Happy Monday everyone!

Hearing their grandfather Lovino froze mid-bite then slowly looked up at the older man, scared to see what the elder Italian would do, causing the werewolf to stay silent hoping that would help blow things over.

The elder Italian glared and pointed to the ground in front of him. "The both of you get over here NOW." The twins whimpered and did as they were told. As soon as they were close enough, Romulus picked them up, then put them into the backseat of his car.

Shaking, their fight forgotten, the brothers grabbed onto each other fearfully, frightened by the rage that radiated from the older man.

Romulus took a second to glare at the two vampires, then got in his car, and drove away with his grandsons.

Once the squeal of the tires had died out, Antonio looked over at Ludwig. "I think maybe we should have taken them home before doing anything else," he commented. "It didn't even occur to me that Romulus would be freaking out that it's been so long since they've come home..."

"J-Ja…" Ludwig stuttered then sighed as he rubbed his forehead. "We just didn't think…"

"So... What do we do now?"

"I… suppose we give it a bit for it to cool down then we go over there to check on them and explain everything to Romulus…"

Antonio nodded. "Let's hope nothing to extreme happens, yeah?"

In the car, the tension was thick and the air seemed to be frosty. The trembling twins shrank closer to each other every time Romulus' glaring eyes found their way onto them in the rear-view mirror. Nothing was said until they reached the house. Romulus stopped the car, then turned to look back at them.

"Go inside. Sit on the couch. We're going to have a little talk."

The brothers burst out of the car and ran as fast as they could into the house, leaving their grandfather to follow.

As soon as he was inside Lovino darted over for the couch and curled up in the farthest part he could, pressed up right against the couch arm as he trembled.

Feliciano whimpered and curled himself as close to Lovino as he could, putting a pillow on his exposed side as though to shield himself from whatever was about to happen.

Lovino glanced at the door then at his brother, still too scared to be able to say anything.

Romulus entered the house then, the click of the door shutting making the younger twin whimper again. The elder Italian walked into the living room then, stopping in the doorway and staring silently at his grandsons huddled forms.

"S-Sorry….?" The older twin fearfully squeaked.

The Italian suddenly began to power walk towards the pair, causing them to squeal in alarm and cling to each other, thinking something bad was going to happen. Instead, when Romulus reached them, the two were pulled into his arms and hugged tightly as their grandfather began to cry softly. "Where have you been?" he sobbed. "You disappeared weeks ago and I haven't heard a thing from you! And then there you were, just casually out and about with them!"

"I-I don't know…!" Lovino stuttered nervously. "A-Apparently we got stuck in the fucking past… a-and it started to change us.. a-and then the bastards pulled us back here!"

"Don't lie to me, Lovino, please don't lie to me. I promise I won't be angry if you tell me where you've really been. Did I do something to make you both unhappy? I'll change it, whatever it was! In a heartbeat! I'd do anything to make you two happy..." Romulus moved back a little so he could look into his grandsons' eyes, his own sparkling with tears. "Please..."

Feliciano sniffled, then spoke up. "I-I don't really know where we've been, nonno. I-I'm sorry we didn't come to see you first as soon as we got back. We should have, but we didn't and I'm s-sorry for that. B-But fratello is telling the truth. W-We were stuck in the past somewhere."

"I-If… you don't believe us…" Lovino said, nervously, "we… we can prove it… T-The past changed us too… Something to do with the bond…"

"What bond? What are you talking about?" Romulus asked worriedly.

"Uh…." Lovino bit his lip as he glanced at Feliciano.

Feliciano looked back, just as unsure as his twin.

"You want to say it, dumbass?"

"Say what?"

"About the damn you know whats!"

"The what whats?"

"Ugh… dumbass," Lovino groaned, then bit his lip again. "Uh… nonno? I'm kind of tired, so…" He started to stand. "I'm going to bed now… Night, bastard."

"Lovino, you sit down right now and tell me what you mean," Romulus demanded.

"W-Why not Feliciano….?"

"You're both going to sit here until I know the full story."

"…. Right now?"

"Yes. Right now." The Elder man crossed his arms. "Start talking."

"Well... remember that magic shit brow bastard is into?"

"Your friend, Arthur?" Feliciano nodded in confirmation. "Yes, I suppose I remember his affinity for spells and such," the Italian man said after a moment of thought.

"He… he pretty much made us immortal… b-by bonding me to the tomato bastard and Feliciano to the macho potato…."

"… Immortal…."

Lovino swallowed and nodded.

"So the both are you are going to live forever?"

This time, Feliciano nodded.

Silence filled the room.

"Are…. Are you pissed at us?" Lovino quietly asked.

Romulus contemplated his grandsons for a moment before speaking. "… No. I'm not angry with you," he said. He stood up and moved closer, then hugged the twins close.

Lovino blinked in surprise. "Y-You… You're NOT?!"

"No. Why would I be?"

"B-Because…."

"Because?"

"N-Nothing…."

"Lovi, what's wrong?" Romulus asked worriedly.

"I…. the bond screwed us up in the past…."

"What happened? Are you alright now? Do you need anything?"

Lovino shook his head no and looked down. "We… just need time…"

Romulus nodded, then kissed both of their foreheads. "I love you, boys. Get some sleep now, okay? You can go and see Antonio and Ludwig in the morning."

"… Si… Grazie, nonno."

"Go to bed now. I'll make you breakfast in the morning. Just stay in the house tonight," he requested.

Feliciano nodded. "We will, nonno."

"Good boys." He stood up and then headed out of the room, leaving the brothers alone.

"…. Think the bastard's alright with all of this shit?"

Feliciano pulled his knees to his chest and wrapped his arms around them. "I don't know," he said honestly.

"… We should sleep this shit off now."

Feliciano nodded silently, his gaze dropping to the floor. When Lovino went to stand up, he hesitantly put a hand and grabbed his sleeve lightly. "H-Hey, fratello? I'm sorry…"

Lovino blinked, then looked away as he rubbed Feliciano's arm. "It's fine, dammit. I'm not pissed. I know it's not your damn fault."

The younger brother gave a tiny nod and stood up. "Can I sleep in your room tonight?" he murmured.

"Si," Lovino agreed, then gently grabbed Feliciano's hand and started leading him to the stairs.

Feliciano whispered a grateful thank you. When they were upstairs, the pair entered Lovino's room and curled up together on the bed, Feliciano pressed as close to Lovino ask he could get.

"….. Night, Feli."

"Goodnight, fratellone."

The next morning, the twins woke up together and went downstairs, Feliciano holding onto the hem of Lovino's sleeve as he yawned and rubbed his eyes.

Romulus was in the kitchen making them breakfast. Upon seeing them enter, he smiled brightly, "Good morning, boys. I hope you slept well. I made you some food."

'Some' food turned out to be a meal large enough to feed a small army. Eggs, bacon, pancakes, waffles, sausage, muffins, and even cereal had been set out for the werewolves, along with their choice of milk, orange, apple, or grape juice.

"Some food my ass…" Lovino muttered as he sat down in one of the chairs.

Feliciano giggled tiredly and sat down as well. They each filled a plate and began to chow down, not realizing how hungry they were until the first bite touched their lips.

When he finished, the older twin pushed his plate away, smiling. "Damn…. I forgot how good this shit tastes."

Feliciano just nodded, already starting on a third helping.

Lovino rolled his eyes at the sight. "Don't choke, dumbass."

Feliciano mumbled a response, but nodded and continued to wolf down food.

"Did you even listen to me?!"

The younger swallowed, then looked up into his twin's eyes. "I always do."

Lovino blinked then looked away, not having expected the answer.

Feliciano took a drink of his orange juice, then went back to eating.

"Where are those bastards anyway?" Lovino asked as he glanced out the window.

"Maybe they didn't think they were allowed over after what happened yesterday," Feliciano suggested.

"I guess…." Lovino muttered. All was quiet for a moment, then his eyes widened and he jumped up with a loud cursed. "SHIT!"

Feliciano jumped, dropping his fork with a loud clank onto the table. "What? What's wrong?" he asked.

"It's tomorrow," Lovino growled as he harshly rubbed his forehead.

"Tomorrow? What's tomor-" Understanding suddenly crossed his face. "Oh. Oh no… We haven't taken the potion…"

"And we're still fucked up!" Lovino added as he slammed his fist onto the table. "FUCK!"

Feliciano's eyes filled with frightened tears and he began to shake, whimpering slightly.

"S-Shit…." Lovino stuttered as he reached out to his brother, hugging him. "D-Don't cry, dammit…"

Feliciano looked at his twin, tears dripping down his cheeks. "I-I don't wanna. I don't wanna do this again," he whispered.

"Don't worry… W-We'll…. We'll take care of it… You'll see."

Feliciano sniffled and nodded, wanting to believe the other.

"But…" Lovino swallowed. "I think we should talk to those bastards now… Just in case…."

"O-Okay," The younger agreed meekly.

Lovino nodded and stood up, then headed to the door after motioning for Feliciano to follow him.

Feliciano scampered after his brother, the pair waving goodbye to Romulus before running out the door.
