toward the little girl currently studying the dog and drawing him.
Sergio composed himself enough to circle Clooney. "I can't believe she put a tutu on you. She could've at least picked manlier color."
"Says you. At least one of us still has our balls," Clooney said as he tried to stay still and not tackle Sergio.
"A lot of good that does you now it's hard to know what you have under your pretty purple skirt," Sergio said as he swiped at the stiff fabric.
"Hmm, something's not right," three year old Samara Morgan said, effectively stopping the two animals' conversation. She quickly stood up and as fast as her little legs could take her to her parents' bedroom.
Clooney looked in horror as the little girl came running towards him with two pairs of Penelope's highest heels in her hands.
"Here you go, Clooney! Now you will be extra special looking," Samara said giddily as she held up one of Clooney's legs to slide his paw into a bright yellow platform stiletto.
Once Samara was satisfied with the dog's outfit, she went back to drawing. A few moments later, she stopped and scrutinized her work. She frowned and said, "Something is still missing." Once again the little girl headed to her parent's room.
"I wonder what she'll pick out for you next," Sergio said with a saucy swish of his tale. "Maybe one of Penelope's bras?"
"As soon as I get out of this outfit I'm going to murder you," Clooney replied as he teetered in the heels.
"All done!" Samara said excitedly. She decided that Clooney's look wasn't complete without a pair of her father's stylish sunglasses. She called out for her grandmother. "Nana come look and see what I made for the baby!"
Fran Morgan came out of the kitchen wiping her hands on her apron.
"Oh Samara, your new little brother or sister is going to love your picture. Would you like it if we framed it and put it in the nursery?" Fran said as she beamed at her granddaughter.
"Yes, Nana. Can I make a picture of Sergio, too? Please," Samara asked.
"Of course you can, but first let's find a frame for this pretty pic," Fran said as she led Samara into Penelope's office and craft storage room.

"Where in the hell do you think you are going," Clooney asked as he blocked Sergio's only escape route.
"Well, I was hoping you would be a dear friend and let me run and hide before tries to dress me up as a pretty princess," Sergio said as he warily eyed a very small space between Clooney's body and the flight of stairs he could run up and have his pick of rooms to hide in.
"Not a chance on earth, cat," Clooney taunted.
"Oh, Sergio! Where are you," Samara said in a sing song tone.
"Dog help me out here. I'll give you half my treats for a week," Sergio begged.
"Nu uh! No way," Clooney said with a shake of his head.
Sergio let out a slight growl as Samara picked him up with one arm and held Derek's sombrero from a drunken Cinco De Mayo party he threw when Samara was in Chicago visiting Fran.
"C'mon Serg, I'm going to draw a picture of you on the beach," Samara said. She plopped the comically large sombrero on the cat's head. She posed him just the way she wanted and began to draw. She was almost done when the front door opened. She lost interest in her picture and ran to the door.
Sergio quickly wiggled out from underneath the hat and walked right into Clooney. The dog's chocolate eyes danced with mirth as he watched Sergio furiously licking his fur. The friction of the big hat caused his gray fur to stand straight up.
"Now that you're all presentable, are you ready to meet the newest member of the family," Clooney asked.
"I suppose so," Sergio huffed. "Maybe this one won't make me dress like an idiot."
"It wasn't that bad. Now come on." Clooney said as he started walking towards Derek. He sat next to his feet and watched as he removed the blanket off of the infant car seat.
Sergio took a careful leap onto the couch and sat next to Penelope after she gingerly sat down.
Both animals watched as Derek lifted the baby out of the seat and placed the baby into Penelope's arms.
"Clooney, Sergio I want you to meet Keagen, " Penelope said softly.
"He's awfully little," Sergio meowed to Clooney.
"Yeah he is, but he's cute," Clooney said back.
"Welcome home Keagen," Sergio quietly purred.
