Sorry for the long delay, I had my AS level exams, but they're over now, so we're good. This chapter came to me while I was doing MY revision.

Chapter 16- Revision, Newts and the future.
"Olivia!" Lily shouted carrying a load of books and studying utensils, down from the girls dormitory and into the common room.
Olivia opened her eyes from where she had been having a semi sleep in Sirius lap and looked up at her stressed out friend.
"Um yes?" She asked.
"Get your head out of your boyfriends lap and get it into the library to study for the NEWTS." Lily instructed.
Olivia just looked at her and then burst out laughing, along with Frank, Sirius and James, making Remus, Alice, Lily and Amy all frown and glare at them.
"Oh my dear Watson... that, was comical." Olivia smiled.
Lily continued to look at her, deadly serious "I wasn't joking."
Olivia stopped her laughing and looked at her "Lil the exams are two weeks away, that's plenty of time to start revision." She said.
Lily looked at her bewildered "Olivia... I've been revision for three months straight and you're telling me now, that you haven't even started on yours?"
Olivia narrowed her eyes, trying to work out the right thing to say without pissing off the already angry red head before her.
"Umm, yes." Olivia said and Lily's eyes widened.
"Oh apparently not the right thing to say" Olivia mumbled.
"Right you're coming with us." Lily said and pulled Olivia's arm until she stood up from Sirius.
"Wait... what?!" Olivia said.
Alice, Amy and Lily all wrapped their arms around Olivia and started to drag her to the portrait hole.
Olivia grabbed onto Sirius' arms "NOOOOO!" She shouted.
Sirius laughed and tried pulling her back to him. While Alice and Amy helped Lily on one side trying to pull Olivia to them, James and Frank helped Sirius and Olivia became the rope in tug of war.
Olivia winced "Uhh guys! I think I should decide." She said as she was yanked onto Sirius' lap and then pulled back off again into Lily's arms.
Remus watched Olivia being tugged back and forth and then picked her up around the waist, pulling her to him. "I think in this instance Olivia needs to do revision, just like the rest of you."
Lily's eyes looked big enough to bulge out of her head and looked at her boyfriend. "You're saying none of you have started!" She snapped.
James paled a little "I mean-well I've opened a few books, it that counts?" He said quietly and Lily's look darkened to something even Voldemort would be scared of.
"But... We were all jus saying we were going to." He said and went up to the boy's dormitory with Frank and Sirius following.
"Olivia growled "TRAITORS!" She shouted after them.
Sirius poked his head around the bottom of the staircase "Sorry baby, desperate measures to get away from the spawn of Satan." He winked and ran back up the stairs when Lily aimed a hex at him.
"Now Olivia will you come the easy way or the hard way?" Lily asked smiling evilly as she tapped her wand on her opposite hand.
In the end Olivia had gone for the hard way and they had half dragged, half carried her all the way to the library.
After three hours the guys came down the staircase of the boy's dormitory and looked around for any signs of revision stressed females.
"We're in the clear boys." Frank said and flopped down onto one of the sofas.
Sirius let out a breath of relief. "Well at least Lily can't kill us anymore, I mean we did actually revise."
James smirked "Padfoot, you opened a book, wrote a title Notes: and then wrote a sentence, I really don't think that counts as revision."
Sirius shrugged "At least I tried, you just laid there on your bed... it's your girlfriend that's going to kill you while you sleep."
James rolled his eyes "Yeah, well at the moment my girlfriend has kidnapped your girlfriend and is holding her hostage somewhere in the castle, I don't think it's me that has to worry about sleeping with one eye open mate."
Sirius smiled "I could always just seduce her to change her mind about killing me."
James shook his head laughing "Padfoot mate, you know Shadow is more likely to cut off one of your balls then let you seduce her after you left her in the clutches of Lily for nearly three hours."
"You're right; I should probably go rescue my damsel in distress, whose coming?" Sirius said standing up.
James and Frank nodded, going with him. "Remus has gone to the dark side." Frank said shaking his head.
James nodded "Revising... A Marauder revising tut tut." He said shaking his head.
The three of them walked into the library to find their friends and found Olivia sitting on a table writing things down, surrounded by thick revision books.
Sirius quickly went over to her, James and Frank following. "Quick Liv, let's go!" he stage whispered, keeping an eye out for Lily.
"Bloody hell anyone would think this was a military operation." Madam Pince, the Librarian, said from behind them.
"It is." Frank and Sirius said, James had stayed at the edge of the library as the look out.
Olivia looked up at them "What the hell are you doing?" She asked.
"Breaking you out baby." Sirius said "Come on she's not here."
"I can't." Olivia said.
"You can, James is on look out and distraction." Sirius told her.
"No I mean I literally can't go, Lil's kinds spelled me to this chair." She scowled.
Lily walked up behind them. "Ahh good you're all here, now you can all revise." She smiled.
"Prongs!" Frank exclaimed "You were meant to be on L and D." He said using their abbreviation for lookout and distraction.
"She flipped the tables and distracted me." James grinned a loved up look in his eyes. Sirius then noticed his hair was messed up and his top three buttons were undone, his lip smeared in red lipstick which was apparently missing from Lily's own lips.
Lily rolled her eyes and waved her wand at all of them and that's how the marauders found themselves all sitting around the library table, actually revising.
Olivia sat in Sirius' lap in their cave as they asked each other questions back and forth to revise.
"What spell do you use to make water come out from the tip of your wand?" Sirius asked her.
Olivia sighed leaning back into his chest, laying her head back on his shoulder "It's all coming to an end."
Sirius put down the revision book and wrapped his arms around her. "What is baby?" He asked kissing her cheek.
"Everything. I mean we're finishing school, going into a world that's having a war, not knowing if we'll wake up the next day." Olivia whispered.
Sirius held her tightly, rocking her back and forth on his lap. "I'm not going to let you get hurt." He told Olivia.
"I told you before Sirius, that that's what scares me the most." Olivia said stroking his cheek.
Sirius kissed her gently "Me and you Liv, we're going to grow up, get married, have kids and grow old together." He said and ran his fingers over the promise ring her had given her the first Christmas they were together. "I promise."
Olivia leant into him "I love you."
"I love you too baby." Sirius smiled.
Olivia sat in the embrace of his arms, looking out over the pool of water.
"I need to ask you something." Sirius told her quietly.
Olivia turned in his lap and stroked his hair, "What?" She asked just as quiet, neither of them wanting to ruin the peace.
"My Uncle Alphard died a few days ago." Sirius told her.
Olivia held him close "I'm sorry baby." She said knowing he was one of the family members Sirius could actually stand along with his cousin Andromeda.
"I'm okay, it's not like we were really close or anything, but he understood so..." Olivia nodded and kissed his head.
Sirius shook his head "Anyway, he left me some stuff in his will, including a shit load of money and an apartment."
Olivia beamed "Baby that's great, you get your own place."
Sirius chuckled "You really think I'm going to leave you behind?"
Olivia looked up at him "What?"
"Move in with me?" He asked, kissing her neck gently.
Olivia pulled his face up to hers and kissed him, smiling "Yes of course I will!" She squealed and hugged him so hard that he toppled back on the grass with her on top of him.
"Why wouldn't you think I would want you in a place where I can have you all to myself with no interruptions?" He grinned and naughtily and winked.
Olivia rolled her eyes "And here I was thinking you wanted to live together for the love... No apparently you only want me for my body,"
Sirius grinned and held her tightly "You love it." He winked.
Olivia giggled and ran her hands through his hair "Yes... I most definitely do" She smiled and kissed him.
James watched Lily from where he was lounging on the sofa, while Lily sat on at the table of the common room, surrounded by notes and books, running her hand agitatedly through her already messed up hair.
James sighed, she was doing so much revision that she was getting stressed out, and so James decided to help her relax.
He got up from the sofa and walked up behind her, putting his hands on her shoulders, kneading the tense muscles gently.
Lily moaned and rolled her head to loosen the knots of tension "That feels so good." She commented, leaning more into his hands.
James smiled and carried on doing it, kissing the top of her head. "Baby you really need to take a break, you've been at this for the past three hours."
Lily sighed "I know, but it's transfiguration revision and I really need to get an O."
James smiled "Okay, tell you what, let me take you out for a break and a bit of fun, then I'll help you revise when we get back."
Lily smiled "You'd do that?"
"Of course I would, I love you." James said and kissed her gently.
"I love you too and well, I guess you do owe me since I helped you with that DADA essay before we got together."
James laughed "I didn't actually need your help, I just wanted you to be close to me, and I knew if it was school related you probably wouldn't mind."
Lily smacked his arms playfully, "You're so sneaky, yet so smart... We played twenty questions after we finished."
James smiled at the memory "Yes we did and I fell in love with you even more than I already was." He said and Lily blushed.
"I'm sorry I made you wait so long." She whispered.
James pulled her up and close "In a way I'm glad you did, it made you realise that the feelings I had for you were true not just a joke and that's important to me."
Lily smiled "I'm so lucky to have you."
James grinned "Yes, yes you are."
Lily rolled her eyes "Ahh there is your ever present overly large ego." She giggled when he playfully scowled at her.
James tucked her arm into the crook of his elbow and smiled "Now my lady I promised you a fun, revision free break." He said and walked to the portrait hole, with Lily smiling and following him.
James smiled and took her down to the grounds and stopped outside the broom closet to grab a broom. He opened the door and stared shocked when Alice squealed and pulled away from Frank who was missing his shirt.
"Oh nice Stripes, real classy." James drawled and grabbed the nearest broom.
"Up yours Prongs." Frank growled.
Lily shook her head at a blushing Alice. "So how's that revision with Frank going?" She winked making Alice blush even more.
James laughed and pulled Lily away shutting the closet door.
James sat astride the broom tapping the part in front of him, looking at Lily waiting for her to come over to him.
Lily shook her head backing away "Oh no, no no no."
James smiled "Come on Lil baby, I'm not going to let you fall."
"I know you won't but... I'm scared of heights." She admitted shyly.
James took her hand and kissed it gently "Just trust me okay?"
Lily bit her lip and nodded. James pulled her forward gently and sat her on the front of the broom, wrapping his arms around her.
"Close your eyes." He whispered into her ear.
Lily listened to her and leant back into his body, clutching his arms that were around her waist tightly.
James kicked off from the ground and he felt Lily tense up and her fingernails, bit into his arm.
James kissed her neck to relax her, and slowly flew the broom over the black lake, where the almost full moon was so close that it looked like it was touching the water. He smiled and let the broom hover, rapping his arms completely around her waist holding her tight.
"Open." He whispered.
Lily hesitated then opened her eyes slowly and gasped. "Lily's mind didn't even register how high up they were as she took in the beautiful view of the black lake and the lit up castle.
"James it's stunning." She said her eyes wide.
James smiled at her expression. "I know, sometimes me and the other guys come out here on our brooms and hang out."
"Olivia does know you refer to her as a guy right?" Lily asked laughed.
James chuckled and kissed the back of her neck "We both know that girl is part male." Lily rolled her eyes and leant back into him "Thank you, for bringing me up here, I've never seen the castle like this before."
James smiled "Well as the boyfriend it is my duty to make sure you see this spectacular sight before we leave."
Lily turned to face him "James... we will still be together once we leave right?" She asked hesitantly.
James cupped her cheek "Baby, I didn't chase after you for six years to leave you after school finishes... now way, you're mine." He told her.
Lily kissed his palm "Thank you for loving me." She whispered to him.
James leant forward and kissed her "You say it as though it's a hardship for me." He whispered back his lips brushing against hers.
Lily laid her forehead on his "I love you."
"I love you too." James said back.
Lily walked down the stairs from the girl's dormitory into the common room, in a blind panic, it was the first of the newt exams in an hour, starting with transfiguration theory and then the practical after lunch.
She looked around the common room taking in the scene before her, Amy, Alice and Remus sat in a circle on the floor surrounded by thick books, doing their last minute cram. James and Sirius sat with a book on each of their laps, but judging by the laughter that was coming from them, they weren't really using them.
Lily, agitatedly, ran her hands through her already messed up hair, and started to move over to the study circle when something jumped on her back and she fell to the floor.
Olivia grinned down at her best friend as she lay on top of her on the floor "Morning Princess."
Lily groaned and rolled Olivia off her so they were side by side and looked at her "I think you broke my back." She moaned.
Olivia pretended to look shocked "My dear Sherlock are you calling me fat?"
Lily rolled her eyes "Yes Watson, you make elephants look like sticks when they're next to you." She said and sat up, seeing that their group was laughing at them.
Olivia giggled and got up then went over to Sirius dropping the book he had on his lap, onto the floor and replaced it with herself. "I'm sorry if my fatness breaks your legs."
Sirius grinned "It's okay baby." He said and nuzzled her neck.
Lily growled and picked up the book Olivia had put on the floor and thrust it towards them "REVISE!" she snapped at them.
Olivia sighed "Lil babe, I hardly think that revising one hour before the exam will change anything, it's go time now, we're either going to fail or pass." She shrugged. "Besides this is Transfiguration, and we managed to become..." Olivia looked around to make sure no-one was there. "Animagus' when we were thirteen." She finished.
Lily growled in frustration and opened her book up again. Olivia grinned and plucked it off her "Whoops." She giggled and hopped off Sirius' lap and ran off with it.
Lily ran after Olivia, chasing her around the common room, grabbing for her book "Olivia!" Lily shouted frustrated.
Olivia jumped up on the sofa waving the book "Want it, come and get it." She sung and giggled.
Lily lunged for her and Olivia ran out of the portrait hole with Lily hot on her heels.
Sirius and James watched as their girlfriends ran out and then looked at each other "I don't even know what to say right now." James commented.
"Yep I'm with you there." Sirius agreed.
"I guess we should probably get down to the room to line up and everything." Amy said wringing her hands together nervously.
Remus put his hands over hers and lifted them to his mouth, kissing them "You'll be fine baby." He smiled and pulled her close.
Amy smiled dreamily and laid her head on his chest, wrapping her own arms around his waist.
Alice smiled at them "Not to break up this loving moment or anything, but we're all leaving now." She called over from where everyone was waiting at the portrait hole for them.
"OLIVIA COLLINS!" They all heard Lily screech from somewhere down the corridor followed by Olivia's laughs.
"Well... I guess we're meeting them down there?" Frank assumed and everyone laughed.
"It's over... it's finally over." Lily smiled happily leaning into her boyfriend.
James chuckled and kissed her head "Exams are over, it's time for you my beautiful to take a chill pill and relax." He smiled.
Lily grinned and reached over and snagged the bottles of butterbeer James held in his hand and drank half of it in one go.
Olivia giggled drunkenly and walked over to them. All the Gryffindor 7th years had thrown a party in the common room inviting fifth years and up from all over the school, to celebrate the end of OWL and NEWT exams.
Olivia wrapped an arm around Lily "Wow Lil's if you can take that much beer in one go, James is a lucky boy." She winked and Lily, feeling so happy and free from the exams, winked right back at her,
"You know it girl." She giggled and James actually blushed from his neck to the top of his hair line.
Alice grinned as she walked over "Lily-kins I'm shocked that you would say such a thing."
Lily shrugged, smiling "If you can't beat them, join them."
All the girls grabbed their own alcohol and sat in a circle by the fire, singing along to the music and reminiscing about the seven years of school and how quickly it had all passed.
Olivia looked to the side when she felt an arm go round her and turned expecting to see Sirius, but narrowed her eyes when she saw an unfamiliar face.
"Um can I help you?" She asked her brain slightly fuzzy from the alcohol.
"I'm Michael, I transferred to Hogwarts to do my NEWTS and well, I've seen you around, and you're very beautiful, just thought I might give it a try you know." He winked at her.
Amy looked up when she noticed that Sirius had just seen what was going on and was angrily making his way over.
"Umm... new guy, you might wanna first move your arm away and second, run like hell is on your heels, because it literally is." Amy told him.
Michael looked confused and his eyes widened when he felt someone grab his shoulder and drag him up from his position, next to Olivia on the floor.
He didn't even manage to get a word out before Sirius had landed a fist in his jaw and into his stomach.
"Dude! What the hell is wrong with you!?" Michael cried out, holding his face and stomach.
"Keep your filthy hands off my girlfriend, or I'll break them got it." Sirius threatened.
"How about I fight you for her huh? Big tough guy." He taunted, clearly not knowing who he was messing with.
"Go ahead." Sirius answered and as soon as Michael planted a fist on his cheek bone, he fought back.
Olivia watched shocked as the two boys went all out, she had no doubt that Sirius would win, but she still hated to see him get hurt, when a lucky punch managed to hit him.
Sirius finally landed one last hit in the stomach and Michael went down on his knees, with Sirius standing over him, panting and wiped blood from his nose and lip.
"Stay away from her." Sirius told him and went up to the boys changing room to change out of his blood stained shirt.
Olivia grimaced and passed Alice her bottle and followed him up stopping in the doorway and watched open mouthed as Sirius stripped his shirt over his head.
She leant against the doorframe with her arms crossed "Now that is a sight to behold." She whistled.
Sirius turned and smiled slightly at her and went to put on another shirt, when Olivia walked over to him and put her hand on his chest.
"Don't ruin my fun yet, don't you know what a guy's sweaty pecs and abs can do to a girl, not to mention this beautiful V." She giggled "It seriously makes me want to swoon." She laughed and pretended to faint.
Sirius laughed and caught her in his arms "Not to worry fair maiden your white night is here." He played along.
"And all sweaty and muscled too." She grinned cheekily.
Sirius smiled and shook his head "Chicks are weird."
Olivia raised her eyebrows "It's no different from guys finding boobs hot." She pointed out.
Sirius grinned and picked her up, "I like this change of subject." He kissed her neck.
Olivia giggled and pushed him away "Come on you can focus on that topic later, right now you unfortunately, for me, have to get re dressed and then we can go downstairs and get our groove on."
Sirius smiled and kissed her cheek, pulling on a shirt, laughing at his girlfriends groan and took her hand, kissing her knuckles.
"Let's go get drunk."
