I'm tired. I hate my dickhead soccer coach. I've never been happier to have the soccer season end. Fuck that fucker. And this weekend will be interesting; my mom's family is all coming over because she deiced we are going to host a family gathering. This will be interesting.
Happy Monday.
The brothers rushed into town and to the vampires' apartment building. Seeing as the elevator was broken, they took the stairs, jumping up three steps at a time until they reached the correct floor.
They ran to the vampires' door and bashed on it, crying for them to open the door. The door was thrown open almost instantly and the two toppled in, falling on top of each other. Feliciano detangled himself first and lept up, throwing himself into Ludwig's arms, sobbing in fright.
Antonio helped Lovino to his feet and rubbed his boyfriend's back worriedly. "What's wrong?" he asked, Gilbert and Francis watching from the doorway in concern.
"F-Full moon-!" Lovino managed to gasp out in between trying to catch his breath as Ludwig held Feliciano close and rubbed his back to calm him down. "T-Tomorrow-!"
The Spaniard paled. "Oh. I see." He held the Italian close. "Everything is going to be okay, amor. We'll do what we did last time; you're going to be alright, you both are, I promise," he assured him.
Feliciano whimpered and hid his face against Ludwig's chest, shaking. "I-I don't wanna do that again..." he whispered.
"Don't worry," Ludwig reassured. "We'll take care of it."
Lovino nodded as he buried his face. "W-What about the bond shit? A-And us being fucked up? W-What will that do?"
"You've changed with us being bonded before, Lovi. We'll be fine, and we'll be here to keep watch over you so you don't have anything to worry about. I promise everything is going to be alright," Antonio cooed gently, rubbing Lovino's back lightly.
"I-I hope so," The Italian stuttered nervously, trying to keep his voice even for his brother's sake. "B-But what the hell do we do….?"
"We'll do what we did last time."
"W-What if something fucking happens? W-What then?"
"Nothing will happen, Lovi. We'll make sure of it. You can trust us," Antonio said, gently.
"…. G-grazie…."
On the other side of the room, Feliciano sniffled and looked up at Ludwig with watering eyes. "I don't want to do this, Luddy. I-It's scary..."
"I know, Feliciano," the German said, tenderly. "I won't let anything happen to you or to someone else. We'll all stay safe."
"D-Do you promise, Luddy?"
"Ja," Ludwig nodded. "I promise."
Feliciano nodded back, wiping his face. "G-Grazie." He backed up a bit and took a few deep breaths to regain his compositor.
"Do you need to sit down for a while?"
He shook his head. "No. I know what will help," he said. Feliciano took Ludwig's hand and pulled him from the apartment, leaving the others there.
Feliciano led Ludwig down the street towards the town. "Ludwig, you love and trust me, don't you?" he asked, glancing back at him. "You know I wouldn't ever do anything to hurt you?"
Ludwig blinked a few times in surprise at the tone then nodded. "Ja. I do. And of course I trust you, there's no reason why I wouldn't."
"Good." Feliciano turned the corner and they were met with a dead end. Laughter sounded at the end of the ally and the two turned around to find the way back was blocked by a large group of thugs. Feliciano grabbed onto Ludwig's hand.
"Don't do anything," he whispered. "Let me take care of it."
The leader of the group pointed at the pair, then looked back at his men. "Looks like we have a couple of gays, huh guys? We don't like your kind around here," he said, his laugh turning into a snarl.
Ludwig tensed up as he watched the group then glanced at Feliciano out of the corner of his eye and hissed, "Feliciano, what is this?"
"Shh, Luddy. Don't say anything. I swear I didn't plan this. I had something in mind, but this wasn't it." He slowly moved forward, standing in front of Ludwig protectively.
The thugs laughed. "You think you can protect yourselves from us? You're one person."
Feliciano hissed, taking a stance. "Try me."
Angry and feeling like they were being mocked, five of the thugs ran towards them. Feliciano took care of them in a second, moving to fast for the others to see. One second he was being bared down on, next, the five lay unconscious and bloody at his feet.
"Next," the Italian spat.
"Fuck this shit!" One of the thugs growled. "Just shoot this fucker and be done with it already!"
Three of the attackers pulled out guns and fired. Feliciano rushed forward, dodging the bullets, he took out two of them before the third got lucky and a shot tore into his arm. The werewolf screamed in pain and his eyes turned pure gold. In the time it took the attackers to blink, he shifted into his wolf form, exploding from his skin and tearing into the men with his teeth and claws.
Unable to take it anymore, Ludwig jumped forward, grabbed onto Feliciano, and yanked the wolf back, trying to avoid touching the injured limb.
Feliciano snarled and howled, the thugs screaming in terror. A few lay dead, and soon, the rest scattered.
Once Ludwig could smell that the thugs were gone, he gently set Feliciano down and started to check the wound. "Hold still."
The werewolf shook and whimpered, his sides heaving with labored breaths. Blood matted his right foreleg. Unfortunately, the bullet had not gone completely through, meaning Ludwig was going to need to pull it out.
The German quietly cursed, then bound the wound the best he could and gently picked the wolf up. "We need to get you somewhere where we can take care of this. Just hold on."
Feliciano whimpered again, still shaking, his fur ruffled. He relaxed in Ludwig's arms, trusting the vampire to make the pain go away. He licked at the wound, his ears flattening against his head.
Ludwig shook his head and moved Feliciano's head away. "Nein. Don't lick it. It might get it infected."
The wolf whined but didn't try to lick the wound again.
"I'm sorry. I'm going as quickly as I can."
Feliciano looked up at him with baleful eyes, his leg feeling like it was on fire.
Ludwig gently petted the wolf as he went to the first place he thought of that would help; Yao's.
When Ludwig entered the shop carrying the giant injured wolf, people who had been browsing the store screamed and ran out, knocking over a few display stands in their rush. Yao, who was standing behind the counter, sighed. "Take him upstairs. You know where the first aid kit is by now."
"Danke," the vampire said as he walked inside, then bit his lip. "Er…. I'm sorry about your shop… I thought if I come in through the back they wouldn't see him…"
"It's fine, Ludwig. Just go up. I see Feli is hurt," the Chinese man said.
Ludwig nodded as he headed to the bathroom, then started taking care of the bullet wound.
The wolf whined and shook, trying to push Ludwig away from his injury with his body.
"Nein," Ludwig scolded lightly. "Hold still."
He whined again and shifted more, further blocking Ludwig's site of his wound.
"Feliciano….." Ludwig sighed.
There was a soft knock at the door as Kiku peeked his head into the room. "Ludwig-san? What happened to Feliciano-kun?"
"Er…. It's a little hard to explain… but, can you come help hold him? He's not letting me near his wound."
"Hai. I can do that."
Feliciano cowered away from his friends, his ears down, whimpering and whining at them, his body shaking.
"Please forgive me, Feliciano-kun…." Kiku softly said, then held onto the wolf as Ludwig took care of the wound. Between the two of them they managed to get the bullet out, clean, stitch, and wrap the injury in a reasonable amount of time, then moved out into the living room, having to work together to move Feliciano.
When the bullet was dug out, Feliciano made a horrible noise that sounded like a mixture between a scream and a snarl. He jerked against the teen's hold, his back legs kicking at Ludwig and Kiku.
"Would you like me to bring Yao in here?" Kiku asked as he packed up supplies, his stomach smarting slightly from where Feliciano's kick hard landed solidly. "He might have something to help with the pain."
"Ja," Ludwig sighed as he petted Feliciano's fur, a few spots on his own body hurting as well. "I think that would be for the best."
Feliciano growled at the vampire, dipping his body down away from the touch. He limped to the far corner and curled up, his tail hiding his injury.
Ludwig blinked, then pulled his hand back as he stood up. "I'll… go call your brother…" Then he headed out of the room.
Antonio watched Ludwig and Feliciano leave, then looked at Lovino. "Is there anything I can do right now to help you feel better, Lovi?" he asked, wanting to make sure his boyfriend was comfortable for as long as possible.
"I'm fine, bastard," Lovino muttered. "I'm not fucking sick yet. Don't worry about it."
"Well... do you want to do something then?" the Spaniard asked. "Anything you want to do?"
Lovino thought about it then shrugged. "You pick, bastard."
"I... I don't know. I didn't think of anything, that's why I asked you..."
The Italian paused, then smirked. "Could sword fight. Hell, you trained me yourself, bastard. That should make it fun."
"Um, something that doesn't involve violence," Antonio said quickly.
"Try to see how many bastards we can pickpocket in a certain amount of time?"
"Nothing against the law either."
Lovino raised an eyebrow. "I thought you wanted to do something fun."
"You can do fun things without breaking the law. It's two thousand and fourteen, Lovi. Don't forget."
Lovino's face flushed as he looked down and nodded. "R-Right… s-sorry, bastard…."
Antonio kissed his forehead. "It's alright, Lovi."
"… anything to watch on TV….?"
"Dunno, you wanna check?" Antonio pulled Lovino to the couch and sat down, holding out the remote to him, a bright smile on his lips.
Lovino shrugged, but took the remote and started flipping through the channels.
The Spanish vampire happily snuggled his boyfriend as the other channel surfed. As the two were busy and no longer paying any attention to their surroundings, Francis and Gilbert shrugged at each other, then left to find something to do in town, leaving the love birds by themselves.
Lovino continued changing the channels until he stopped on a movie. "…. What the hell is this?"
Antonio tilted his head, staring at the screen in puzzlement. "I have no idea..." he said. "Look at the menu and see what the description says."
The Italian nodded and hit the button then raised an eyebrow. "'Tangled'…? What the fuck?"
"Is it suppose to be like Rapunzel or something?"
"How the hell should I know that?"
The teen shrugged, then turned to face his boyfriend. "Lovi, can I kiss you?" he asked.
"! W-What…?" Lovino squeaked as his face instantly reddened.
"Can I kiss you?" he repeated.
The werewolf's face darkened more as he squeaked something and nodded.
Smiling brightly, Antonio leaned forward and gently connected their lips.
Lovino blinked, then smiled a little and he kissed back.
They stayed like this for a moment, lingering. When the kiss was finally broken, Antonio's smiled had doubled in size and brightness. He put his arm around Lovino's shoulders and held the Italian close. "Te amo, mi amor~," he cooed lovingly.
"I…. I missed this…." Lovino mumbled as he laid his head on Antonio's shoulder. "It's nice…."
The Spaniard nodded in agreement. "Yeah, I missed it too."
"… ti amo…."
Antonio turned his head and kissed him again gently.
"It'll... be alright…? Tomorrow night? Nothing's going to happen…?"
"Nothing is going to happen. I'll be with you the entire time. I swear. Everything is going to be perfectly fine."
"…. Still fucking worried…."
"That's perfectly fine. You can be worried. But I'm going to keep you safe."
"…. Grazie….."
"De nada."
Then, Lovino's cell phone started ringing.
Frowning, Lovino looked around for it. "Where the hell is that damn thing….?"
Antonio pulled it from the Italian's back pocket and handed it to him. "Here, Lovi."
Lovino nodded as he opened it up and spoke into it. "Pronto? Ugh! Fuck you, potato bastard! Why the fuck are you calling me for?!" He stopped short and fell silent as the conversation continued. "… I see. Fine. We'll be there, bastard. Just keep him there." He slammed the phone shut and headed to the door. "Come on, dammit. We have to hurry to Yao's shop."
"H-Huh? What's wrong? What happened? Why did Ludwig call you?" Antonio asked, following after him.
"I-It's Feliciano... H-He's hurt…" Lovino said, ignoring the gasp and continuing. "They took care of his damn injury but he's being a pain in the ass right now. They need me to calm him down."
Antonio nodded and the two ran from the apartment, heading to the shop.
Lovino rushed into the store, then followed his brother's scent to locate him.
Feliciano was still curled up in the corner, his tail hiding the majority of his body, his golden eyes glaring out at the rest of the room hatefully.
"Alright," Lovino sighed as he walked over and knelt down in front of the wolf. "What the hell happened, Feli?"
