I just realized I somehow forgot to put a little thing on the last one. Oops.
Welp, and even more insane week than last for me. Ugh...
Happy Monday everyone.
When Lovino finally got him back to the room, Feliciano began to shake and whine in pain, curling in on himself as he began to change back into a human, the change reopening all the cuts on his side.
Lovino growled at the cuts, then slipped out for a few minutes. He came back carrying first aid supplies, which, after getting Feliciano sit up a little, started binding the wounds, taking care not to hit Feliciano with his own claws.
Feliciano whimpered in pain. "I-I'm sorry," he whispered. "I-I shouldn't have gotten s-so mad... This is a-all my fault..." He lowered his head in shame, tears gathering in his eyes. "I s-should have tried harder t-to stay calm... You got in t-trouble because of me..."
"It's not your damn fault," Lovino muttered, a slight growl to his voice. "I would have fucking done it either way. I hate that asshole." He covered up Feliciano's naked lower half with a blanket, then went back to caring for the wounds. "Now hold still dammit."
Sniffling, the younger of the two went silent and still. Shortly after, he fell asleep.
Lovino watched him for a moment, then sighed softly. "… Sorry, Feli…"
The twins were left alone after that. No one came to get Lovino for him to go to the kitchen, and no one appeared to wake Feliciano for cleaning. At was shortly after lunch, which had been brought to the brothers and left outside on trays, that there was a knock on the door.
Lovino frowned at the sound and slowly got up and made his way to the door before carefully opening it. "What?"
It was a crew man. "The captain told me to come get you two. We've landed and he wants the both of you to go into the town with him."
"Why?" Lovino asked nervously.
"I'm not sure. Didn't think to ask. Come on, he won't be waitin' ferever," the pirate said.
Feliciano, who had woken up from the knocking, yawned and sat up, rubbing his eyes. "M'kay," he mumbled, getting up.
Lovino grumbled to himself as he walked back over to Feliciano and helped him to his feet. "Well... let's go…."
After leading them back up to the deck, the man left and Antonio took his place. "Are you two ready to go into town?" he asked. "I decided that, while we're here, we might as well get you both something to wear rather than having you borrow other men's clothes. After that, Gilbert, Francis, Ludwig, and I will need to go find something to eat. You will be free to return to the ship, stay in the town, or if you really want to, you can go with us."
Lovino crossed his arms and glanced at Feliciano. "… What do you think?"
The younger Italian shrugged. "I don't know, let's decide later."
"… Fine. Guess we can find out more about the damn time we got stuck in too…."
Feliciano nodded.
Antonio, who had turned away to relay an order to a crewman, turned back just in time to see Feliciano nod. "Alright, then! Off we go!" he chirped, grabbing their wrists and pulling them across the deck, to the ramp, and down into the little port town.
Ludwig, Gilbert, and Francis were all waiting for them at the bottom. When they reached the vampires, Feliciano hid behind Lovino, staring at the ground and looking anywhere but Ludwig, having spotted the bandages on his arm from his attack.
Lovino glared at them all as he yanked himself and Feliciano free from Antonio and pulled his brother close. "Keep fucking staring. Maybe we'll do a trick."
Ludwig frowned back in reply. "You really should watch your mouth. It'll get you in trouble."
"Fuck. You," Lovino coldly spat back at him.
"Language," Antonio said, tapping the top of Lovino's head. "Now, Francis, lead the way to this 'oh so man-a-feek' clothing place you were rattling on about." The Spaniard smirked slightly in amusement upon seeing his friend's face twist in disgust as he purposefully butchered the word.
"O-Oui…. Of course, Toni…" Francis replied with a wince and started walking off, leading the group behind him.
"Did they have sex toys and clothes back then?" Lovino worriedly whispered to his brother. "I don't trust the French bastard's tastes. At all."
Feliciano blinked at his brother. "What's a 'sex toy'?" he whispered back.
"… Nothing. Absolutely nothing."
"Huh? But... You just said-"
"Leave it, Feliciano!" Lovino quickly cut.
The younger Italian pouted but let it drop as they continued on.
"Stop fucking pouting, dammit."
"You two shut it," Antonio ordered.
Lovino glared over at him. "Oh? Are we bothering you with that? Good."
"Oh, so you want me to cut out your tongue?" the captain asked, turning to the Italian, a dark smirk on his lips. "I think I can arrange that."
Lovino immediately paled and stumbled back. "N-No-!"
"Then shut your mouth."
Feliciano trembled and hid himself behind the elder brother.
Lovino swallowed and nodded as he looked away.
"We're here~~," Francis cooed, seemingly oblivious to what was going on around him.
"Take them into the store and get them fitted," Antonio said, patting Francis on the back. "I'm going to the market, I need to look for something. Gilbert, Ludwig, don't do anything to get caught and don't piss anyone off to badly."
Ludwig nodded and shot Gilbert a look as the Frenchman blew Antonio a kiss and led the two Italians away into the store.
In the shop, the walls were lined with different fabrics, and on a few stands were some completed outfits. The twins looked around as Francis approached the shop keeper.
"Bonjour~. Do you still remember me~?" Francis cooed as he walked up to the keeper.
The man behind the counter was ancient looking. He squinted at Francis and leaned towards him. "F... Francis...?" the elder mumbled. "Francis Bonnefoy...? Is that you? My, it's been ages, old boy!" A smile crossed the man's face and he slowly wobbled from behind the counter to hug the vampire. "You haven't aged a day since you left twenty years ago! How have you been, young master?"
"Why never better~. And, I must say that I'm very pleased to see that you have done very well for yourself~. I could not pass down the street without hearing compliments about your lovely storefront~. We're all very proud of you~." Then he patted the Italians on the back and pushed them forward. "But I really must ask you for a favor. You see, my captain wishes for them to have their own sets of clothes instead of borrowing them. I'm certain that this is a simple task for one such as yourself~?"
"Oh anything to help you, Master Francis," the old man agree. "You saved my life and gave me a new home." He smiled warmly. "I would be honored to help you."
Francis smiled and nodded as he pushed the two Italians forward. "Well then enjoy these two~."
The man nodded, then shooed the two teens into the back room so he could take measurements and began working on designs for clothing for them. "Anything in particular you want?" he asked them.
"Uh…." Lovino blankly said as he glanced at Feliciano. He didn't know anything about fashions in this time period.
"S-Something light," Feliciano ventured. "S-Since we're on the ship, w-we need clothes that are e-easy to pack up."
The man nodded. "Good good, I can do that. Now, I will start on your clothes. Come back in three days and I'll have outfits for the both of you."
Lovino nodded and quickly ushered Feliciano out into the main part of the shop, cursing loudly when he discovered the two of them were alone in the room. "The asshole fucking ditched us!"
"M-Maybe he's waiting outside?" Feliciano asked hopefully.
Lovino shot him a deadpanned look. "You really believe that shit? You know that bastard!"
"I-I can hope..."
"I guess we can just go find the other bastards…"
"Si."
"Fine," Lovino grumbled, then promptly grabbed Feliciano's arm, and began dragging him out into the street.
Antonio and Ludwig were not doing well. Not at all. As soon as the group had appeared in a confused clump in Yao's living room, the two had been whisked away into the guest room, the both of them being laid down on the large bed, the vampires panting heavily and sweating profusely. Both were horribly pale and gaunt, neither seeming to recognize that they had been moved, their eyes glassy and focused on something no one but they could see.
Arthur, who had been watching over the two, yawned and started to sway.
Alfred entered the room just in time to catch the Brit before he fell. "Time for a nap, Artie," he said gently.
"I-I'm perfectly capable of walking there myself…!" Arthur tried to sputter, but only ended up yawning, allowing Alfred to carry him.
"Oh yeah, of course you can," Alfred said agreeably, looking for a place to lay the Brit down.
"D-Don't mock me git!"
"I would never dream of it, babe."
"You wanker…" Arthur managed to get out before falling asleep.
The American smiled lovingly at Arthur, then went into the second guest room. He laid the magician on the bed, then sat down on the edge of the mattress. He watched the Brit sleeping for a moment, then whispered, barely loud enough to be heard, "I love you, Arthur."
